Asher paused slightly and shrugged. "I dunno why did that. It's not like I made the movies." He replied heading towards the now worn path that led to his cabin. Soon they were walking down the path while the birds chirped from the trees and squirrels ran around in the bushes.

Lena would have continued her questioning that had seemed to be irritating him to a slight degree, but the many creatures that shared the forest had her attention drawn in all sorts of different directions. She'd only ever heard muffled birdsong - but to hear their crisp voices so clearly, it was almost like the songs Lynn sang to Nina - though not as dormitive. She even noted the different flashes of color - golds, blacks, browns - she had even seen some white from a sparrow! Lena felt that she finally belonged somewhere, and getting lost in her own thoughts, she stopped following Asher for a moment to take in the beauty around her.

Asher continued on, not realizing that Lena wasn't following him anymore. He finally stopped when she never replied to him. Glancing back at her, he grinned a little. "It's nice isn't it?"

With his voice, Lena snapped out of her mezmerized thoughts and blinked stupidly for a moment before understanding the words. "Oh..yeah, yeah, it is." and she smiled at him, with a faint swish of her tail. In that moment, she was glad that he had found ehr cowering against the side of the big mansion all the other wolves lived in and forced her to be social. "Sorry...we should...get going to the movies, right?" averting her gaze and bringing it back up to meet his, her muzzle played with another smile.

Asher was still grinning at her. Hearing her question he paused. It certainly would be nice to share his love for the movies to her but it seemed she really liked it out here. Almost like she had never been outside. "Well.... we can always watch them another time. I mean they're not going anywhere. You look like you want to stay out here and enjoy the day." He paused wagging his tail slowly, "We can stay out here and explore a little if you want."

Lena looked at him strangely for a moment. Another time? Did that mean he wanted there to be another time? Her tail swished without her knowing it, and she nodded at him. "Yeah, I...I do want to explore a little. I've never really...been this far outside before." she confessed to him a little shyly and averted her gaze to the grassy ground beneath her paws. She'd always stayed close to her father, where she'd felt accepted and like she fit in, so it was good to be out here. Sticking out like a sore thumb with her harsh white against the foresty greens and browns, maybe. But she had another sore thumb with her.

Asher tilted his head a little with a smile. "Well that's fine. Hm... do you want to explore around here, or go towards the back of the manor, or head towards town? You know I don't really go out exploring. Only places I go are home, to the manor, or to town. So really it's a first for me to go exploring." He replied with a shrug. His acting and then Star Wars took up so much of his time.

Lena tilted her head one way, and then the other, ears perking and flicking. Town? There was a town? "There's a town? I..didn't know that." When she thought on it, she realized she'd much rather like to hide her white fur out here, in the forest, but if Asher would be with her, she wouldn't look like as much of an oddball. That made up her mind, and she said softly, "I'd like to see what the town looks like." she stated, a puppyish smile gracing her lips.

Asher nodded. "Yep there's a town. Lots of stuff happens in town and there's all kind of shops there too." He said wagging his tail, "Then we'll go to town." He glanced around and frowned. There wasn't a path heading to the road until they got to the cabin or went back to the manor and got on the road there. "Looks like we're heading to my cabin anyways. I don't want us to get lost and that's the only place there's a path that leads to the road to town." He began heading forward again.

As Asher described the town to her, Lena felt her tail wag with enthusiasm. Getting up to follow him, her belly rumbled. Flushing a slight pink color that matched the purple accents in her fur, Lena squeaked, "Is there food there, too?" She had never been a hunter. Actually, she found the act of hunting abhoring. Just because a creature stuck out from the rest of its kind, it deserved to die. Like she had once thought she had. But after meeting Asher, Lena realized she hadn't been so painfully different. She planned to stick with him because of this. Nodding somewhat absently, Lena chimed, "Okay." and began to follow him at a brisk pace.

"Food in town or at my home? Cause there's food at both. But there's probably better food in town. We can go to Auntie May's Animal Cafe." He said as he continued down the path. It didn't take long before a clearing appeared and with it a cabin. "Well this is my home. Do you need to eat now or do you think you can wait until we get to town?"

"That sounds good." her tail swished back and forth in remarks to the good food in town. She had always just foraged from kills from her family, none too happy with it either. "This is nice; you live all the way out here?" she seemed distracted for a moment before answering, and her stomach gurgled once again. "I think...food now would be a good idea. Only if I'm not imposing, of course!" she followed up quickly, pulling her ears back slightly in an attempt to placate him if she had offended him by asking for food.

"Auntie May's Animal Cafe has some great food. It's also about the only place we're allowed to freely come and go." Asher replied. He nodded at her question. "Yep this is where my owner and many of her moonlits live. Apparently there are too many of us to live at the mansion. Of course not all of us live here. Some left to go live elsewhere but majority of us are here." He explained with a grin, "Food here it is. Nah it's not imposing. Blue usually keeps the place pretty well stocked and doesn't mind company."
He lead her towards the cabin heading for the back. A smaller building could be seen now. It looked like a shed or something had been converted into a home. "Ah... That's Fiorenza's home. Her family lives there... or most of them at least." He said. He continued on heading for a back door to the cabin. It would take them into the kitchen where they would encounter two other moonlits.
((Going to be tossing in Roxas and Lux for a moment. Hope you don't mind. ))

(( Absolutely fine <3 I might ask if you'd come to the Family Reunion RP as Lena's mate with Asher, if you still intend for them to grow as mates? Of course the timeline will be after this RP is done, or mate status is declared, or whatever xD; ))
"Auntie May? She's your aunt, is she..nice?" Lena asked, dumbfoundedly. Then, another slew of questions filled her mind, "You can't leave?" Listening to his explanation about his home, she nodded, slowly. There sure were an awful lot of Moonlits at the mansion, but too many too fit living in this cabin? Oh, boy...For a moment, her tail slipped under her body and her ears pined back: What if all these other Moonlit here wouldn't like her? Or, worse. Pick on her. She had to blink back tears, but shoved her emotions aside when Asher had grinned at her. Somehow, he made her feel more at home. Her tail flicked into a wag at the news that she wasn't imposing, and she nodded, gratefully, "Thank you."
She followed him, looking around as though she was paranoid, and had been just about to ask about the shed when Asher put some light on the matter. Again, she nodded, not knowing who this 'Fiorenza' was, trying to get a hold of her nerves regarding other Moonlits.

((I sure do! They make for a cute couple. XP I was wondering if you wanted him to be tossed into that rp.))
Asher shook his head. "Oh no. She's not my aunt. Everyone just calls her that since she seems like such an aunt like person. Oh she's very nice." He replied. He tilted his head at her question not quite understanding what she meant. "Huh? Can't leave? Of course I can leave if I want. Everyone here is allowed to leave or stay if they want."
He nudged the door open and looked inside. He immediately spotted two moonlits. One was at the store cooking something while the other was sitting near the other looking uncomfortable. "Oh hey Roxas, Lux." He called out while wagging his tail.
"Lux again... no. You have to stay here and rest. Doctor's orders." The anthro that was next to the stove said. He turned to see Asher and someone else come in. "Hello Asher. See you've made another friend. I've got some stew cooking if you're interested." He then turned to Lux and pointed the spoon at her. "Stay put."
"But Roxas! It's so boring just sitting around." Lux whined. She had a cast on her left back leg, a wrap around her tail and middle. She also appeared to be a bit ragged. "Come on... it's just one small, itty bitty little trick. It's perfectly safe and nothing can go wrong." She whined some more.
When Roxas was distracted greeting Asher and his guest she tried to stand up. However that failed and the anthro was on to her ways and scolded her. She huffed and looked at the guests. "Hello. You'll side with me right?! An injured moonlit needs fresh air! Right?!"
