Niko was startled but the sudden flutter of wings, a slight growl of irritation escaping his lips as he got to his feet. He held his tail and head high as a symbol of his high rank as he followed his ears, the yelp making him growl a bit louder. "who's there?" He called, sounding more menacing than he really was, before a fox with a familiar scent came into sight and he relaxed slightly. "Ty?" He asked in disbelief, taking in the familiar scent of the fox.

The fox now babbled, seeing as how he nearly had a heart attack from all the emotion that had just run threw his body and mind at once. "Errr... um...yeah?.. Yes! It's me! Ty!" He cried out. He whimpered fearfully, with his tail between his legs, and trying not to make eye contact, because he knew this wolf was their leader. A moment later he finally processed that the wolf called him by his name. And he looked up at the wolf still shaken up from what had happened. He gulped nervously, and looked up and replied "Niko...?"

at that moment Niko dropped his guard and his tail began to wag. "the one and only" Niko replied to the fox, a slight grin on his maw. It had been some time since he had last seen this feisty fox, he had been just a pup then and he was happier than ever to see this familiar face.

The fox then sprang into his old self again, feeling happier than ever to see an old friend from his younger years as a kit. His body was now vibrant with emotion, his tail swishing in the air and the huge grin that now animated his maw. "NIKO!" He burst out. He then charged at Niko and pounced on him. Ty was overjoyed to see his old friend once again. He soon felt his maw spitting out question after question to Niko. The wolf couldn't even budge in an answer. "Where have you been??? How have you been??? What have you been doing all this time?" The fox babbled on and on until noticing Niko becoming irritated..."ohhh, perhaps you'd like to answer one of my questions now?" He laughed as Niko rolled his eyes.

Running through the white blanket that covered the forest floor. That was what Alumina was doing, well, what she wished she were doing. Her strides were long, her eyes full of determination. She didn't know where she was going now. All she knew to do was run. It was the only thing, other than hunting and fighting, that she had learned in her life. In the life she lived it was what she needed to survive. In the harsh wilderness that they all inhabited, these were the main things that every living creature needed to thrive in harsh climates such as these.

The white fur that covered her from mussle to the tip of her tail helped her to blend into the snow better than most wolves. Too bad it was spring. This gave her an advantage at that time of the year. The only things standing out were her dark nose and equally dark eyes, but now in spring she could be seen quite clearly. Other than that she was what you may see as the perfect predator. She could blend into her surroundings to sneak up on her prey, she was fast in case they made the idiotic choice to run. She was a great hunter. It was one of her natural qulities that allowed her to live this long on her own.

The wind that blew past her made her feel as if she were soaring along side the birds that roamed the sapphire skies above. She could see small creatures run and hide in fear of being eaten or trampled under her strong paws. She craned her neck up and howled up at the sky as she continued to sprint to her unknown destination. She howled once more before lowering her head so that she may see where her paws were taking her.

Niko laughed as Ty went on and on, smiling back at the creature when he finally stopped.
"The pack hasn't left these lands since my parents ruled. I've been fine, but my parents, Watachee and Ohoyo, have passed on. Still a mediocre Alpha but the pack trusts me so all is well my friend," Niko replied, taking a seat before his old friend, he was about to return the barrage of questions when an unfamiliar howl found his ears, being carried by the warm breeze.
"And it looks like my job as Alpha is never ending," Niko sighed, getting back to his feet. " I must go seek out this lone wolf on my lands, friend, but you are welcome to join me." Niko smiled a tooth grin, hoping Ty would take him up on his offer before raising his maw to the sky, returning a confident and powerful howl, letting all in the area know he claimed these lands.

((It's spring by the way.))

Almost immidiatly she stopped in her tracks. She heard another howl, not too far off by the sound of it. She was in someone's territory. She sat and craned her head back once more. She howled again telling her fellow wolf that she was of no threat and was merely passing through. Once her lonely soundng howl ended, she got back onto all fours and began to take her time. She looked around as she strode through the density at a leisurely pace. She knew that the wolf, probably the alpha of ths territory, was going to come anyway and run her off the land that he claimed. A slight whimper came from her as she stopped once more. Not once had she truly been accepted anywhere she went. Her own parents didn't bother looking for her. She nothing but a female while the rest of her siblings were male. They didn't need her.

With this thought passing through her mind, she layed down and rested her head on her front paws that crossed over eachother in a relaxed way. Sure, she was a lone wolf, but everyone grew tired of being alone eventually. She had long been tired of being by herself. Yet, it was how she was accustomed to living. It was all she knew. She didn't know how to live in a pack functionally. She had never been taught. She was never raised that way. She was raised to survive the wilderness at any cost. That cost that she payed was something she never stopped regretting even if it wasn't her fault in the first place.

So, she began to wait for the wolf to show up and teach her her place. Her ears layed back on her head. She would not fight back. She didn't believe in fighting another wolf even it was for something completely just. She only faught to survive, and to feed herself. She saw many creatures scurry around her. They must've thought her peculier to just lie there and do nothing but watch as they ran about.

The Fox then silenced himself, knowing that it was the alpha job to take care of al foreingers in his land. He remained poised, awaiting his mind to produce a answer... He then rose to his feet and greeted the wolf once again with a gentle stare. He then spoke "I'd be glad to join my old friend again for a stroll" A sauve smile emerged from his maw, as he circled Niko with great speed and agility. Before greeting the wolf once more with eye contact and another smile. The fox then proceeded forward, looking back to see Niko still there, he flicked his head forward motioning him to lead the them to the stranger in alpha's land. "Lets go" he called out to his dear old friend.

Niko laughed softly before pushing himself forward, taking off in the direction of the howl, his ear twitched as he heard another, his strides long and powerful. He knew these lands better than anyone, having lived here all his life. It took almost no time before the scent of the strange wolf tickled his nose, causing him to slow to a walk. He glanced back, making sure Ty had not gotten lost before he continued onward. He dared not hide from the strange wolf, showing himself to the lone fae, head and tail high. He wasn't a muscular wolf, or very big at all for that matter but he displayed his position with the dignity of his father.
"What say you, trespasser?" he called to the fae, slowly closing the distance between them.

Alumina dared not to look up. She did not want to cause any trouble. "I was merely passing through. I am only trying to find somewhere where I can be accepted. I already foresaw that I would not be accepted here. So, if you will allow it, I will be on my way," she explaiend as she slowly rose to her feet, tail lowered along with her head hung.

To them she thought that she looked rather strange. She did not belong in a place like this. She would not survive well. So, she just said that she was going to pass through without any trouble. She did not want to start any sort of confrontation. Her ears still lay back against her head. She was showing so many signs that she was of no harm to anyone in his territory.

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth

User Image

[Memories] are nice, but that's all they are.

The sudden howls got Khristine's attention. She did recognize one, that one of the alpha, but the other howl was unfamiliar. Of course the alpha would be taking care of it, but she just wanted to make sure that things were alright and even check on the alpha as well, even if he didn't need it. She was like that. She tended to be overly caring at times, but she just liked to be sure of things and that her loved ones werer alright.

The wolphess hurried herself from the meadow to where she thought she had heard the howls come from. Well, she followed the unknown one since it was obvious that the alpha would be there to see the intruder. Soon enough she saw three wolves. Well, now that she got a better view, there were two wolves and...
a fox? she questioned as she got closer to the alpha. She came from behind him, but she stayed maybe two or three feet back from the alpha as a sign of respect, since this was his business. Hopefully he wouldn't take it the wrong way, the fact that she came, but she asked, "Everything okay, Niko?" she asked as she watched the other two who were unkown to her. It seemed that Niko was taking precautions for the wolf, not the fox. Maybe they were old friends or something. Either way, the pack would find out sooner or later, and, of course, she being part of those who would find out since she was part of the pack, even though she didn't have a rank, yet.

Ty's ears flicked back with pity for this creature so new to this land. He inquistively glanced over this new wolf reading and analyzing it's every simple body language and facial expression. He felt she emitted a very troubled ettitquette, and a painful background...Relaxed in a deep thought, the fox wondered why he felt he could relate to the wolf. His feelings for his past, and the isolation he endured suddenly surfaced within him...Something inside him, made him want to get to know this wolf, and who knows maybe perhaps forge a friendship out of each others hardships...Ty snaped back into reality, he looked at Niko first, glancing down at his maw waiting for him to speak...He then glanced over at the wolf attempting to make some sort of eye contact, somehow he had hoped she return glance so that she too may share his feelings. In a slight way he felt attracted to this mysterious new beauty. He knew that Niko would make his decision soon, so he quickly spoke forth "I don't mean to intrude, but might I ask your name."

Alumina looked up only once and saw another wolf join in. She also spotted a fox. She then tore her gaze away and refocused it back onto the green adn brown ground that lie beneath her paws. She heard the fox speak to her. She expected everything except to be asked her name.

Confusion washed over her. She could still not get over at how the fox had asked for her name. No one had ever bothered to ask for her name. She didn't know if she should or not. She decided that she should. It would be nice atleast someone to know whom she was. She breathed deeply. She forced her tail to not wag as she did not want to show any excitement just by the fox asking her name.

"My name is Alumina.

Niko stood by, unmoving as Ty spoke to the new wolf. She seemed like no threat and he relaxed, though only slightly. His ear twitched as he heard Khristine approach, he knew her gait and could tell it was her before she spoke.
"Everything is fine." He replied, not removing his gaze from the strange new wolf. his pack was small and Niko was not one to start conflict for no reason.
"Well, Alumina," He said finally, addressing the wolf by her newly learned name. "If you seek a place to rest I will allow you to stay here, but if you should cause trouble within my pack you will surely regret it." A comment worthy of an alpha, he thought. He father, the last pack leader, never turned away any wolf who needed a home, but always made it clear that ill intent would be taken care of quickly.

No words could describe the utter shock that she was now feeling. He was actally willing to accept her? She listened to his words. She never had ill intent on any pack that she came across. It was going to be hard for her to thrive in a new environment such as this, but she would adapt eventually. Her fur color would not change, but her habits would. Her ears raised themselves up as she thought that it was a good moment to stand, but she stayed in her current position just in case. Her ears only stood at attention so that she may hear better.

Many different sounds flooded her ears. She could hear birds chirping far up in the sky, and little furry critters scuttling over things like acorns. She found this new place rather amusing. Yes, she would get used to being here, but she would not stay for too long. She did not wish to be a burden on this alpha's pack. She figured that they would probably abandon her like the others anyway. So, she would try very hard not to grow attatched to anyone. Those were her rules, that was how she was able to live without missing anything.
