Abel smiled at Talen and shrugged slightly. Then the other man closed his eyes and started to wish, before Leah yelled at him. Abel snorted slightly and tilted his head. At Talen's wish he smiled weakly and looked away. He hadn't thought about Talen and Mei earlier. But it dawned on him that it probably wasn't really as good as he'd originally thought. Mei wasn't exactly the settling type. He had seen many 'love interests' come and go in her life.
He was shaken out of his thoughts as Leah started to speak. He looked down at her, staring at her with surprise. He opened his mouth and then closed it. A sad smile came to his face and he breathed out of his nose. "You should have wished for yourself..." He said quietly, looking strangely old for a minute before looking away. "But...thank you..."
At her sudden demand he frowned in concentration. "Hmmm..." He put a hand to his chin and looked down at his feet. He then looked upwards. "I wish that no matter what happens, no matter what life brings you two, and everyone else, that everyone is able to be happy, and live their lives fully and entirely." He paused, gaze shifting to the side in hesitation. "I wish...everyone will find their purpose..." He became quiet and then looked over at the two beside him.
He smiled and it looked like the slightest breeze would take it off his face. "The sun's setting..." He mentioned, motioning towards the sky where the sun was very close to the horizon.
((Awwww. How sentimental and deep!))
Gabriel looked down at the paper when David took it and fixed the grass for him. Gabriel took it and grinned at him. "It's the best thing I've ever drawn. When you're my age you can rub it in my face that you're a ton better than me. I know when you're that old, you'll be the best artist. Even better than Michael Angel." He winked and then started to stand. "We should show these to your mom. I bet she'll like that."
"You want a piggy back ride down to her?"

((WHEEEE.... Oh yeah. THESE KIDS ARE SO DEEP.))
Leah just kept on smiling for Abel. "It was MY wish. I did what I wanted to do with it." She laughed. "I don't really need anything." And she meant that.
Talen seemed solemnly quiet when all the wishes were finally made. However, then he laughed. "Way to make me look SELFISH, guys. Can I do my wish over? Maybe I could wish for world peace." He joked.
Leah frowned at him. "I said you made a good wish! It WAS!" She said earnestly. She turned back to Abel and smiled very gently. She took his hand briefly and squeezed it and then she whirled away from both of them. "Let's go see those lights!"
Talen grinned. "Yes ma'am." He said of her and trudged after her through the snow. He looked back at Abel. "You know. I hope it works." He said. "I really hope it does." And he meant it for everything. He knew Mei wouldn't be with him just because he wished it as much as Abel's wish would help them find what they were looking for in life, but he'd like to think it'd helped. And maybe it did.
"Come ON!" Leah cried happily. "You guys are KILLING me walking so SLOW!"
((lololol, done.))
David smiled broadly. "Okay." He said. "When I get to be 10 I bet I'll already be famous." And then he giggled and grabbed up their drawings.
"YES! YES!" He cried and scrabbled onto his back while he was still sitting. "IT'S LIKE RIDING A MOUNTAIN!"
((hahaha, Oh David. You silleh.))

((Haha WOW today was so hectic and wonderful! That's why I didn't post...cause I was running around...ALL DAY...and hanging out...ALL NIGHT...till four...which is now. But I am not tired and felt like POSTING.))
Abel smiled weakly at Talen's comment and shook his head. "It wasn't a selfish wish...it was good. Really." He nodded assuringly at his friend and then looked at Leah when she squeezed his hand. He blinked, unsure of what to do, but before he could say or do anything she was running away again. "Yeah. Lights!" He exclaimed oddly, as if that made up for his lack of reaction.
He then looked at Talen and he smiled, nodding. "I never believed in wishes coming true. What I think makes it happen, is someone's faith and determination to make it come true. If you really want it, and do everything in your power to get it...it will be given to you." He said, voice sure and steady, as though it were the most true thing he could have said, anytime, anywhere. With another nod he looked up and laughed at Leah.
"Right! I usually don't walk slow you know..." He said, jogging to get to her. He scratched his head and grinned. "It's hard to talk and walk at the same time...or maybe it's just me..." After an awkward pause he looked away and took to walking fast. "Let's see those LIGHTS guys." He declared, like it hadn't been said nearly enough.
((Hahaha it's just you. And Abel is awkward around girls he kind of likes. Haha. Never got a chance to show it, but I can just imagine it...not knowing what to do or say...EVER. Haha how cute.))
Gabriel gave out a laugh and stood up with David on his back. "Hold on tightly. I don't want to have to explain to your mom why I dropped you..." He said, although he knew he'd never drop the boy, it just added more excitement for the child on his back. He promptly left the room, holding their drawings in his hands, and went to the kitchen again, galloping a little down the stairs to bounce David around.
"Oh Alice! Alice!" He called, somewhat singing and talking at the same time. He peaked around the corner and he saw her. He gave her a wide, flashing smile and walked over to her. "David wanted to show you these. He DEMANDED I show you it. I had nothing to do with this plan. He even forced me to draw a picture...it was terrible. What a tyrant this kid."
((I love when Gabriel acts young. Hahaha. Children bring it out of him.))

((Hahaha, well I'M GLAD YOU HAD AN EXCELLENT TIME. And even in your busy schedule you made time to make such a pretty post D:. You never cease to amaze me!!! *gaaasp!*))
Talen looked back at Abel and nodded, an understanding smile. "I better get to work then, huh?" He placed his hands deep in his pockets and trailed after the pair, eyes up.
Leah just jokingly rolled his eyes at Abel. "SURE. Okay." She smiled. "I mean, I kinda have to believe you... you may not walk fast, but you sure can run." She giggled to herself and then more so at his awkward pause. "You're cute." She said bluntly.
"Oh, I know." Talen said. "Adorable." He waggled his eyebrows at his friend and all together they walked to see the lights.
It was a park that was decorated every year, every bare tree to every naked bush. The play-set was done up with all colours, the bridges and all the gazeboes. The snow that had begun to fall took up a more steady fall, covering the earth softly in white and the coloured lights all glowed more intently bringing colour to a usually colourless season. The houses around had taken up the same idea of decorating their front lawns, their front doors and porch railings. The sight was easily breath taking, and Leah put her hands over her mouth, smiling just beneath the fabric of her gloves.
"Happy now?" Talen asked of her.
Leah could only nod.
Talen grinned, standing back to look. "What do you think, Abel?"
((hahaha, LIIIIGHTS. I LIIIKE THE LIIIIGHTS.))
David, as always, gave joyful whoops and hollars as he was jostled around coming down the stairs. He clung tightly to Gabriel's shirt and shoulders as they came around, finding his mother in the kitchen. She turned to them smiling gently, her eyebrow slightly quirked at Gabriel as he peered around a corner before emerging. The sight of him had to make her laugh, him and her son, eyes wide.
"Oh?" She said of him and looked to her son who just giggled happily. "These are BEAUTIFUL." She said to David and moving around she kissed her son sloppily on his cheek so that he giggled and flailed at her.
"Noooo!" He was saying, but he reached out to hug her around her neck gently.
"Are these for Abel?" She said taking them carefully into her hands. "He'll LOVE them."
"What about GABE!? WHAT ABOUT GABE?!" David said, pointing to Gabe's cheek.
Alice laughed and standing on her toes gave him a kiss too and patted him on the shoulder. "If it weren't for Abel I'd hang them up on my FRIDGE." She smiled at them both. "MY little men."

Abel glanced at Leah when she said he was cute. He turned to Talen at his comment and he made an embarrassed face. Quickly looking away he gave a shrug and rubbed at his nose which was becoming cold. "Thanks..." He said quietly.
He remained quiet until they reached the park. He stood still, not showing any emotion until he rubbed his hair, pushing snow away from his head. His smiled crept across his face slowly. After a few moments he walked further in, his mouth parted like a child on Christmas morning.
When Talen asked what Abel thought, the angel turned at him, his mouth opened wider, then turned away. "It's so gorgeous! It's like a dream land! Wow! This must have taken a lot of work for them to do! Look at everything! Are those swings?!" He yelped and ran over to them. He seemed more happy about the swings than the actual lights. "Oh woooow. I haven't swung in ages." He said to himself and sat down on one.
Before any time passed he was pushing himself back and forth, looking around him in awe. He slowed down and seemed to finally see Leah, he got off the swing and waved her over. "You want to swing?" He asked.
((Hahaha. Swings beat lights man! But yeah I love lights too!))
Gabriel put the boy down onto the ground as Alice examined the pictures. He gave a smile when David was kissed and he nodded. "I told him Abel would love them too. I really think he's going to keep them with him forever." He then looked at David when the kid asked Alice to kiss him too. Gabriel raised his brows at the woman. "Yeah, what about me?" He said playfully.
When Alice kissed his cheek he laughed softly and put a hand on his hip. "Good thing your husband's not home, he might get jealous of you dishing out your kisses like this." He said before taking a seat at the table again. "I don't think anyone's called me little since I was three years old."
((He was a BIG BABY. Not really. I can imagine him being short and then all of a sudden sprouting like crazy in his teens...))

((THESE ARE SWINGS WITH LIGHTS... Man... that'd be awesome. It'd be like you were going LIGHT SPEED on the swings.))
Talen watched Abel carefully for his reaction. Leah too seemed to be waiting for the moment when he smiled and when it came she was smiling twice as hard.
"I KNOW!" Leah cried at his exclamation and promptly began to do a mix of spinning and dancing through the snow, chasing her own footsteps in the gathering white.
Talen stood back watching the pair with amusement in his eyes. Leah stopped spinning breathless with laughter to look at Abel at his request. Her face already flushed from the cold turned a shade pink and she was smiling so happily it sort of made her face hurt, but she was enjoying herself too much to mind.
"YES!" She all but shouted and stumbled over to the blonde, falling into the swing next to him. "Do you want me to push you?" She asked, already rocking herself gently with her feet. "I do a mean under dog!"
Talen cracked up. "Kids." He said. "I can't take you anywhere."
((hahahaahhaah, I think I love them.))
Alice arched an eyebrow and cocked out her hip. "You just not better be telling him what I've been doing." She said of Gabriel. "I'll make up for it when he gets home, won't I?" And David made a face.
"Ew." He said.
Alice giggled and then looked up at Gabriel. "Well. There you are, Gabe. Whatcha goin' do about it, huh? Short stuff."
"UMMM!" David said and scrambled into a kitchen chair to make himself taller and thusly a bigger part of the conversation. "Are you making Abe a cake?" He said.
Alice nodded and then looked back to Gabriel. "What kind does he like? Do you know? Does he LIKE cake?"

Abel smiled widely as Leah stumbled over to the swings. He gave a little laugh at her mishap as she fell into the swing. At her question, he looked at her. "Push me? No thanks..." He said politely. He turned his head to look at Talen and he motioned his friend over. "Come here. You should swing. I've always felt like it was the next best thing to flying. As a kid it is the closest you can get." He said, still smiling as he pushed back and forth.
"Everything looks better in winter when it snows..." He said mostly to himself, gazing at everything around him as he moved back and forth on the swing, his scarf lifting in the air when he moved upward. At that time the sun had all but disappeared behind the horizon, leaving the sky barely light enough to still make out objects in the distance.
((lalala. I'm debating on making something happen, or waiting till the next day...))
Gabriel smirked at David's 'ew' and he nodded, "I agree, David." He said and looked back at Alice. "Well. Now that you ask, I could just pick you up, throw you outside, and lock you out. Don't be asking that stuff, I can easily over power you." He said with a sly look, he seemed ready to say more before David scrambled on the chair and interrupted.
"Cake? Abel?" He thought long and hard on the subject, his eyes narrowing. "I've never seen him eat dessert to be honest. But I do remember him talking about some German cake his mom made him for his sixth birthday. He said he never had anything as good. I think it was called black forest cherry cake. I know it was black forest something..." He rubbed his chin and nodded. "You could probably find the recipe online somewhere."
((I really want to make that cake now...it looks so delicious...German desserts are always so good.))

((Mmmmm... just cake in general is guten. GUTEN. And do what you will D:<<< IT'S UP TO YOU, SUNSHINE.))
Leah grinned. "Suit yourself. Your loss not mine!" She decided as she slowly pumped her legs to get herself going. She leaned back so her hair trailed after her.
Talen seemed a little hesitant at first to join them at the swings, but at his friends bidding he made his way over. He took the remaining open swing and settled himself. He laughed a little. "My a** is a LOT bigger than it used to be." He said as the seat, made for much smaller people, pinched at his rear end. "Frick." He laughed, but pumped his legs as well, giving Leah a look as she held hung off her swing, breathless with laughter.
"Glad you're so sensitive to my WEIGHT problem!" Talen said of her.
She shook her head, still trying to catch her breath. "I'm s-s-s-"
"I know... WE KNOW. You're s-s-s-sorry." He mocked, smiling. He leaned forward to look at Abel, slowly picking up speed. "There is one thing I love about winter, and that's snow. ONLY reason I like it." He leaned back as well, head tilted back. "I'll hafta have a snowball fight with David." He said off handedly.
Leah smiled, having gotten over her laughing fit. "And a snowman! And snow angels!"
"Abel would be good at those, I bet." He smiled at his friend.
((WHEEEEEE... AND HAHA, OH MY. ARE GABRIEL AND ALICE FLIRTING? UH. MISS. YOU'RE MARRIED. What a whore.... *cracks up*))
Alice nodded slowly as Gabriel informed her of Abel's favorite cake. She frowned little, but after a moment she was nodding more firmly. "Not a recipe I'm familiar with, but I'll get it done."
"Will it have a forest on it?" David wanted to know. "A FOREST CAKE."
"With a bear." Alice said.
David's eyes got wide and he looked up at Gabriel. "Wow. Abe has good taste."
Alice laughed at her son and kissed him ontop of his head. "You're my favorite son." She informed him.

((GUTEN TAG. Hahaha. My AP Economics teacher, on our last day of class, brought in German desserts. She's German. And they were delicious. They aren't overly sweet like a lot of American desserts, and they were so moist. MMMMMM. So good. So GUTEN. Haha. Yeah.))
Abel smiled over at Talen as he sat down and then snorted a bit as Leah started to laugh. He watched her and couldn't help but laugh with her. He pushed harder at the swing, gaining height. "Well. If you followed the kosher way of the Jewish people, maybe you wouldn't have that problem, eating bacon and ham. It's God's way of getting back at you." He said and laughed again.
At Talen's comment he looked over at him as he came backwards on the swing. "Snow angels? Yeah. I can just lay down and get up." He said, moving up into the air again. "I broke my arm jumping off a swing once...doctor fixed it...but he couldn't explain the other bruise on my back." He said randomly. At the very top of his swing he pushed himself away from the swing. A feeling of weightlessness came over him and he closed his eyes, for a brief second it felt like he could stay in the air.
Then he fell onto the ground, face planted into the snow. He sat there for a good few minutes, the cold ice on his skin. Slowly he sat up, a hand pulling snow with him. With his back turned to Leah and Talen, he rolled to balls of snow in his palms. As quick as he could, he jumped up, turned, and threw them at the two still on the swings.
Smirking he ran towards the nearest tree and got behind it, making more balls of snow.
((Haha. How FUN. Abel is being fun. We should take advantage of this moment. And YES. FLIRTING. Haha. Gabe's a little late. Better late then never!...kinda.))
"Supposedly it's not too sweet. That's why he probably likes it. He doesn't like really sweet things." Gabriel said, smiling at David's question. "Black Bears. Really big ones. Maybe some cubs too. But I would think they would be in hibernation..." He said.
"He does have good taste. It's a wonder he's skinny." He put a hand to his stomach, making a face. "I don't have good taste and I'm still fat." He joked. His blue eyes watched Alice kiss David's head and he smiled. After a moment he pointed to his own head. "Am I your favorite black guy?"
((You're MY favorite black guy!))

((ENCORE ENCORE! I'm posting again D:!!!!!! INCREDIBLE... and I'm jealous. I love cakeeeeee. Hahaha, and wtf, Abel. <3 ))
Leah covered her mouth at Abel's next remark, but it was obvious that once a more she was laughing. There were little tears in her eyes. Talen put a hand to his chest, swinging back and forth.
"ABEL. THAT. WAS. LOW." He cried. "So LOW. I'm going to go to cry myself to SLEEP tonight. Just bawl my EYES out." He sniffed.
Leah was hardly able to hold onto her swing and wavered dangerously into a tilt that nearly spilled her from her swing. Talen reached out with a hand to steady her. "Oh man! You're gonna kill her!" He laughed.
However, both of them watched as Abel leapt from the swing. There was that graceful moment where he seemed to hang in midair. Leah believed briefly that he actually was, but then the angel tumbled back to the ground and face planted. Leah cried out in a sharp gasp.
"OH!" She said, hands over her mouth.
Talen cracked up.
"OH!" Leah said again. "Is he ALRIGHT?!" She attempted to slow herself down on her swing, boots dragging in the slick snow. "OH!" She said again.
Talen just continued to laugh, but was stopped short at the sudden snowball lodged his way. He waved his arms, lost balanced, and tipped out of his swing backwards. Leah gave a little cry, but laughed at the snowball struck her on her arm which she had moved to protect her face.
Talen pulled himself up. "Oh man. You've done it NOW, Abel. You've done it NOW!" He pulled Leah out from the swing, hoisting her over his shoulder. "This means WAR!" And running, Leah laughing on his shoulder, they took refuge on the play-set, scooping up snow.
Leah was the first to lob back a snowball in Abel's direction, and she did it with amazing accuracy. Talen blinked.
"... You're so doomed, man. I got LEAH. Snow QUEEN."
((AND UMMMM. UUMMMM!!!!!!!!!! That's okay. Gabe is sexy. I'd flirt with him too. BABY. Gimmie some of that action.))
David seemed quite pleased at Gabriel's request. He was laughing happily and looked at his mother. Alice cocked out her hip, and rose a single eyebrow high upon her forehead. She was smiling just slightly.
"You're ONE of my favorite black guys." She said instead, smirking. She settled for patting him on shoulder instead. "Maybe another time, Gabe." She smiled for him.
David looked pouty. "You probably hurt his feelings, mom." He said.
"Yes. Well. He got his kiss for today. I only give out more than one for you and your daddy." She pinched David's nose and he grinned.
"I can help make the cake!" He said. "I'm going to find a bear!" And jumping down from his chair he took off.
Alice laughed after him and then looked back to Gabriel. "You're my favorite black guy." She said when her son had gone. "And I'm going to try and find that recipe." She said.

Abel was preparing a small mound of snowballs, his fingers getting numb, but he didn't mind. For once since he had come back he just felt happy, carefree, and at peace. There weren't worries and troubles brewing in his mind. It was a relief and all he wanted to do was have some fun.
He poked his head around the tree only to have a snowball hit him in the face. He gasped and hid back again. "That's not fair! I'm outnumbered then!" He exclaimed from his spot. He pulled his snowballs into his coat like a small cradle. As fast as he could, he ran across the open area and dove to a closer tree.
Throwing the balls to the ground he scooped some up and threw them towards Talen and Leah. "Since you have Leah, I think I should be able to do whatever I want." He said from behind the tree. He collected more balls. A smile crossed his face and he took off his scarf, tied it into a sling and placed his ammo into it so it was like a bag hanging from his shoulder.
Standing up he stepped into the opened and threw them at the two. He was still smiling as he disappeared again, moving in the opposite direction. "I've got a lot of experience!" He yelled as he vanished.
((Haha he's crazy! I bet he's got battle plans all figured out.))
Gabriel remained seated as Alice turned him down. He sighed and shook his head. "That's fine. I've been rejected many times before. Thousands even. You'd be surprised how many." He seemed upset and then glanced at David as he ran off. Gabriel laughed and then smiled over at Alice.
"I know I am." He said calmly. "I know all." He tapped his smooth head. "I bet he'll be really excited to have it. Abel likes saying he doesn't want anything, tries to be humble and modest, but I know he likes it when people do things for him anyways. He's complex." He laced his hands together.
"When does James get home anyways? I should probably get going before than. Don't want him to be suspicious. I seem to give off that energy." He said jokingly.
((Tall black guys do give off a suspicious energy...))

"That's just too BAD!" Talen cried at Abel's exclamation. "You should have thought about THAT before you messed with THIS GUY!" He said, pointing at himself... and then was promptly hit in the face and shoulder with snowballs. "BUH!" he cried.
Leah was crouched down, arms over her head and laughing.
"Why didn't you SAY SOMETHING?" And he crouched down himself.
She looked up at him. "I didn't want to interrupt." She smirked and then covered her head again as Abel let some more snowballs fly.
"NO MERCY!" Talen cried and stood up again, lobbing snowballs after Abel's heels, but the angel had made quick work of vanishing.
Leah slowly stood. "Where'd he go?"
"I dunno. He went NINJA on us." He scanned the surrounding area carefully.
Leah made more snowballs, tucking them into the pocket of her coat. "We're going to have to go out there."
"NO LEAH! IT'S DANGEROUS."
"We gotta go out there, Talen."
"I won't let you!"
Leah jumped off the play-set crying a war cry with snowballs in her fists.
"LEEEEAAAAH! IT'S SUICIDE!" Talen cried after her. He stood back. "Bravest girl I've ever met."
((hahahahahahahahahahahaha. OOOOOH man.))
Alice laughed. "Suspicious?" She shook her head. "We don't want that." She moved around the kitchen, taking of stock of what she had and might later need. "And his hours are all over the place. You know how it is with doctors." She smiled at Gabriel. "Always working."

Abel crept quietly around the playground, making his way towards the back of it, behind Talen and Leah. When he made it, he hid behind one of the benches, snowballs still placed in his scarf. At Leah and Talen's conversation, Abel put a hand to his mouth, withholding his laughter.
When Leah jumped off, Abel made his move. He moved quickly away from the bench. Without a sound, not even the crunch of snow, he climbed up to Talen, facing his back. "Look who I found." He said finally, laughing as he pushed a snowball on the top of Talen's head. He pulled back the man's jacket and slid a snowball down his back.
"Don't move, I've got you trapped." He said to his friend, snowballs in hand. He looked over to Leah and laughed a bit. "I've got your soldier hostage!" He declared. "Give up now or let him suffer a most brutal and tragic death. I'll do it too! Don't let my exterior fool you." He leaned in towards Talen and said, "when she gets closer, lets fire all we've got."
((I want to have a snowball fight now. Too bad all I have his damp soil and grass from the rain...))
Gabriel nodded apologetically and watched her move around the kitchen. "They've got it tough, I agree. But probably one of the most rewarding jobs. Even if sometimes it doesn't seem like it to them, there's always those patients that make everything worth it. They come close to taking my job away from me." He said with a smirk.
"But anyways..." He became more serious, smile fading. "How has everything been? I've been so busy that I haven't been able to check in as much. Everything okay with you?" He sat still, waiting for her to answer. He had taken it on himself to watch over the family. He knew that was why he had made Mei stay close by, but he would never shake the feeling of responsibility he felt for them.
"If there's anything I can do. Anything to help you, let me know. Doesn't matter what it is either."
((That's RIGHT Gabe!))

((Hahaha, these people are crazy. CRAZY. We should have them committed.))
Talen had done his best to search through the dark, but he seemed too amused to be serious about the whole matter. "FIND HIM, LEAH?" He called after the redhead.
She had stopped charging, snowballs still at the ready in her fists, but she looked back at Talen and shrugged. "He's GONE." She said in a dramatic voice and then: "TALEN OH NO WATCH OUT!"
"Wha- HOLY s**t!" Talen said laughing at Abel behind him, but he stopped laughing at what occurred next. There were quite a few foul words involved, a high screaming. "Have mercy!" He said, hands up. "C-c-cold!" The snowball in his jacket dripped down his back and made him shiver.
Leah put her hands over her mouth. "You MONSTER!" She cried. "Talen!" She called."Are you ALRIGHT?!"
"So... cold!" He moaned and he floundered like a wounded soldier. "I... I can see a light, Leah! I can see it! It's... so beautiful... and warm!"
"TALEN!" She shouted and shook her fists. "I will have VENGEANCE!" And she was charging forward again.
Talen laughed at his friend's remark in his ear. "We got her. No problem. Her anger has BLINDED HER REASON. I'm flattered, really."
((HAHAHA. They are so into this. wtf.))
Alice turned back to Gabriel at his more serious tone. Her smile fell a little and she shook her head. "Everything's been absolutely peachy." She said. "It's really funny you care so much." She laughed. "Besides David missing you when you're not around." She frowned a little, maybe feeling like she had said something strange.
"It's going like how it usually goes!" She said instead. "But we're fine. Thanks." She tilted her mouth. "You could maybe... help me make this cake?" She said, changing the subject to something light.

Abel blinked as Leah yelled. "Monster?" He echoed and looked at Talen. "I'm not a monster." He turned his head back at Leah as she shook her fists. "I'm just experienced and cunning!" He yelled back, trying not to burst out into laughter when Leah ran at him.
"Right." He said to Talen, snorting with his held back laughter. "She's kind of frightening..." he said before pulling snowballs out and starting to unleash all of them at her. "Let's subdue the beast!" He cried out, jumping from the playground and running to the side before she could catch him. As he ran he continued to throw snowballs at her.
"You should have given up when I offered!" He yelled over his fits of laughter. He jumped up onto a bench, snowballs in his hands, prepared to unleash them on his attacker. "You can still surrender. When she asked for him to help, he stood up, nodding. "I'll try. But I must warn you. I can't cook anything. I'm no Abel. I'll tell you that." He folded his arms across his chest. "What do you want me to do? Maybe something that I can't possibly mess up."
