Im Buddihist mrgreen
Even though i do not attend to any of the festvials/events where you go to a temple and pray, i only did that once in Birmingham, but that was ages ago stare
Does anyone here have this lil shrine at the top corner of your house, where you put inscents, the buddha or some kind of statue, food/offereings on it and you have to pray it on a particular day question
Yes. *points at parents* Eheh.
I was raised a Buddhist by my family. I was raised a Christian by my school and country. So.... I dunno, I'm very pressured by both sides in my mind, as since day one, God has always been present in our everyday speech in English, has always been an important factor in my school's life. They sang the usual hymns, talked about God and stuff... Nowadays, I'm used to saying "Goddamnit" and "Ayah! How could you do this to me, God? You hate me so much!" I don't believe in him at all, but sometimes I think like that, and then I wonder again if God exists... It's the same for Buddhism. Being blasted with the beliefs all your life does have an impact on my own beliefs... So though I stick fast with being an athiest (because no one has ever proven God exists) I think I am partially agnostic too....
sweatdrop xd But anyhoo, yesh, Sapph-chan, my parents have the shrine thing, and the incense, and do it every day and do the tea cups thing every night... "Bai san", they call it, they get Ken and me to do it all the time.
