Aaaaand now Ephraim was losing his balance once again. Of course, Kishuna had to catch him, nearly falling over himself. But he kept himself up, holding Ephraim for a moment. He was again distracted; but he found it a little different this time, holding the prince there against him. After a moment, his arms wrapped around Ephraim gently, holding him for just a little while. ".... Hey. Be careful, all right?" This time, his voice was kind and sincere, and it seemed as if he actually meant it. "I don't want you getting hurt. Both of us are going to make it out of here in one piece, understand?" He gave the lancer a slight smile, then released him, turning towards the nearby light. "So, shall we?" he asked, stepping normally now.

The light, of course, was the exit to the cave. They both would step out into the light; the wolf pup had already exited and was seated on something rather... larger than just a chunk of metal. Granted, there were chunks of metal scattered about; but in the center was something larger and only partly metallic. The pup sat on this; the bright red color and smoke rising from it seemed to indicate that it was hot, but the wolf didn't seem bothered at all. It just continued to sit there, wagging its tail happily.

Kishuna stared for a moment, in a bit of confusion. ".... Well, I didn't know THAT was up here," he muttered, sounding a bit worried. "I mean I saw something falling but I thought it was all pieces of metal, like this..." He rummaged in his pocket, and pulled out a chunk of metal; ironically, that chunk would probably have been big enough to make a spearhead out of. Of course, this also raised the question of how he could fit it into skintight leather pants, but... we probably shouldn't go there.

"R-Right...Of..Of course" getting hurt now would be bad..worse case scenario. They came all this way and if he ended up getting the worse out of this adventure that wouldn't be all that fun now would it.

He was able to stand up straight after Kishuna set him down..and after that little molesting fiasco. That's right, Ephraim admitted, he had been molested. Not..that he minded....what the hell? You should mind, you were about to be raped.

Ephraim didn't like the aura in this room. It gave him a bit of chills down the spine and was a little...eerie. Much like the feeling he had against the dark god back in Magvel..this aura wasn't as threatening though. "I don't like this feeling.." he muttered, loud enough for the morph to hear. The expression on his face was that of a serious and worried look. Ephraim brought two fingers up to his lips and whistled for the wolf to come toward him. It obeyed, wondering what was wrong.

".... I don't exactly trust this," the morph muttered. One hand made a slight motion, and the piece of metal vanished, to be replaced with his blade. Not that the little knife would do much, since it was, after all, just a knife. More suited for humans than for animals or anything else out of the ordinary. But he'd try his best, in any case. Maybe nothing would happen at all...

And that was when the object split across the center, the redness and smoke suddenly dissipating as it grew with a hiss. And it certainly grew; it went from a lump on the ground to something standing nearly eight feet; the thing looked at them angirly and gave a strange hissing noise. To tell the truth, it looked... almost like a lizard, if a lizard had plates of sorts across its body, and if that lizard had fangs and claws. And looked as if it were ready to bite your head off. Clearly it wasn't a normal denizen of this world, but to be honest that didn't really matter. Either this thing was going to die or they were going to die, and Kishuna liked to think it would be the former.

"... All right, now I'm not going to be able to do much.... but if you distract it I'll try to get in close, all right?" Kishuna muttered to the lancer. "It'll be close but we can do this, got it? And if you're in danger, RUN. I'll come after you later."
PostPosted: Tue Dec 15, 2009 9:03 pm

Wait what? Even if he was the distraction, there wasn't much Kishuna could do in the first place and this..LIZARD was far beyond any normal lizard they could have possibly ever seen. "Are you crazy!?" Ephraim shouted, turning to Kishuna, about to yell out to him but the morph had already run off on his own.

Great, how exactly where they going to take care of this in the first place? Did the morph forget about the wolf? But then again, neither wanted it to get in their way. But..might as well make use of it. Ephraim whistled for the wolf once more. Not much could be done besides grab its attention. Run? Run where was what the lancer had questioned.

"HEY!" might as well start somewhere, Ephraim shouted, trying all means to grab his attention toward him.

This looked threatening. Like, really threatening. And Kishuna found himself being actually afraid for once. Partly for himself... but oddly enough, he found himself not wanting Ephraim to get hurt either. Ugh, damnit, that was why he'd died last time, trying to make sure someone else didn't get hurt. Oh well. He'd be okay this time, he was sure. So he snuck around behind the creature, waiting for it to move.

But, it moved faster than he'd though, rushing at Ephraim wit hclaws outstretched. The morph freaked for a second, dashing after the thing. No, that wasn't going to happen. That one was HIS, not some weird... sky creature's. He jumped, making it onto the thing's back... and almost slid off. Damn, those plates were slippery. But he hooked his fingers around the edge of one, swinging the knife up and into the side of the creature's throat. THis elicited a roar, but not much else; the thing grabbed Kishuna and tossed him out of the way, luckily against a wall nearby instead of off the cliff. Then, it returned to its first target.

The wolf tried its best to help out; it chomped into the reptile's leg, giving another screech from the thing and slowing it just a bit. This, however, did in fact result in the wolf being flung off the cliff; with a yelp, it disappeared into the trees, looking completely surprised. And that was all for that; honestly, that was the way this whole fight looked to be going. This wouldn't end well, more than likely.

And then Ephraim was facing the creature by himself, and he wasn't really in the best position. Granted, he had his lance, but that didn't seem like it would work all that well. And that wouldn't last long if this thing kept attacking him. Its claws came down; this swipe was longer, looking like it would actually hit the prince.

Then Kishuna was there; the little knife wouldn't work, so instead he curled Ephraim into his arms, taking the slashes across his back. The muscles in his neck stood out as he clenched his jaw, fighting back a scream. "D-damnit, you... what did I tell you... about getting HURT?!"
PostPosted: Tue Dec 15, 2009 10:14 pm

Ephraim had no time to think, sure he dodged the first swipe but the second was coming. This wasn't good...This..definlently wasn't going good. The wolf ended up somewhere off the cliff! But that wasn't his main concern! His own safety, what the hell was he going to do!? Granted he handed two zombie dragons back during the fight against the Dark god but Ephraim wasn't sure if he could do something like that again!

He backed up a little, watching closely at the lizard. Claw raised and in a swift movement came down. "This..can't..!" the lancer screamed in the back of his head. Just when he thought things were going to end, Kishuna emerged and covered him. Ephraim's eyes widened at the sudden action, not only did the morph protect him..he was..bleeding....he was bleeding from that large wound! The idiot! What was he thinking!?

"D-damnit, you... what did I tell you... about getting HURT?!"

What..What about it? He followed through with what Kishuna had ordered..he had done nothing wrong! But..He..Kishuna...

Ephraim raised both arms, taking the morph into his arms and set him on the ground. Fighting back the tears he was currently bottling up. Now wasn't the time for that..but there was one thing however, Ephraim knew for sure. Whether he was able to do this alone or not, the lancer was about to find out. That creature wasn't going to get away with this.

"..Wait here for me.." whispering softly to the morph whom seemed half-concious at the moment. He stood up, turning his gaze to the lizard that seemed to have been mocking them this entire time.

First thing thing was first, lead it away from Kishuna..as far as possible for the time being. He stepped over to the side, making sure the creature's eyes followed him before he made a mad dash toward the direction the wolf was thrown. Ephraim stopped for a brief moment, only to get away from being food for the lizard. His spear swung toward its direction. He was close enough to get rid of his right eye, if not completly blinding, leaving a scratch. This only aggravated to the lizard more and it followed through on the lancer.

He couldn't fight it directly..obviously..even the brave lance wasn't strong enough to pierce through that..but if..wait..This gave Ephraim an idea, of course, he needed to provoke the creature more. The lancer ducked and rolled toward the lizard and jabbed it near the arm, where it was barely protected by its scales, drawing heavy blood and hitting a vital muscle. He ran once more, the lizard still following but that soon ended when he nearly toppled over the edge of a cliff, down where spiked rocks were. This was perfect, if he couldn't take him down with the lance, might as well do it the tactical way. Granted this probably wasn't going to be the smartest thing he's done, but it was something. He slowly took a step back, inching away from the lizard as it came closer. The cliff slowly cracking at the weight of the large creature.

The lizard opened its jaws and snapped down at the lancer. Ephraim took this chance and stepped back once more, giving enough room for the bite to miss and giving him a chance to jump on its head. The lance was driven through the jaw, it pierced down through the upper mouth with enough force. The cliff cracked, forgetting the spear Ephraim ran toward the still intact ledge, barely missing it due to the swift swinging of his tail. He dare not look down at the creature that hissed at the pain it receieved. The image wasn't a pretty sight to see. Ephraim did however, give a quick glance before hauling himself up. That was over..

~*~

Kishuna..where..? He left him here..

Ephraim retraced his steps, back to the area where he had left the morph in the first place. He spotted Kishuna, still on the ground where he left him. "Kishuna.." he murmured, taking a step toward him before making a full out dash toward the morph. He pulled him gently into his arms, shaking him a little. "Kishuna..Kishuna!" he called, needing to know if he was alright..well of course he wasn't! He just took a damn hit that could possibly kill him! No..No! This was not happening! "Kishuna!!" once more, with a little more force this time.

The morph still laid motionless, Ephraim couldn't even tell if he was breathing anymore he just, needed, to know if he was fine. This wasn't suppose to happen...what happened to making it out alive..? What happened to the both of them making it out alive? Dammit Kishuna!

".....Stupid.." tears streamed down his cheeks down to his chin. The lancer shook his head, clenching his hand, holding the morph close. "Stupid...You weren't suppose to try and kill yourself..! You....Idiot!!" If Kishuna was concious at the moment, that would what he would be hearing. Ephraim muttered the words 'stupid' and 'idiot' over and over, the tears continued to roll down his cheeks.

What good was this victory? If Kishuna wasn't even ok to celebrate it with..what good...was it..?

Forgotten Morph

Well damn, blood loss really weakened a person. He'd sort of forgotten how bad that felt. He'd kind of hoped that morphs, you know, didn't react the same way as humans did, but nope, no such luck. And now his back hurt like hell. Again. Fuuuuuuuck this wasn't what he'd wanted. Ephraim was laying him down now, theoretically to go kill that monster. Which was a good thing, really, because then he'd get revenge. Or something. Thinking was a little hazy right now. Anyway, he'd just wait here and bleed out. Sounded like LOADS of fun. He frowned quietly; his last real conscious thought was 's**t, no way I'm getting laid tonight.'

And then there was a sea of white. Except it was red. Or something. he didn't even know it was all pretty confusing. Fuuuuuuck was he dead again? He really hoped not, being dead the first time sucked and it hurt like hell when you got sucked back into the real world and got to be alive again. Then again that might just have been that body. Kishuna made a face, giving a slight growl. Well, this probably wasn't him being dead, since there'd been more... y'know, ghosts and stuff. Also the guy he'd killed like two minutes earlier was there bitching like a little girl. And trying to make fun of Kishuna for being dead, too, at least until he'd punched the guy in his smug ethereal face. Take that, you incorporeal little ********, enough with the flashbacks, he told himself. He should probably wake up before the kid off and left without him. And, hey, wouldn't you know it, conveniently there was the sound of a voice coming from far off. Inside the light. Ugh, but wasn't that supposed to kill him? God dying didn't make any sense, he'd have to ask Renault to complain to the Goddess about that when he got back. Anyway, for now he had someone to go find. He'd made a promise, after all.

He slowly moved back in the direction of consciousness; odd, it almost sounded like he could hear someone crying. But that couldn't be right, could it? Nah, it'd never happen. But then he felt his cheeks damp, and began to realize what was happening. His eyes cracked open slightly, and he got a rather large shock. The prince really was crying, and it seemed to be over him. And the morph found a faint blush spreading over his face. W-what the hell? Was this just because someone was caring? Damn... well, he supposed he knew the way to cure someone crying like that. "....Hey.... Ephy..." His voice was soft, but the prince couldn't miss hearing it. "Thank you..." And then the morph's hand came up, closing over the back of Ephraim's neck, and his face came up, lips softly covering Ephraim's as he pulled the prince into a kiss.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:02 pm

The body he was holding shifted against his weight, Ephraim blinked through tears. Kishuna..? He was..alive..? He was alive! The morph spoke up in a very soft matter..he shouldn't speak..speaking made the pain worse. The lancer shook his head, trying to get the morph to hush himself. A soft 'thank you' was heard, it made the prince happy, but at the same time he wanted to continue screaming 'stupid' at him. For his careless action, for jumping in without thinking of his own life. He wanted to scream to the world how stupid this morph would be if he had died once more.

Everything, to yell, lecture, nag this morph. He didn't care, he didn't care at all anymore. Kishuna's hand came to rest on the back of his neck, even with all that had happened, Ephraim didn't care. His lips met with Kishuna's and even with all that happened he didn't resist, didn't get embarrassed. After a few moments he pulled away, shaking his head. "..your..your still...an idiot.." that the morph was but Ephraim couldn't help but give him a warm smile.

In a short amount of time, he wasn't afraid to admit that there was a possibility he had fallen for the morph.

Kishuna smiled back at the prince; a genuine smile, not a smirk this time. "Yeah, maybe, but I saved your life, didn't I?" he said with a wink. He paused for a second, then frowned. "Sorry about this, but I need to borrow a bit. I'll give it back later." Sitting up now with a bit of effort, he stared at Ephraim for a moment, then kissed him again, this time longer and slower. When he pulled back, his face was a soft pink color; in truth, he'd pulled just a bit of Ephraim's quintessence into himself, enough to stanch the bleeding until they could get somewhere to fix it. Then, he stood, using Ephraim as a sort of crutch to help himself up. "Yeah, okay, let's go..."

The morph picked up a larger chunk of metal, and then they were gone, a soft red glow surrounding them. In a moment, they would find themselves in what seemed to be a small hut; not much was here, save a bed and a few cabinets. "Ugh. I think I'll just lay here," the morph muttered, stumbling over to the bed and falling on his face. "You're staying here tonight. I can't bandage my back by myself." A moment later, he glanced back at the young man, one eye slipping open slyly. "Besides.... it's going to be cold tonight. And my injured body needs to be kept warm~"

And, of course, a soft scratching sound at the door heralded the arrival of the third member of their 'party'.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:24 pm

A little stunned at what happened anyhow now that he realized what was going on, he still didn't mind it. Wait..borrow what? What did- his mind was cut off once more when Kishuna pulled him in for another kiss. Wasn't one enough for now?? He pulled away, noticing the morph had a little color back into his face. What exactly did he borrow? Quintessence? Didn't the person have to have magical abilities? Whatever, he didn't know.

The next second that happened was they were out of there with the metal and in some..hut. Well, least Kishuna had a place to stay. Ephraim was about to move out of the door until a hand came to yank at his elbow and pulled him. "Hwa! W-What?" the lancer questioned, looking at the morph in a fairly confused way. S-Staying? This hut was completly empty..abandoned actually, no way was he going to stay in such a rag-tag place! Looks like he didn't have a choice anyhow. Kishuna wasn't going to let him go anyhow.

Something scratched at the door, giving Ephraim an excuse to get up and answer the door. In popped the pup they thought they left and thought was dead. It was very much alive and somehow found its way to the two..perhaps it picked up their scent? Where were they anyways? Just a little outside Eyris? Bah, maybe Kishuna knows..he'd have to ask later. "....Well...it looks like this little one is going to stay with us....we might..as well name it" Ephraim suggested, kneeling down to the animal and rubbed its head. "...Well I know what gender you are now." all this time with this little wolf following them and they now find out it is actually a 'girl'. "Ciela then"

((bonus to anybody who knows where that name is from lol ))

The next hour or so went by pretty swiftly; there were bandages in a drawer under one of the cabinets, and Kishuna had Ephraim tape him up with those. And if maybe the prince's hands lingered just a bit longer than they needed to... did it matter? Not really~ And soon Kishuna was bandaged up, all ready to start healing. It was true, what he'd said; it was beginning to get cold already. Ephraim did wind up staying, still feeling a bit concerned for the morph. After all, the morph had just saved his life and injured himself doing so, and he felt he owed the morph a bit.

But not this much, now that Kishuna revealed what he'd actually been planning. Moving faster than an injured person really should be expected to, he knocked off Ephraim's armor, then, holding the young man in place, stripped his shirt from him, despite the prince's protests. Then, he pulled the lancer back to the bed; his protests grew louder, but Kishuna didn't care. The wolf - Ciela, was it? - seated herself in front of the door, almost looking the part of a proper guard. And Kishuna pulled Ephraim down into the bed with him, the prince sort of resigning himself to his fate.

The morph's arms wrapped around the young man tenderly, and he gave a soft kiss to the nape of Ephraim's neck. Ephraim flushed, but really he was pleased; of course he was. Kishuna smirked softly, nustling up against the warmth of the shirtless prince. He spoke two words before falling into sleep, two soft sounds that Ephraim may or may not have heard... "You're mine."

((Time Jump~))

Few days had passed since that little fiasco adventure had occurred. Ephraim ended up moving in with Kishuna in that little hut...well..forced more likely if you want to be specific. The day after they returned, Ephraim took the piece of metal and hired the finest blacksmith in Eyris that he could find. He wanted to help but the expert kicked him out of his shop immedietly, telling the prince to leave this to a professional.

He was told to return 3-4 days after it began and here he was, dressed in his usual attire and a winter cloak over everything. He was standing outside the shop, waiting for it to open so he may retrieve whatever that metal was made into.

Ephraim paced a bit, stopping in his tracks only to have a familiar person sneak up behind him, wrap his arms around him and started feeling up his chest. Oooh Ephraim very well knew who that was and he raised a fist, smacking the person on the forehead. "Have you no self control, Kishuna!" Ephraim scolded, hiding the blush with his cloak.

Of course the morph was watching; mostly the butt. Ephraim had a really nice butt. The prince couldn't see him, mostly because the morph was good at hiding, he always had been. If he didn't want to be found, he wasn't GOING to be found. Then again, sometimes he couldn't resist, he just had to do something and then he was found out. Such as in this case; honestly he'd been hoping to see the prince working on his lance again, but of course he'd been denied that. So he'd have to settle for the next-best thing.

He slipped up behind Ephraim silently, reaching around to run his hands across the prince's firm chest; he got a firm smack on the head for his trouble, but gave only a grin for a response. "If I didn't have self-control, your pants would already be off, you know~" the morph told him with a smirk. "It isn't as if anyone's watching, we're out here in the snow. And you do have that cloak covering everything." Waiting for the lance to be done and the blacksmith to get done was incredibly boring, though. Kishuna finished off his 'rationalization' with a light peck to Ephraim's lips, not letting the prince go yet. ".... Now, see, since you have that cloak, that gives me a little freedom..."

And the morph reached down, for a moment groping Ephraim in his most sensitive spot. Hehehe... now he just wanted to see the look on the young man's face. And he wished there was some way to capture that moment~
PostPosted: Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:33 pm

Self control...right...his pants.....oh god..that is exactly what happened last night and should he go into details on that? Hell no, that activity was to be kept in their house and their house alone..besides the wolf..but Ciela wouldn't say anything..not that she can.

Wait..here? in the cold?/ Oh no..no, no, no no! Absolutly not! Ephraim stepped back, nearly tripping over a block of ice that had froze on the ground, clutching his cloak near. "A-are you crazy!? No way!" Besides, it wasn't like the cloak was big enough to cover whatever this morph had in mind in the first place. No meant no and even if he was forced that was just..no!

He squinted his eyes when Kishuna moved forward and gave a light peck on his lips. Ephraim still couldn't get over that in the first place and each time he knew it was coming, he froze.

".... Now, see, since you have that cloak, that gives me a little freedom..."

The lancer blinked, looking up at the morph, a bit confused at what he meant in the first place. "..Freedom..? What do y-HWA!" his question was answered when he felt that hand sudden grab his crotch. Ephraim jumped maybe a little, his reflexes took over and shoved Kishuna toward the ground. His cheeks were bright red and most certainly if the morph was close enough he could hear the lancer's heart beat against his chest ever so loudly. "W-W-W-W-What...A-ARE YOU CRAZY!?"

"Ahem"

Ephraim froze where he stood and slowly turned his head toward the door. The expert blacksmith stood there with the finished lance in head and was almost a bit too embarrassed to look at the one who order. "T-Thi-"

"Save it" the man spoke, walking up to the lancer and handed him his order. With that done, walked back into his shop and closed the door slowly.

The lancer clenched his fist and pointed at the morph. "Th-This! YOU! AH!!" he couldn't even say it, it wasn't that he was angry but he was embarrassed over the limit he couldn't even speak straight. He didn't even take note of the lance that was in his hand...

Awww, now that was a little overboard for just messing around, wasn't it? Now the morph was sort of sprawled in the snow... still shirtless, as usual. It was kinda cold. But still, Kishuna didn't look angry, he just smiled and smiled, grinning like a fool. He'd gotten what he wanted, and Ephraim wouldn't stay angry for long. The prince just wasn't that type of person, and it wasn't as if...

Aaaaand the blacksmith WOULD come out at that exact moment as well, wouldn't he? And he'd seen the whole thing. Kishuna's smile sort of dissipated, turning into a slight frown. It was all well and good to embarrass his lover, but he didn't need other people seeing it. It'd make his prince uncomfortable. So instead he pulled himself back to his feet and listened for a moment, watching the transaction of the lance to Ephraim now. The lancer accepted it, then decided to try and make himself feel better by venting on Kishuna. The morph couldn't help but chuckle; it was still rather entertaining, after all.

This did seem to be a finely-crafted lance, however. It was ornamented, but not to the point where it was unusable; in fact, it seemed to compliment the strength of the weapon quite well. Along the side of the shaft was embossed a name; "Siegmund," Kishuna read out loud, tilting his head a bit sideways to see it. "Seems to have turned out properly, didn't it?"

And then he had to make his apologies. So he stepped up to Ephraim, arms wrapping around the lancer gently, pulling him close against the morph. His lips touched briefly to Ephraim's neck, before moving to his ear to whisper a series of soft words that he knew would calm the other. "I love you..."
