I'm reading Mansfield Park right now for my Jane Austen class. It isn't her most exciting book. Fannie is too much of a wimp for my tastes. And she doesn't really have a good imagination either. sweatdrop

Really? That's disappointing. I haven't read it yet, but my mom has a copy. It's surprising that Fannie is such a lackluster heroine, though. Isn't she the one who wants to be a writer?

I don't know yet. I've heard different people say different things about it. But, there are some fun characters in the book. Mary is definitely interesting. She also tells dirty jokes.

Hmmmm. *adds Mansfield Park to reading list* twisted Sounds like Mary is kind of like the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet! (And yes, the Nurse is one of my favorite characters! blaugh )

I finished reading a book called Moon Called today because the person who lent it to me wanted it back. It's a fairly entertaining fantasy novel, but it could definitely be better written. Anyway, I didn't get any of my required reading done because of it. sweatdrop
I still need to finish Mansfield Park, Jacob's Room, The Spoils of Poynton, and part of Solid Objects. sweatdrop I need to get on that...
