She took another sip, watching him sniff his mug with an arched brow. If one wanted to poison him, one didn't need ail to do so....of course some poisons didn't need a scent or a taste to act. Not that she wanted him dead. He didn't do anything wrong.
Setting her mug down, she looked at him in general. "I believe you wanted to know more about Nightmare Valley and you look like you're about to pounce on an unsuspecting victim."

A light blush flashed across Altair's face. He hadn't meant to be so on edge. 'Its only expected tho.. Unfamiliar territory'
"Am I relaxed enough for you now?" he chuckled and settled in his chair, "Lets see, the first thing I need to know would be the name of my host."
He smiled, "After all, you now know my name."

She noted the light blush and smiled. Cute....the assassin can blush. She mused.
"My name's Fatin." She answered.

'Fatin. Simple, easy to remember.' He smiled, "Does it mean anything in particular? Your name I mean."
He took another large swig of his ale; sniffing it, in an attempt to recognize the wonderful flavors that were bombarding his senses. "Wonderful drinks," he called out to Bailey, "More if you would. Oh, and some sort of food. What do you recommend?"

"Captivating, charming, seductive, take your pick."
Bailey bowed her head. "Thank you, sir. As for some sort of food something a little bloody for her." She grinned.
Fatin's cheeks pinked so she tried hiding behind her mug that she hadn't finished. Of course with her mix, she wasn't going to be 'hungry' for a while. Nice thing about diluted bloodline.
Bailey shuffled over with another mug for him. "What are you in the mood for? Pasta, creamy, spicey, italian, mexican, bbq?"

'Definitely not shy,' Altair chuckled, "I'd have to go with captivating at this point. I must admit that I don't go diving off towers to help out others all that often anymore."
'Not since.. No. Don't dwell on those days.' he shook his head softly and turned to Bailey, "Something.. Italian sounds nice. A nice creamy pasta, no preferences. A bit of my home away from home."
He smiled and pondered for a moment on what it could be like these days. 'I hope the Piece is still safe.' Again, he caught himself day-dreaming and returned his attention to Fatin.
"Why again were you out on the rooftops?" He hoped his question did not press any buttons.

Bailey scuttled off to the kitchen to prepare the requested meal, grinning all the while.
Fatin watched with puzzlement to Bailey's grin before shaking her head and turning back to Altair. "Checking out the view until the idiot of a vampire hunter found me. I can only assume you're on rooftops to keep away from time traveled guards?"

"No," Altair shook his head, "I have no worry of guards. I was just scouting out the land a bit."
"Unfortunately," he chuckled, "I didn't get to see very much before I was distracted. Maybe when the weather clears up, you can show me around?"

Fatin stared at her drink, noting it's near emptiness. She never tried being a distraction. "I can show you around..."
Bailey pushed her way out of a set of swinging doors, carrying a huge tray. On it was a plate of fresh tomato Alfredo sauce, fettuccine, and chicken, a plate of freshly baked bread and a bowl of fresh butter with sets of knifes and forks.
She settled the tray on her hip, placing bread and butter in the middle of the two, and the plate of pasta in front of Altair. "Something simple but good and homemade."
Bailey darted away only to bring two pitchers to refill their mugs. "Have fun," she said and scurried away.
Fatin blinked at her now filled mug. Setting aside, she took one knife and sliced a piece of bread and buttered it, taking nibbles of it and sitting there quietly.

"That's a great plan," he smiled," and this food looks amazing."
Altair eagerly dug into his meal. The smell of the food alone was enough for him to forgo his natural apprehension. Devouring bite after bite, it had been some time since he had had a meal of this caliber.
He quickly remembered his manners and swallowed a large bite. "Thank you for bringing me here. The food tastes as wonderful as it looks."

Fatin fought the smile that was creeping up on her face as she ate ladylike at her meal.
"You're welcome. Bailey always has talent around."
She took another bite of her meal.
