GreenInkling broken_bleeding_angel Dude, seriously? *Pushes Ink off and covets it myself* Mine! Yeah, I've neber been much of a techno-savvy person. How much does it usually cost? A lot. The really good programs with tons of extra features are $100-$1000. I use GIMP.

I don't want to step on anyone toes, but I want to put a list together of what we have for this event.
-Still Editing-
This is stuff that I gathered around the topic. We can discuss what we like and don't.
Contest/Events
White elephant party (pg1) Angel Tree Secret Santa
Shops
Selling Plushies Tress Stockings Christmas Cards
I am thinking we need something big to bring in people. How about a countdown type thing. Each day a person shows up for the countdown to Christmas they get a picture/coin. Who ever collects all of them they enter a drawing for a prize?

alright now that i have my coffee and thinking a bit clearer here are my thoughts.
its pretty hard to come on everyday though. and what would be counted as being here? just 1 post? or a minimum of 5 post with some content to help move conversation along rather than just bumps.
the posting minimum will cause less people to try to win the raffle if the have to be here everyday though. unless ya count each day they are here as a ticket. i get the feeling that only people working on the event will be there everyday.

Good point Psycho. It would be hard to get on everyday. But that's why I thought it would make it special. They have to work at getting the prize. I understand though not being able to do it. How about for every five days they show up they get a ticket? And in the day they have to do one post. I don't know, though. It kinda takes away from the countdown idea. My mind is kinda muddled right now so I probably not making a whole lot of sense.

Oh, I have another idea for a contest. We can do Where in the World is Santa. It's kinda like Where in the world in Carmen SanDeigo. We give them clues each day and they have to figure Where Santa is. We could do this instead of the Count Down type thing.

I didn't know if anyone volunteered yet to make the layout for this yet, but I got some time on another computer to put something together. Let me know which one you guys like better. Oh and I just put Holidaze there for looks, we can change the name later. I'm liking the snow one better.

The snow one.
Even though I like the vintage Santa Claus, the snow banner is fresher and different. Blue is not a typical Christmas color.

I like both, however the blue one really stands out! Maybe it's because it's a cooler color.
