I loved it. It was great. But I was sad when Lex chose to screw up Johnathan's campain. I know I know he is in the end Superman's enemy but they just like to mess with our heads it's like give us the sliver of hope that maybe he'll be good and then WAP no he's evil ha ha I can't believe you fell for it. Makes me mad. But ya Lana dies I was happy. But alas so didn't really die. *sigh* But lex is so hott so that's all that really matters. 3nodding

well i wasn't sad, it was expected of him. I totally loved how he has chosen to be the real vision. It is a politicial race, friendship is not part of politics. You hvae to chose. and that is what lex is not afraid of, and lexmas really showed that side of him. If Lex wants something he is going to get it.

Yeah. This episode definitely shows Lex's evil side coming out. I only got to watch about half of it because I took a nap, overslept, and missed about the first 20 minutes of it. *sigh* It's kinda sad though. Lex used to be so nice. Such a good guy. And we've all seen the Superman movies so we know there's ultimately no hope for him. sweatdrop I really hate Lex sometimes. evil And at this point, he can only get worse. Before, it seemed like he'd slip into one of his evil phases but then ultimately go back to being good. Now if he's decent, it seems more and more like just an act.

actually he wasn't as mean in the movies as he was in the comics... the movies they mad lex like really weird, they didn't even have him as president in any of the movies.

i write reports all the time with superman and smallville examples. i mean i did the history of superman for my history project lasty year. my teacher said we could pick anything that had a history, so i did a 10 minute power point presentaion on the history of superman... and of coures i dedicate most of my time comparing the comics to smallville... best presentaion i have ever done

I loved this episode, even though it wasn't the best, I still thought it deserves to be in the Top 10... at least. It was great seeing Lex as a "normal" person, with no worries over Clark, or any fueds with others. And when I saw him cry for Lana dieing I felt bad for him, even though I'm not a Lana fan. rolleyes Great Episode. pirate

Yeah I know that was one of the best parts of the episode!! Once you saw and heard that last quote from Lex when he basically said: "...the key to life was money and power," or something like that, it felt soo good. You just knew then and there Lex was becoming the one we knew from the Superman series, and probably wasn't turning back again...

`Chloe Sullivan` yeah i agree. Though im still drooling over the evilness he had in him in the last few minutes of the episode YEAH! After he says "I want you to take Kent out of the race.", I'm just like, YAY he's still evil! It was nice seeing him being a goody-goody, but his evilness is what makes him who he is. It's in his genes to be ruthless.

Was it just me but in Lex's dreamworld, it didn't really seem like Chloe and Clark were even together... It only seemed like they were still really good friends and they were saying how Clark was a journalist at the Planet with her. It's not like they were holding hands or anything...
