Zhaela walked up to the pine tree and patted the Dragon gurding it. Pelius just snorted comfortably. Zhaela sat down and leaned against the trunk of Thalia's pine tree. I wish I could have met her. She was a wonderful Hunter.

Nik walked up to the pine tree that had been Thalia at one time. He looked at the land beyond the camp's border and thought of his dead step-father and where his mother and half-brother were living. It would be so easy to walk across the border and see his mother and half-brother, but he could get them killed like he had his step-father.
He didn't belong here though, that was for sure. Maybe he could just roam around and fight monsters...
Nik thought about that and wanted to go...
