Turag wished the saying didn't hold so much truth. He watched angeni in silence for a while but it was so dark now that he could only see her siluethe so he recalled every detail of her in his mind. He watched her as if he could stop time and keep her here longer. There was still so much he thought, no he was sure, he could learn from her. And than he smiled for none of it mattered. His wishes and his beliefs could not go against the wind.
'' If it happens that your wind calls you before I wake up... I wish you a safe journey. ''
Still there was some time before he would fall asleep and he decided to use this time best he could.
'' Tell me if you know by any chance. Where do we go at the end of our life journey? ''
It was always said that angeni kind was learned in spiritual things.

She could feel his eyes on her in the darkness, since the clouds covered up the moon and the stars there was no light to be had. Isabliss pondered his question, would she wake him and tell him that she was leaving or would she just disappear on the snow covered land?
“You do not have to worry, since I have some warning of when the Wind will call me and tell me to travel. I will still be here in the morning, but if it did call in the middle of the night, I want to thank you and tell you the same, where ever you will be traveling to.” She smiled into the darkness in the direction where Turag lay.
Isabliss knew many stories of what happens when one’s life comes to an end, for each region she had traveled to had a different tale, “I know many legends and stories that tell of a world that we all go to when our life energy has run out. Many say that we go to a spiritual plain where all the Soquili can run free, and never tire. Where the grass is always green and sweet; it is a place where we can meet up with our ancestors.”

Turag was well aware of this story. Legend from long before he was born. It was not exactly what he was aiming for but than again he was foolish to ask living of what comes after death. Still it was a beautiful story.
'' Our ancestors... It would be nice to meet those that were before me and Ieft before I came to this world along with those I did meet but are no longer here. ''
Turag was afraid that he was becoming bit gloomy.
'' This tells us not to mourn our lost ones for we will meet them again. That is a very good thing. ''

Isabliss wondered who she would meet in the world after this one; will she finally get to meet her mother and father? “It would be nice, and just imagine all the stories that you will hear, what the other Soquili have seen.”
To Isabliss the Spirit world is just another place to journey to; it was another adventure to an unvisited land. She would face death and continue on her way like it was any other quest that she was on.
“Yes, and that when our loved ones die, they will not be alone in death, but with others who have passed as well: Kings, Queens, Fathers, Mothers, Brothers and Sisters. They will welcome our friends and family that have moved on with smiles and a heartfelt nudge.”

'' Yes. I envy them a bit. ''
Turag smiled as he closed his eyes. What a great feeling it must be to become one of the ancestors. One of those that will look down on his offspring's offspring and tell them great stories once they join him. What a wonderful tail.
'' Hopefully we still have a long way to go till than. We too need to collect some good stories worth telling. At least that is my case. ''
Turag remembered a story about land of snow Isabliss has told him.
'' You won't have any problems with stories. ''

“And they may same about you. For you still have the chance to live and unearth new discoveries in this world, those in the Spirit Realm are unable to accomplish that feat,” Isabliss stared out into the snowy darkness, “Yes, hopefully we will live long happy lives before we are called to journey to the Land of the Spirits.”
Isabliss contemplated her vast array of stories, all were from lands not near here; “You will learn and encounter great stories in your life time, and I cannot wait to hear what you have to say when we meet again,” the mare felt herself smile, “I believe you are right.”

'' I know we will. Somehow it does not seem fitting to me to die young. ''
Which was true. Turag was not planing to give up until his old age just becomes too heavy to cary anymore. Wisdom is a thing that comes with age and Turag was going to make sure to nourish it until it is ripe enough for harvest.
'' The world is just to beautiful and one just must experience it fully with all it's hardships and joys. ''
Turag yawned. It was long exciting day and he was starting to feel effect of all that excitement.
'' Please forgive me. I'm afraid that activities of this day have caught up to me. ''

Isabliss nodded at Turags words, but since he could not see the movement she spoke, “And I share the same belief.”
The Angeni mare still had many lands to see and Soquili to meet here in the Land of the Living, she did not want to give that up just yet.
“Yes, and those hardships and joys are what make one who they are. It is all part of the world’s cycle.”
She was noticing how Turag’s voice was becoming more and more filled with sleep as the night wore on; Isabliss to felt the tiny tug of sleep, but knew she would not be able to slumber.
“There is nothing to forgive; you will need your rest.”
Silver eyes gazed off into the dark night, Isabliss could not sleep, and insomnia was constant in her life.

Isabliss's voice slowly faded away as Turag was falling in world of dreams and before he knew it he was sleeping. This is how he will stay till morning and dream of the last thing he spoke about with Isabliss. Still it was not how his life will end but more the reunion with his parents and his sister he never had a chance to meet. They were happy. Laughing and talking while catching up on the time they spent apart. This made him feel at peace. And without him knowing few tears sneaked out of his closed eyes slowly rolling down his cheeks. It was a blessing he wouldn't remember any of it happening in the morning once he is awake again.

Sleep would not enter Isabliss; she stood watch during the night. The snow at some point had stopped falling and the clouds in the night sky parted to reveal the luminous full moon. Isabliss could now clearly see her sleeping companion beside her deep in the realm of dreams. Tears fell from his eyes and froze on to his dark colored cheeks; Isabliss looked away, feeling as if she was prying on the sleeping wind.
Hours passed as Isabliss stared up at the moon, her mind going blank and a glaze look crossing her eyes. This was the closest she had ever come to falling asleep. Dawn was soon to approach, the night was wearing to its end, the day was soon to begin.

Dawn came coloring the sky with beautiful pink and orange colors while deep dark blue was slowly fading to lighter tones. There was no cloud to be seen that morning only a bright sun bathing snow covered land with it's bright light.
Turag opened his eyes and yawned. He had a good night sleep. To his surprise he saw Isabliss still standing there which made him glad. He was sure he would wake up to find her gone.
'' You are still here. ''
Slowly getting on his feet Turag stretched every muscle in his body, and when on his feet his wings too. He looked out side of they're little hideout to see beautiful sunny day. His eyes started to hurt from all that white around them but he didn't mind. Important thing is that it will be a warm one.

Vast colors filled the sky, coloring it in different shades of red. Minutes passed and in the east a giant orange fiery orb made its way past the horizon. It was a spectacular sight to see the sun bring light to a new day. Next to the standing angeni, the wind stirred, to Isabliss he looked rested; a slight smile filled her countenance as she noticed his surprise.
“Sleep well? And yes, I gave you a promise,” her eyes sparkled, dawn always had a way of invigorating her, “Is not this time of day the most breath taking? Not many have the chance to witness the beauty, for they would rather sleep until the sun is high in the sky,” the angeni shook her head sadly. Silver eyes scanned the white world; the time to leave her winged companion was fast approaching. Isabliss turned her attention back to Turag, she enjoyed the conversation that they had shared, for it was very enlightening.

'' Yes I have. I only wonder what was it that I was dreaming. ''
Turag tried to remember what it was that he was dreaming of but all his efforts were in wain. He sighted with a smile. It must have been one of those unimportant and confusing dreams.
It was rare that Turag would wake up this early so he enjoyed color changes. The beauty of the dawn always amazed him. Specially because it was never the same.
'' Most beautiful. I have to admit I enjoy dawn rarely cos I too tend to oversleep them. ''
Turag saw Isabliss eyes sparkle. They looked more beautiful than this dawn to him. And he felt time to part was near so he looked at mare as long as he could to remember every detail about her. Specially her eyes. He knew there was nothing he could say to make her stay so he will look forward to the time when he accidentally meets her again.
'' I suppose it is time for us to continue our journeys... ''
He was never good when it came to saying goodbye. Still he decided to make this a good one.
'' I have to thank you for this most pleasant spent time. I wish you luck in your travels. Perhaps our paths will cross again. ''

Isabliss nodded at Turag, she believed that it was not her place to tell him that she had witnessed him cry icy tears during the night. The wings next words made her smile at the truthful stallion, she was glad that she was able to share these last moments with him as the sun rose in the east. She could feel his eyes on her, taking in the detail, retraining her image to memory, she did the same; her silver eyes once again trailing the magnificent markings on his legs and realizing that he reminded her of the snow filled that they resided in.
The angeni knew it would be a rare occurrence if she ever met up with the stallion again, and she wondered if the Fates would make the meeting happen again in the future. She hoped that it would come to pass.
Goodbye were difficult, but to Isabliss she knew that if it was meant to be, they would meet again. Friendships are formed and can last a lifetime, she turned her gaze to Turag’s eyes, “Yes, I believe that it is time.” The angeni bowed her head to the wind stallion, “And I you, this was one of my most interesting conversations I have had, and I thank you for it. I wish that you have a safe travel and find all that your heart desires. Yes I as well hope that the Fates will allow us to meet again.”
Isabliss took a step forward, heading east, a gust of wind tickled through her mane, whispering of places she still need to visit and friends still to make. The wind whispered through the snow covered trees, making snow drifts, you will meet again, the wind seemed to say. Isabliss smiled, new adventures where coming her way.
