Angie crouched, imagining herself jumping further than ever before, sailing over the leachy monsters. When Chococo said three, she leapt, kicking as hard as she could. The only thing on her mind now was to kick! Kick-kick-kick-kick-kick!! This seemed to be the slowest movement of her life though, the beach taking forever to get closer. She shrieked as something brushed her leg. She neither knew nor cared what it was. She just kept kicking, gasping as adrenaline pumped her body.

After what seemed like an eternity of swimming (which had only been a minute or two really), the two mares finally made it back onto the shore, gasping and panting for breath. Chococo felt something wriggling in her right wing and turned to look, only to see a small silver fish fall out and land on the sand. "Is that- what was- on us?" she asked incredulously between pants. It looked rather harmless really... and quite pitiful as it flopped about on the ground looking for water. The airin took pity on the small fish and pushed him back into the ocean before giggling a bit. "I think we may have just panicked over nothing."

Angie ran a few feet onto the beach before flopping onto her belly, legs tired from the sudden exertion. She lifted her head to look at the thing flopping in the sand. She frowned and shook her head. "I don't know. It may look silly here, but in the water it could be more dangerous. It was sticking to us after all, trying to get our blood. Even a dangerous predator can look weak when taken out of its element." She said stubbornly as she let her head fall back to the ground, her pulse starting to calm with the feel of ground between herself and what was in the water.
