((You have to pass your zanpakuto's 'test' before you can just know its name.))
Kasen looked at Kyo's limp body as the kido broke and his hands were now free, though they won't do him any good in this state. Kasen walked around looking at the sky as he waited. "The hard part isn't knocking these people out, its waiting for them to wake up..." Kasen thought as he honestly disliked waiting with nothing to do.

the tiger growled in frustration. "If you weren't so weak you would know who i am. Your nothing but an ignorant child, how do you expect to become anything the way you are?" the tiger spoke before charging at Kyo and slamming into him so hard Kyo felt the wind leave his lungs as he fell faster towards the ground. Kyo caught his breath and managed to slow his descent, not that the ground was anywhere in sight. he looked at the beast falling beside him and went to draw his sword...only to find that it wasn't there. "My zanpaktou is gone? what did you do with my sword?" he asked the tiger and only got a growl in response.
As the tiger charged towards him again, Kyo spun himself and aimed a kick at the beast. Unfortunately, Raitenshou dodged it with ease and slammed into him again. "Tell me Kyo, why do you want to be a shinigami so bad?" the tiger asked as they continued to fall through the neverending clouds.

in the real world, kyo continued to lay on the ground unconscious

Kasen shuffled his cards as he looked at Kyo who was out cold still. Looking up at the sky he sighed as he was getting bored waiting, suddenly a female in a strange kimono with red aura coming from it appeared by Kasen's side. "Remind you of old times?" The female asked in a stinging tone as Kasen simply looked straight ahead. "Not really Sasori, this one is lucky he didn't have to go through what I had to do to obtain shikai." Kasen said with a smirk as his training with Evil was a rough one.

"I want to be a shinigami so i can protect those who cannot protect themselves....but that isnt the main reason." he said as he thought about the question before answering truthfully. "I want to be strong, i want to have enough power so that people will respect me." he said finally. The tiger nodded, "It is important to be honest with yourself if with no one else you must remember that always Kyo. You seek power to gain respect, there are many ways to gain respect without power Kyo, but you have chosen your path and there is no turning back now. Have you remembered my name yet Kyo?" the tiger asked.

Kyo shook his head slowly as he tried unsuccessfully to think of the tiger's name. The Tiger sighed and with another burst of speed slammed into Kyo's stomach leving him breathless and hurdling through the clouds that had started to darken. "your running out of time Kyo, if you keep falling eventually you'll hit the ground. You'll be dead if you hit the ground." the tiger spoke.
shock covered Kyo's face as he looked at the clouds around and below him, wondering about how far he had fallen already and how much further he had until he hit the ground. "What am i supposed to do? You keep talking in riddles and asking me what your name is, how can i know your name if i dont know you? This doesnt make sense." Kyo yelled at the tiger in his frustration. He was starting to get mad, something that rarely happened to him. His control over his emotions was starting to slip

The tiger slammed into Kyo again making him fall even faster. "What's wrong Kyo? You seem confused? Or are you just getting angry? What good will anger do you? in the end your still weak." the tiger growled at him.
Kyo's anger only got worse with the tiger's words. his reiatsu started to react with his emotions, surging outward as he fell. "Don't Mock Me!!" he yelled at the tiger as he tried to focus his reiatsu but was unable to due to his overwhelming anger.

in the real world Kyo's body was suddenly surrounded with his reiatsu, it surged around him and caused him to float in the air as it poured out of him.

The tiger bared its teeth at him, "That is your problem Kyo, you waste too much energy bottling up your emotions, when you should be learning to control them. they will give you strength if you can channel them properly. You must let down your walls if you wish to grow any stronger." it spoke softly as it watched Kyo struggle.
Kyo struggled to control his anger. Remembering the breathing techniques he had been taught when he was alive, he tried to slow his breathing and calm himself. slowly his reiatsu started to subside as he calmed down.

the tiger nodded as Kyo was able to control his emotions though his reiatsu still flared around him. "Kyo you dont have much time left, if you cannot remember my name it will be all over for you. You must focus. you must speak my name if you wish you find the real me." The tiger suddenly multiplied until there were thousands of him surrounding Kyo.
Kyo looked at the tigers around him. "How am i supposed to speak a name i dont know?" Kyo asked
"Focus your mind Kyo, listen to your zanpakutou. It has been trying to talk to you this whole time, yet you arent focused enough to listen." the beasts spoke in unison

Kyo closed his eyes and calmed his mind as he continued to fall, he could hear the roar of the thunder and the cackle of lightning as they chased each other through the clouds. he could sense the tigers all around him. he thought of what he had learned since becoming a shinigami, of how he had faced off against Kasen right after joining the 10th squad and had been hospitalized for days afterwards. Everything he had done and experienced up to this point flowed through his mind, all coming to rest on the image of the tiger standing before him. he could hear it speaking to him, but the words were drowned out by the roar of the storm around them. Focus Kyo, let everything around you fade into the background, focus on the voice of the tiger. he thought to himself.
slowly the roar of the storm started to subside, slowly quieting until Kyo could hear nothing around him. The tiger in his mind spoke to him, and he was able to hear its voice finally. Opening his eyes Kyo smirked as he looked at all the tigers around him. "I know your name now, not only that but i know which one is real." he spun around and pointed at one of the tigers. "I've found you Raitenshou!" Kyo yelled. all the tigers faded except for the one before him. it bared its teeth in a smle as it nodded. "you have done well Kyo, you have passed my test and it is now time for you to return to the real world." the tiger spoke as light filled Kyo's vision.

Kyo opened his eyes slowly, wondering where he was. then everything came rushing back to him. he sat up quickly, reaching for his sword, finding it laying next to him. The pain came next, his body sore from the fight with Kasen and his head reeling from the monstrous headache he had incurred at the end of the fight. He cradled his head for a second as he adjusted to the pain, before looking around for Kasen as he slowly got to his feet.

"Took your sweet time didn't you?" Kasen asked as he was under a tree as he looked at Kyo who finally awoke from his little slumber. "Are you finally ready?" Kasen asked as he was getting bored of waiting as his legs had almost fallen asleep on him, twice. "Do you finally know your zanpakuto's name?" Kasen asked patiently as the storm seemed to be calming for a moment before the wind picked up once more.

Kyo smirked once he saw Kasen. "Yes, Shall i show you?" he asked as he drew his sword. "Scream and Strike Raitenshou!" he yelled as his sword glowed before splitting into two twin swords shaped like thunderbolts. currents of electricity ran through them as the rain landed on them and sizzled. Kyo stood before Kasen and waited.

Kasen began clapping as he chuckled at Kyo and his apparent success. "Well, you look like you finally called out your zanpakuto's name, this is going to be fun. But, can you make me call out my zanpakuto's name?" Kasen asked as he stopped clapping and unsheathed his actual zanpakuto which the rain failed to touch with it's water somehow. Kasen gave the signal to Kyo to show him what his new zanpakuto was capable of doing as he had only met one other lightning-type zanpakuto user, and that was Revlis himself.

Kyo couldnt help but smile at Kasen's words before becoming serious and nodding acceptance to the challenge. "Hado #4: Byakurai!" he yelled as a lightning shot from his fingers towards Kasen, with Kyo following in its wake.

Kasen brought his wrist up as he chanted a Kidō to counter. "Bakudō #8, Seki." A round shield appeared on his wrist as it countered the lightning, however it shattered with it rather than repelling the Kidō which surprised Kasen a bit, but not too much. Kasen looked at Kyo who was coming at him as Kasen waited for him with a small smile on his face. "Come Kyo, show me your zanpakuto's powers!" Kasen shouted as he ran forward at Kyo with his blade ready.
