Personally, I don't give a s**t if the world ends or not. Why should anyone care? I mean, if it's true, there's not a damn thing anyone can do. If it's not true, then on the 22nd, life will go on as normal and people will continue to be paranoid dumbasses thinking the world will end in some other year for some other stupid reason. It happened in 2000, and in 2006, and from what I was told, back in the 90's too. People are just freaking out over a bunch of stupid s**t. If it's true, we don't have the technology to save ourselves, and there won't be anywhere that any of us can go, so there's nothing we can do. Hell, there's nothing we can do either way. We can't make it happen and we can't prevent it either, so why does everyone care so much?
I think that on the 20th and 21st, people should just surround themselves with those they care about and hope it doesn't happen. Or if you're a pessimistic type, be alone and hope it does. :/

The world will end when the sun dies and expands in about 5 million years. This whole 2012 business means the end of this era and the beginning of the next, not the end of the world.

if it happens it happens; if not, well, I will more than likely have some kind of business to take care of. Death scares me -- more like a painful, lingering death -- but it is kind of a package deal with life, ya know.

robot54 well either two things will happen; A: It does happen and we die B: I stand there laughing my a$$ off on the 22nd It might just turn out like the "world would end in 2000" junk, nothing happens blah blah blah ya it is basically the same thing every once in a while, some whackoes say the end of the world is coming, whether it is true or not, we must wait in horror, excitement, or boredom while thinking i want some cookies but im too lazy too get them right now...

I have my own opinions about 2012 but id rather not say sense they are a bit strange
anyway, it really does not matter to me sense in all actuality when that happens ..................... oh nvm thats kinda of depressing and it makes me feel guilty, well if it does end with the destruction of earth like i highly doubt, then accomodations can be made
but in all reality ever culture has perdicted an end date or soem date were everything becomes good and the world is cleansed of evil and all that kind of stuff so that date may mean nothing, but my theory smashes that idea so ya

Who freakin cares about the freakin Mayans or Aztecs. Maybe that's the day when the mayans and aztecs finally friking go extinct, I don't care, but I will not die at the age of 14. ONE MONTH BEFORE I'M AS OLD AS SONIC!!! I just can't let that happen. I'll teleport to my dimension, taking my friends and family, and laugh at the people who were jerks begging me to save them. Or I'll take them and make them slaves.
And If I do have to die, I want to die quickly, or dramatically. Like this big, dramatic anime scene. Heck yeah. Die summoning the fianl aeon

I got a book that says that a giant blue ball will come from space and absorb earth and kill us all slowly and painfully.... the wierd thing is taht it says it would happen 2006 xp
