I think I have an idea, but it will require people's participation to work. I've had this set of runes sitting around and recently I made a cloth for it and have been wanting to work with them more. The way I learned is to develop your own personal associations with each of the runes rather than use stock-guides and while I've done a few castings for myself, I'd love to experiment with other ways of casting and especially reading for someone other than myself. I would set up more instructions and such in a thread if this is what I end up doing.

Of course I'm tempted to cheat and just post up this immense amount of research I've already done on the Four Elements. There's one chunk left I need to do, but a month isn't going to be enough time (I was going to do this next summer when I think I'll have more time).

I'm not quite sure I have a "finishable" project... any of them.

1. On one front, I took up Tarot again. I am having difficulty finding people to do a reading for, however the people I did a reading for generally had something relevant that was accurate about them in the past. Given the nature I've learned of a tarot, the "future" is only a likely course of events were things to continue in the same manner. I also rely heavily on a book. It would take me about a month according to something I have to learn -all- of the meanings, but I also have a busy schedule.
2. The otherkin side of things, I'm still searching for a self meaning and looking inside. Nothing new has come up but I hope the Otherkin Meetup group I joined will help me out in the long run.
3. Seems mundane, but I have been wearing a fox tail on myself at work (and the manager is ok with that!!), and also recently in public. Amazingly I'm getting positive results. It started because I won the tail in a bet, and it just feels "right" to do. I'm seeing just what all this can lead to though in personal matters and otherwise.
4. I suspect my friends and I will go no further in time for a deadline, but we have been ghost and "manwolf" hunting for some weeks. No results on any front so far. Lots of interesting sightings of deer and foxes... but nothing else so far.
5. There is the minor energy work I've tried to do... I could see about improving that during break at work. I only got so far as to -maybe- siphoning energy from different targets. >_>;
6. On a last note, I'm keeping a dream journal. It's got quite some interesting things. I don't know if it's cheating to refer to dreams I've had in the past prior to this project though... those ones are more interesting than ones of late.

I've decided I'm going to buckle down and get out of my body finally. I hope to finish Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics in the next few days so that I have all the knowledge and resources I can possibly have.

So I'm going for that. Assuming I can begin doing it consciously and reliably I plan to test it for empirical results. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

Good Luck. C:

I want to participate, I have to think of something good though.

Blind Guardian the 2nd
You know, I would do something, only my University has been having me do other things which are apparently more important for the past four years. neutral

Zurine and Blind Guardian!? I am amazed.

And I sympathize to your plight, Blind Guardian, I'm going to be facing something similar for the next 3.6 years myself. You're not getting a winter break or anything?

I just started my Masters of Research in September (which means I start my Ph.D next year) and if I want to get all my work handed in, I'm going to have to work over the break. I have three assignments due in at the beginning of January. =/

I never find the words to say in this place since I started Uni but damn it, I'm going to try and come back here more often.

Now that we've gathered the greatest minds in magick once again...its time to tell you guys the truth about the contact you just signed by joining this...

WE'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO BLOW UP THE WORLD....WITH OUR MINDS!

(IM KIDDING FFS)

Anyway. Welcome back everyone, it's been a looonggg time since I've heard from most of you.

I'm still stuck on whether to perform the Evocation of Bartzabel solo while performing the mass of the phoenix at the same time...or just sitting down one day soon and drawing up somewhere between 50-100 sigils and charging/releasing them all at once.

I'm going to try to keep my promise Subby, I'm gonna do this one with a straight face. No boomshakalaka exploding candles this time ;_;.

Oh, this looks so fun! I can't wait to see how everything turns out!

Sadly, I don't think I have anything to contribute to this. I've been working on my "Key" servitor for quite some time, but I still don't get how to bring the b*****d to life with instructions intact. xD Maybe next year when I have everything perfected or at least understand it enough to create something. I'm hoping to learn a few things from these fun games.

I guess the only thing left for me to do is cheer people on! *Breaks out the PomPoms*

Based on what I'm reading, the most basic level of projection is into what's known as the "real-time zone". This zone is basically a mirror of the "real world". So in that line of thinking, assuming I can get the hang of this s**t, I was going to try some experiments similar to the remote viewing experiments conducted at Stanford Research Institute all those years ago.

I've gotten myself in a continuous rut, I'm going to try something that seems simple but not for me, the power of positive thinking.
I always think of the worst possible scenario and I attract a lot of negativity.
I just have to train my mind to think differently.

That sounds good. Some advice about trying to look at things in that zone.

Try visiting places that you've never been if your perception isn't perfect I find it best to visit places I've never been because it forces me to not just make up whats going on there. I have found that its easiest to figure out where the doors and windows are in rooms I have never been in. I think it has something to do with fengshui(sp?)
But it seems pretty easy to see doors and windows for me even if I can't see the rest of the room. Also things that people touch alot or use alot seem easier for me to see/perceive.

When I try to see places I know I just rely on a memory of what the place looks like and just alter my perception to fit the way I think the room should look.
Its different for each person though
