"I 'm not easily taken down. Only a few people stand to match or surpass me in fighting skill, so I can fight or flee out of anything." Axel walked over to a small shelf, found a wad of canvas, unfurled it, then balled it up and tossed it to Maria "Here."

Maria caught the balled up canvas with two hand, unfolding it so that see could see it. "This is really good!" She said, eyes scanning the details. "And you said that you didn't need to use circles?" She stretched it out a bit more. "I'm not...doubting you or anything. I just...would feel bad if something happened to the person who helped me, when I couldn't help them in return."

((what time frame is this in? are there the trains and stuff?))
She held her heavy baggage as she stepped off the train into her new home state. She was always being relocated, cause she disagreed with the state leaders.. She frowned looking at the name of the city; Nall. What a queer name, Lotus thought. She looked at her map standing at the front of the station. She mumbled to herself, as she walked on, wondering where the state alchemist place was actually. She looked at the crowd, seeing if she could see anyone that looked like an alchemist.

Koka walked into the town of Nall, finishing the last bite of his bread. He put his hands in his pockets to conceal the alchemic circles on them, not wanting to attract attention to himself. He continued walking, searching for a hotel or inn or whatever he could stay in for the night.

Lotus dropped her bags against a wall of the shop, sighing, and leaning her weight against the brick wall. "Damn it, I'm lost.... Again..." she looked around at the dense crowd. everyone seemed so cheerful. She let out another deep sigh..

((We currently have trains and cars. No tech, just machinery.))
Orcus walked out of the office building and headed to a bar that was empty as can be. He ordered water and took a seat near the door.

Koka continued walking down the street stretching his arms above his head. He quickly put his hands back in his pockets once again. After a few more minutes of walking, he walked passed a bar, noticing through the windows it was empty. Deciding he could stay there without attracting to much attention, he stepped inside then looked around, not noticing the other person sitting there. Then, his gaze set on Orcus for a few moments, and quickly looked away, moving to the other side of the bar.

Orcus pretended not to notice the person that entered the bar. At first site, he looked like nothing more than a peasant wanting a drink.

(( do state alchemist have those little pocket watches to identify? ))
Lotus picked her two suitcases back up, and carried them to the nearest inn. She checked in for one night and went up to her room on the 3rd floor. Room 34? She found the room at last, and walked in throwing her things on the dusty bed. Lotus left, locking the room behind her, and went to browse around the city.

((No, remember that the state alchemists have to be secretive because they can't get caught by the Anti-A's. That is why most of their operations are in the woods and back water towns. I'll bring in NPC Anti-A's later on in the story.))

Koka plopped in one of the chairs on the other side of the room. He ordered himself some water as well. He nodded as the water was given to him, then looked over at the other person across the bar, making sure he wasnt looking. Looking back at the water, he took the glass and slipped it under his table. A few moments later, he brought it back up again, the glass filled with warm tea.

Lotus had asked around for a bar, only really finding help from a little kid who kindly escorted her for a few coins. she entered the dark place glancing around at the two males already seated. She sat in a corner opposite to the others. She ordered a shot, just to help her calm. She was under 21, but the bartender didn't ask.
