Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu
Flying Heaven Honorable Sword Flow

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

History: The sword technique developed by the first Hiko Seijiro used to protect the people from tyranny and national fear, to protect the weak from opression. It is a style that requires Shin Soku (God-like speed) and the will to live and nothing with guilt. This technique is famed for the user's incredible speed; speed of the sword, speed of reading the opponent's moves, speed of reacting towards it. Passed down through thirteen generations, this style roughly translates as "the sword which soars through heaven." The practitioner can anticipate the moves of an opponent based on intent and react before a move is made.

Abilities Attained: Aside from the god like speed in which the practioner attains, he also learns the ability to predict his enemies's movements, as if they can tell the future or read the minds of their opponents. This in actuality is similar to the Sharingan abilities. The truth of the matter is, that the practioner gains the reflexes to predict the opponents moves by fraction of seconds for every stage that they have attained.

Training Methods: Training is usually done with a sword. Any type of sword will do, though the usual is katana or cleaver sword. High amounts of sword swings, target practice, muscle building, and agility practice are done, to bring about the full potential of the shinobi. The various techniques, stances, and forms must be taught by Master to Pupil.

Stage 1 Ran Geki Jutsu
Genin

The first part is called Ran-Geki-Jutsu, which means to wield the sword to attack sequentially at once. At this stage the practioner is given a sword and taught how to wield it effectively. The user is also taught to be able to predict an opponents move for a fraction of a second. The user also learns to use chakra to boost the body's movment so they can keep up. To master this stage the user must learn all the techniques and fight against the master for 4 posts.

Techniques:

-Battoujutsu (Instant Sword Draw): To use this technique the user must place the right leg in front of the left leg to avoid cutting your own leg. This is an instant draw technique, ussually used for countering, since the user does not move from his spot. In a stance form and waiting for an opponent with the correct timing, a powerful swing with the twist of waist. This technique is extremely lethal and difficult to dodge unless the opponent has great reaction skills.

-Ryu-Kan-Sen (Dragon Wind Up Flash):
A technique used once one has gotten beside an opponent, it involves a very powerful swing with the twist of your whole body, inflicting a direct blow under the skull.

Do-Ryu-Sen (Ground Dragon Flash):
A technique where it strikes the ground and with the force of the strike, the ground will explode towards the opponent.

Ryu-Sou-Sen (Dragon Double Flash):
This involves multiple slashes to its opponent, without giving the opponent the chance for a counter attack. It is effective in dealing with those who will not get knocked out with one move.

Stage 2 Totsu-Shin-Jutsu
Chuunin

To attack immediately and just wield the sword once, that is Totsu-Shin-Jutsu. At this stage, the user can predict an opponents moves almost a full second fatser than a normal person. The user may also focus their chakra to the front or back of their foot to boost speed to help their legs keep up with dodging and movement. To master this stage, the practitioner must learn all techniques as well as be in a single fight/spar for at least 10 posts.

Techniques:

Ryu-Tsui-Sen (Dragon Mallot Flash):
This move is like a Dragon diving into its opponent from the sky and hammering down with a vertical slash by using its weight.

Ryu-Kan-Sen Tsumuji (Dragon Wind Up Flash Hair-spin):
Ryu-Kan-Sen-Tsumuji is another variety of Ryu-Kan-Sen. It begins by dashing into an opponent without gravity and at a tremendous speed. After getting into position beside your opponent, a Ryu-Kan-Sen will be performed. The damage is more powerful than Ryu-Kan-Sen, due to its speed. However, landing poses a problem due to its speed.

Ryu-Sho-Sen (Dragon Rising Flash):
This move is like a dragon that lifts up into the air with the blade of the sword attacking its opponent's vital points with the force of its jump. It is the perfect counter attack against opponents attacking from above, or even when crouching down.

Stage 3 Battoujutsu
Jounin

The third part is called Battoujutsu, the reason for this is that the techniques in this stage expand on the first technique the practioner learned, the Instant Draw Strike or Battoujutsu. Taking a huge step up the user can predict half as well as the sharingan and muscle reaction is instant, gaining 2.5 seconds, making fights with other taijutsu users a breeze. The user has now gained enough control of chakra to release it throughout every limb as this helps their body keep up with their mind, making predictions about the enemy. This makes it easy to counter attacks. To master this stage, the practioner must learn all the techniques as well as be in two fights/spars of at least 15 posts.

Hi-Ryu-Sen (Flying Dragon Flash):
This move may be accomplished using the left hand only. As you twist your body around in the air while launching yourself at the opponent, the sword is sprung from the sheath with the left hand coupled with the centrifugal force, so the key here is to aim the hilt of the sword at your opponent's weak point, like between the eyes in order for the slash to connect.

Sou-Ryu-Sen (Paired Dragon Flash):
Sou-Ryu-Sen is one of the variaties of Battoujutsu. Sou-Ryu-Sen contains double attack with the sword and the sheath. It is best used when the sword is blocked then without moment of waste, the second Battou-Jutsu using the sheath will strike the opponent, quite a bone breaker.

Stage 4 Ama-Kakeru-Ryu-No-Hirameki
Saanin

The final stage of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu can only be taught by the Master of this style, and teaching it to the pupil will mean almost certain death to the Master, which is the reason why there has never been more than one master of this style at a time. At this point, the practioner's reflexes are so extraordinary that the user's body moves even before the target moves their muscles. The user can force a large amount of chakra out their limbs, their hands move fast enough to confuse the enemy by making twices as many hand signs in half the time. Also by using this same concept, the practioner can move at such speeds, that the user simply dissapears from sight. Only the most experienced of sharingans are able to follow this individuals movement.

Ku-Zu-Ryu-Sen (9 Headed Dragon Flash): This is a move that was taught before the succession technique. It is to wield the sword nine times from nine different directions at once and strike all nine vital points instantly:
Kara Take: Head
Kesa Giri: Left Shoulder
Saka Gesa: Right Shoulder
Shita Ina: Left Wrist
Migi Nari: Right Wrist
Hidaki Kiriagi: Left Waist
Migi Kiriagi: Right Waist
Saka Kaze: Between the Legs
Tsuki: Chest
Because of that, it is nearly impossible to dodge or to defend against every sword strike, since at least one strike is bound to hit, especially if defending with a single weapon. According to Hiko, since this move is nearly impossible to be avoided or blocked, the only way to break it is by making one's move before one's opponent uses the 9 Headed Dragon Flash, i.e. by using a Battoujutsu which surpasses the "God-like Speed". This is the technique used to teach the Final Technique.

Ama-Kakeru-Ryu-No-Hirameki (Heaven's Soaring Dragon Flash):
The succession technique. The secret of the Ama-Kakeru-Ryu-No-Hirameki is revealed by Soujirou after his last fight with Kenshin. Normally, when using the Battou-Jutsu, the right leg is placed in front of the left leg so to avoid cutting your own leg (since the sword is at the left side). However, at the very last moment of attack, the user places his LEFT leg in front of his RIGHT leg before drawing his sword, thus bringing the speed and might of the sword to its very maximum. At that very moment, he must calculate the MOMENT of attack and how to twist his body properly in order not to cut himself. To do this, he must possess a strong desire to live. It is the fastest swordskill known to man, dodging this technique is nearly impossible. In addition, if the initial strike is avoided or blocked, the force of the unusually fast slashing motion displaces the air around it, generating a vacuum in its wake and sucking the opponent in; as this happens, the body is spun around for a second strike, with the previous action adding force and momentum to the swing, making the subsequent strike far stronger. This technique takes a heavy toll on the body since it was designed for someone with a wide-framed muscular build. Meaning that if this does not apply, then the practioner can only perform this technique once a day...if performed twice, the user will no longer be able to move for several days.

Shuntensatsu
Instant Heaven Kill
User Image

History: This was a style that was created based off of Battojutsu; or known as techniques for engaging a sword. Shuntensatsu, or the Instant Heaven kill, is a technique that utilizes the combination of Battojutsu and Shukuchi. Shukuchi, which means reduced earth, utilizes such powerful speed that it appears that the distance between two fighters has shrunk, hence the name reduced earth.

Being a street uchin and practically living in the training grounds the boy had much time on his hands. So even before he applied as an Academy student he had started working with the sword the Hokage gave him. During this time, he made an unorthodox style until one day an old man watched him. He started to teach the boy the true and actual method of using the blade in the way of Battojutsu. One he noted the Zin was catching good enough he ended the training and told the boy to take what he learned and make up his own style. Through this, Zin made 'Shuntensatsu'. Zin made this move to utilize speed to the next level.

Training Methods: Before each level of Shukuchi can be achieved, the practioner must spend time killing off their emotions. A huge part in making this style so powerful is to surprise their enemy by not letting them sense neither killing intent nor their fighting spirit. To do so takes much meditation (5 posts before each level). Also, each stage can not be achieved through regular means of training. To attain each stage, the practioner must be in physical combat with another shinobi, wether it is in actual mortal combat or mere spars. Genin=5 posts between each rpc each. Chuunin=8 posts between each rpc each. Jounin=12 posts between rpc each. Saanin=15 posts between rpcs each.

[Requirements to obtain]
*Must learn it from the master/creator of the style(( Which is Currently Zin Naga))
*You must have a sword of modest length. (Meaning the length of your arm and maybe a few inches longer. The move requires finesse not strength.)
*Must become a ninja dedicated mostly to swordsmanship

[Rules]
*Must be have a char. dedicated to swordsmanship.
*There will be the use of the PA(Post Action System) for the ultimate move.
*Must learn to reduce and suppress emotions.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Stages of the style]
4 Stages

[Stage One]
Rank:Genin
[Techniques]

Name of Technique:Three steps below Shukuchi
Type of Technique:Battojutsu
Technique Descritpion: The user feints. The only thing seen is their feet running at them. The attack will usually only come from one or two directions: Right or left. The move is initiated by tapping their running foot on the ground; the foot will noticably speed up until the user wishes to initiate the technique. A shinobi with equal speed or a lesser doujutsu will be able to keep up with the attacker.
Range: From the user to the attacker.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Stage Two]
Rank:Chuunin
[Techniques]
Name of Technique:Two steps under Shukuchi
Type of Technique:Battojutsu
Technique Descritpion: This attack is similar to Three Steps except for three properties. The first is that after they have tapped their foot to the speed they will use,instead of using the tapped foot to initate the move the user will hop onto the other foot and initate the attack.The user once again 'feints' but instead of his feet showing,the direction he goes will have a split the ground moves upon. A shinobi of equal or greater rank, or a doujutsu will be able to keep up with this technique.
Range: Same as last
[Stage Three]
Rank:Jounin
[Techniques]
Name of Technique: One Step under Shukuchi
Type of Technique: Battojutsu
Technique Descritpion: The user will begin hopping on their main foot, then switch to the opposite, then go back to their original foot and take off. During this technique, the user is able to attack from an omni-directional angle, utilizing not only horizontal but veritical space. Only a shinobi of equal speed or greater may be able to counter this technique.
[Stage Four]
Rank: Sanin
[Techniques]
Name of Technique:'True Shukuchi' or Shuntensatsu
Type of Technique:Battojutsu
Technique Descritpion:
During this technique there is no trace of where he is. The attack,the movement is completely unknown to the opponent until he is struck.The user's speed is so fluent and nimble at this level that there is no trace on the ground giving an indication of where they might be. This technique gives you speed greater than that of a saanin, giving you the speed of a SS rank shinobi.
*Note:To be fair,you will have to engage in the PA system. Meaning you will pick a number 50-100 as well as your opponent. Whoever gets the highest number will decide the outcome.
*Additional Notes just in case:
-the rank of the Rpc plays a huge role in the Shukuchi.
- Only people with visional Kekkei Genaki's that can read chakra,and can see the moves to a certain extent. Meaning that the defender will have a chance to block,if they are the same level as him or higher,the fatal blow. But those higher can block it a LITTLE bit easier.
-But,the true Shukuchi cannot be blocked unless the person has mastered the strongest level of their Visual Kekkei Genaki and are of the same level as him they will have a chance to block it.
-A shinobi who has given their life to the sword will be able to fight on par with the Shukuchi
I figured it was about time someone made a style for Jūken
Jūken (Gentle Fist)
Precise, Quick, Fluid
User ImageUser Image
User Image
Jūken, or the Gentle Fist style, is the fighting style utilized by Hyuuga clan members, it is the strongest style of Konoha. The Byakugan has a penetrating ability to see the tenketsu, the internal chakra coils system 361 pressure points. The clan member can use their fingers or palms to emit chakra to flow into their opponents body's at these precise points. When the hand draws close enough to strike, the clan member can stop or increase their opponents chakra flow. The internal chakra coils which spread throughout the body also wrap around the internal chakra producing organs. So if the internal coils are attacked, it also damages these internal organs. Because a ninja can not train their internal body, such damage can be a critical hit for even a highly skilled ninja.
Rules
- Must be a Hyuga clan member with the byakugan
- The Tenketsu cannot be struck without the byakugan being active
- Branch family members are not actually allowed to learn the higher forms of Jūken, they can only be taught up to stage four of the style before they must either "try and develop their own style" (like what Neji did), or they could try and steal the scrolls necessary to learn the higher stages.
- To proceed to the next stage, any abilities from the current stage the practitioner is on must be learned.
General Fighting Style
Jūken utilizes open palm thrusts and precise strike with the middle and forefinger. The basic stance of the style is primary arm outstretched, with the palm facing the opponent, while the secondary arm is cocked to the side with the palm facing to the up; the primary leg is positioned to the front with the foot cocked slightly to the side while the secondary foot is held back with the foot placed perpendicular to the direction you’re facing. Blocks and parries involve sweeping motions with the arms that aim to push the opponents strikes away from the body while opening them up for attack.
Training Methods
At earlier stages the user simply focuses on proper forms, learning to fall into the proper stances and react in the appropriate ways to attacks. Once the basics of the style are mastered the user begins to train diligently in precise chakra control, learning the precise amount of chakra necessary to cut off or increase the chakra flow of struck Tenketsu.
-----------------------------------------
Genin
- Stage One -
The user is instructed in the basic forms of the style, from the basic stance, to the correct way to position ones fingers or palms for precise strikes. The user is drilled constantly in the forms, simply practicing moving from one form to the other in a very stylized and structured manner. At this stage the user is only slightly more capable than the average genin, not able to deliver strikes with the precision of those that have learned the higher stages of the style.
Genin
- Stage Two -
Once the basic forms of the style have been drilled into the student sufficiently the next level of training can begin, fluidity of motion. Up to this point the user has only learned how to move from form to form in a precise rigid manner, but at this stage they are taught to move in a more fluid manner. At this point the student is learning Jūken in much the same way the practitioner of Tai Chi would learn their style, utilizing slow and precise movements in order for their muscles to learn how to move instinctively in combat. In combat the practitioner uses these skills quickly, relying on muscles memory to react to attacks rather than having to think about the action. The user is much more capable by the end of this stage, though they would still have trouble against higher ranking shinobis.
Maneuvers learned:
Sweeping block- The user has learned the proper manner of blocking by simply redirecting a blow rather than trying to stop it. The practitioner uses this concept to effectively maneuver themselves into a position to strike back at their opponent after successfully sweeping the opponents strike aside.
Genin
- Stage Three -
At this stage the user builds upon their previous lessons by moving in the same fluid motions but at a much quicker pace. They generally train against dummies that are marked with small marks that pinpoint the pressure points of the body in order to teach the student the precision necessary to utilize the higher stages of this style. Most teachers will teach their students the hand-seals necessary to activate their byakugan at this stage, though some still follow the tradition of forcing the student to activate it out of desperation. By the end of this stage the user is truly formidable in comparison to others of his rank.
Maneuvers learned:
Pressure Point Strike- because of the users training in precise striking, practitioners of this style learn to strike at the pressure points of opponents in quick precise movements. Usually this simply causes more pain than anything, but with a well placed strike the user can render whole limbs useless. (any limbs that are are struck correctly cannot be used for two posts due to the sheer pain it causes)
-----------------------------------------
Chunin
- Stage Four -
This is the first stage that actually requires the use of the byakugan as it teaches the user to strike at the Tenketsu. The practitioner is taught not only how to strike with speed and precision at the Tenketsu, but they are also taught the precise chakra control necessary to cut off or increase the chakra flow of the chakra point struck. In order to train these skills the practitioner trains either on a live subject (though few masters still do this), or they train on a special training dummy that was developed by the hyuga. The dummy can be infused with a small amount of chakra by either the master or the student, and by doing so the dummy will mimic the Tenketsu, allowing the student to train freely on the dummy for hours at a time without having to strike a real person.
Maneuvers learned:
Tenketsu Strikes- The practitioner has learned to strike at their opponents internal chakra coil, and in so doing they can cut off or increase the flow of the chakra point struck. In addition because of the close relation between the Tenketsu and chakra producing organs, if the Tenketsu are struck it will also cause damage to internal organs.
Abilities:
Eight Trigrams Empty Palm
Rank: D
Description: This jutsu is the basis of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, but has a specific target rather than a general area. To perform it, the user does a palm thrust, shooting a concentrated force of chakra out of his hand, to violently push their opponent away.
Chuunin
- Stage Five -
Once the user is comfortable with striking the inner chakra coil they can be taught the higher forms of the style. Up to this point practitioners of this style are only taught the basics of the style in order to develop the skills necessary to perform the higher ranking techniques. This stage teaches the user to strike at the tenketsu rapidly in order to cause massive amounts of damage as well as cut off their opponent's chakra completely. This stage of training drastically increases the speed of the user, putting them on par with most shinobi of higher rank in terms of speed.
Abilities:
Hakke Rokujūyon Shō(Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)
Rank: D
Description: This jutsu closes off sixty-four specific chakra points on an opponent's body with the gentle fist, effectively eliminating their ability to use chakra for quite some time and making it quite difficult for them to move. It begins with the closing of two chakra points, followed by four more, then eight, then sixteen, then thirty-two, and then sixty-four strikes. Each set of strikes is done at an increasing pace.
Chuunin
- Stage Six -
At this point in the practitioner's training they focus solely on chakra control, learning to release chakra not only from the tips of their fingers and hands, but from all of their chakra points. This level of chakra control also allows the user to increase the power and speed of their strikes by supplying chakra to their limbs in the proper way. At this stage the power of the practitioner’s strikes is significantly increased simply because of the precise application of chakra behind each strike.
Maneuvers learned:
Burst of Chakra- Utilizing their formidable chakra control the practitioners of Jūken can increase their speed and power for short periods of time. This maneuver which utilizes the same amount of chakra as a Chuunin level technique doubles the speed and power of the user for just one post, allowing them to close the distance between their enemy and strike. This technique takes almost no time to perform as it simply sends a surge of chakra throughout the users body in such a way that it strengthens muscles. (C rank chakra consumption)
Abilities:
Hakkeshō Kaiten(Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin)
Rank: C
Description: This jutsu utilizes the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from the user's chakra points when struck. The released chakra blocks any possible attack. The user then spins themselves rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any would-be attackers.
Hakke Hyaku Nijūhachi Shō(Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms)
Rank: C
Description: This jutsu is essentially a doubled version of Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Like the former, it closes off the opponent's chakra points. Unlike the former, it closes off twice as many (12 cool at twice the speed. Alternatively, it can be used to hit a great number of targets very quickly.
-----------------------------------------------
Jounin
- Stage Seven -
By this stage of the training the practitioner is already a force to be reckoned with, they are even dangerous enough to pose a threat to shinobi of higher rank due to their ability to completely cut off the flow of chakra. This stage of the training focuses on combining the principles of defense and offense teaching the student to block and counter even more effectively.
Maneuvers:
Sweeping Counter- Utilizing the basic principles of the sweeping block and the chakra burst, the practitioner can parry an opponents attack and strike multiple times from a seemingly impossible angle. The user successfully blocks and then uses an advanced chakra burst that takes up the same level of chakra as a Jounin level technique, to maneuver so quickly around the opponent that they can strike from behind their opponent. (B rank chakra consumption)
Jounin
- Stage Eight -
This stage further applies the principle of building upon what the user has already learned, teaching them to use their amazing chakra control and advanced taijutsu training to perform devastating attacks that can be used both offensively and defensively.
Abilities:
Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō(Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms")
Rank: B
Description: This jutsu is a combination of the Eight Trigram Palms Heavenly Spin and the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. In this jutsu, the user emits a constant stream of chakra from their palms, creating extremely sharp chakra blades. With the users amazing flexibility, they can reach any point around themselves, allowing them to hit any target within their field of vision. While using this jutsu, user moves extremely fast, allowing them to hit hundreds of targets with extreme precision, much like the original Sixty-Four Palms jutsu. Additionally, they can control the size of the chakra beams in their palms, allowing them to create larger, arc-shaped chakra beams that spread out across her entire attack range. This creates an "absolute defense" effect similar to that of the Heavenly Spin, though the cutting nature of the chakra prevents any outside force from restricting it. In this way, the technique can be used as both an offensive and defensive maneuver.
Hakke Kuushou - Eight Divination Signs Air Palm
Rank: B
Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm at his target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock his opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.
Hakke Hasangeki - Eight Divination Signs Destructive Mountain Fist
Hakke Hasangeki is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm into his target. This will send out a wave of chakra that will knock his opponent backwards into nearby rock to cause further damage. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.
--------------------------------------------
Kage/Sannin
- Stage Nine -
The final stage of the style, at this point the user is no longer truly learning anything new so much as they have reached an understanding of gentle fist that makes them significantly more dangerous. They have come to a point where they can manipulate their chakra in ways they never thought possible, using all that they have learned up to this point to create one of the most effective and deadly styles in the known shinobi world.
Abilities:
Eight Trigrams Ultimate Wind
Rank: A
Description: The user uses Air Palm thrice on his opponent, sending them crashing into a plateau of stone, before using it again to collapse the plateau on the opponent.
Eight Trigrams Crumbling Mountain Bombardment
Rank: A
Description: The strikes the enemy's vital area while discharging their chakra within the enemy's body until it bursts from the back in the form of a small thin beam that rapidly enlarges into a massive mountain-destroying wave of chakra. This technique seals off tenketsu.
Eight Trigrams Palm Heavenly Spin Absolute
Rank: A
Description: This jutsu is simply a larger, more powerful version of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin.
True Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms
Rank: S
Description: A combination of the original Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, the Sweeping Conter, and the Eight Trigrams Empty Palm technique, the user leaps forward and strikes the enemy several times in the front before dashing behind them. He strikes several more times until using an Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin-like strike to launch the enemy into the air. There the user appears over the opponent and strikes them several more times before hitting them once more with a huge amount of chakra, blasting them into the ground in with a beam of chakra. Assuming the opponent is even able to get back up after this assault, their chakra flow will be completely cut off for five posts.
so basically maneuvers would be things that the user learns as a result of the training and then abilities are something that would have to be learned individually. In other words if I can complete the training for stage four I automatically get the Tenketsu Strikes maneuver, but I would then have to make write additional posts to learn the eight trigrams empty palm.
So... Much... Ruroni Kenshin gonk jk, Samurai X is awesome
Zane: I guess my concern is the sharingan like capabilities of the style, and the idea that even the sharingan can't keep up with people that have mastered the fourth stage.
1. I think that the ability to read movement as well as perhaps the one tomoe sharingan at the third stage, and perhaps as well as the two tomoe sharingan at the fourth stage.
2. I'll say that perhaps the final stage allows the user to move quickly enough that the two tomoe sharingan cannot keep up (assuming of course the sharingan user in question doesn't have speed that is close to or equal to the practitioner of the styles own), and perhaps the three tomoe sharingan even has some trouble doing so, but I don't want anyone to really be able to move so quickly that they can negate the abilities of the sharingan, not even the Butoukai Sono Raijin (which is specifically supposed to be the single fastest style ever created) doesn't give the ability to move fast enough to negate the sharingan, and to maintain the speed to actually do so causes tremendous strain on the body.
Panthers: alright well the idea that an attack is unblockable without possessing a doujutsu is a definite no, but mostly I guess I'm just not sure what the techniques actually do a lot of the time, does it basically allow for the user to flash-step?
1. I don't think not once does it say that the sharingan can't keep up with this style. In fact, I didn't use this style to combat the sharingan, I'm using it to combat the Hidden Mist swordstyle and its eigth stage ^_^ I believe that the 8th stage is a slight bit faster yet thanks to its sharingan ability to predict movements, it is on equal par
2. Regarding Panthers's did you read the black version of it or the blue one? cause the blue one is the revised version
Panthers: alright well the idea that an attack is unblockable without possessing a doujutsu is a definite no, but mostly I guess I'm just not sure what the techniques actually do a lot of the time, does it basically allow for the user to flash-step?
Lol xp But yea in a sense it is sort of like that. But it's more like feiting because a flash step consists of very few movements to get to A to B. The Shukuchi is actual steps with the blinding speed that matches up to Shunpo. Then there is a brief pause between the end of the steps and the attack;which as said will either be right or left.
*Except for the final attack.Which is sorta self explanatory. =^^=
Zane: I think I must have mis-read the description of the final stage I thought it said, "Not even the sharingan can keep up with the movement" rather than, "Only the most experienced of sharingans are able to follow this individuals movement." My mistake.
And yes I did read the revised version of Panthers, which brings up Panther's
Panther: I suppose the thing that needs to be kept in mind, and this really goes for any situation in which people are attempting to move so fast that their movement can't be tracked, is that people with speed that is equivalent to your own will of course be able to keep up with your movements, even without the use of doujutsu.
But alright, the only thing that I immediately see as a something that needs to change is the whole rolling to see if the attack of the final stage can hit. If the person has a good reason as to why they can keep up with the movement and a good reason as to why they can guard against it, then they guard against it, just like with anything else. If they can't then they can't, end of story.
I'll still keep the PA system though just in case. But I can see what your coming from as long as it's a very good reason with blocking it. Because I absolutely hate when people have a crazy way of stopping your strongest technique. >.< (())
1. Oh yeah, I edited that before you even posted rofl . So it's okay?
And regarding Panther's...here's the scenario:
Haseo and Zin are both intertwined in battle, both of them have mastered their own swordstyle and both of them have equal speed. Haseo performs the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki while he performs Shuntensatsu. Both attacks hit...who comes out on top? I kinda liked the number thing ^_^
Yea that's another really good example of why I wanna keep the PA system. When two attacks of equal value clash together. =^.^= But hey,are either of you over the Custom Weapons? I wanna see if my profile so far is alright. Can't really think up of a rp scene;have done too many long profile creations X3
for these styles, do we have to post us learning these or can we just know them? I'm a hyuga is why I was asking. I didn't know if it was a form I had to develop or not.... gah I suck at this fighting stuff.
Silence: yes you absolutely have to learn these styles, though if there aren't any actual masters of it (which seeing as how these are custom styles there should definitely be no masters of the styles) then your character can either "develop it themselves" or be taught by an NPC, also did you apply for hyuuga, because I don't remember approving you for it
Zane: yeah I guess it's approved, and can I get an official ruling on whether or not the Juken style is approved?
Panthers: I guess I see where you're coming from, as long as it's not something that allows you to have a chance to auto-hit, which is what I thought when I read it
