It was an early morning start as Fae exited her new home. The door clicked shut quietly and she stood there, breathing in the fresh, slightly foggy air. She looked around to see if anyone was outside yet as she made her way onto the path, walking around the comunity centre. She had her normal satchel slung around her shoulder, worn leather, and inside was her two jars that contained her artifacts. They clanked quietly at her slow pace as she eyed around her new surroundings. Fae took in every detail to write about later in her research journal.

Nyxa was milling around outside near the community center, enjoying the early morning hours. She usually was a night owl, but the fresh air and soothing sounds of the ocean roused her from bed at what she would have previously considered unholy hours. Now, Nyxa relished rising with the sun and spending a few hours in her garden.
Glancing up, Nyxa spotted a figure moving through the early morning fog. Squinching up her eyes, she didn't recognize the stranger. Giddily she waved, hoping to draw attention to herself. "'ello there!"

Fae idly stared out at the horizon of the beach in awe. It was still a bit dark outside, but she wouldn't miss the sunrise for anything.
She stood there, only but a shadow in the fog when she heard a voice call out behind her. Fae turned around to see another outline of a person waving. Was it to her? ...was there really anyone else around? She jogged over to where the other person was until she was visable. A garden, it looked like, she was working in. Fae gave a polite smile and loked down to the other girl. "Hey! I wasn't sure if there was anyone else alive on this island," She grined awkwardly. She adjusted the bag's sling around her shoulder some and held out a hand to help the girl up if she wanted to.

Nyxa grasped the other girl's hand and eagerly rose to stand. "Oh, yes. There are quite a few people, but I haven't met another person save for Dragonfly." She chuckled and waved towards her home, "And now Julian, a child that I recently adopted thanks to Dragonfly." She tilted her head and glanced at the rucksack that the stranger was carrying. Her own artifacts were glowing calmly on a small stump near her garden. "I'm Nyxa, the proud guardian of a cockerel slash panther combination. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Fae, happy to see how trusting the other girl was, pulled her up. She started listening before the glowing jar caught her attention. Fae was no more than 17 years, being young, she had no children of her own except the two Fenthry.
"My name's Fae- it's more of a nickname, but it stuck as my common name now." She titled her head some and studied Nyxa. "A rooster and a panther? That should prove an interesting combination. I have..." She begun to open her sack and exposed the two jars she carried. "A grey wolf.." She held up the jar a little from the bag, then set it back down and rose the other so she could see its contents. "And a barn owl. But I noticed your's is glowing! Mines havent even combined into one jar yet," She said, a bit dissapointed. "I guess it's because I was the last person to obtain one, eh?"

Idly Nyxa waved a hand, "Back in Durem I have three daughters, they're going to be shocked to learn that they've acquired a brother."
Nyxa then chuckled and nodded, "Ahh, yes. I'm sure you'll get yours combined soon enough. Mine only started glowing recently, I'm very excited! And your combination is sure to be a beautiful one." She dusted off her hands on her worn workpants and set her hands on her hips. "How goes the house cleanup? I have to admit, I was shocked at the condition of the home I was assigned to. It was very well looked after previously!" She frowned slightly, teasingly, "Although I have to admit, the lack of running water and electricity made it a little difficult to clean, but I got through it."

"Of course." Osero return the smile with one of his own. "I'll bring some by later on. I was intending to go out hunting anyway."
Falling quiet for a moment, the Aerandir hunter caught some movement out of the corner of his eye. There were people moving around near the community centre, a pair of women that were almost certainly among the new arrivals. Looking back to Rahujo, he tilted his head a little.
"Have you met any of the new humans yet?"

Fae smiled at the busy mother. She then started to wondered about the other people that lived here and if she was the yougnest person here!
Fae studied Nyxa's glowing jar, then looked down to her two normal ones. She admired the owl feather and nested it back down into her sack before she looked up. "Only reccently? Congrats! I can't wait until mine does that." She seemed to be greatly fascinated with the glowing stage, something more to write about.
"Eh? Well, I only arrived here on Cetalu last night, so I haven't "decorated" yet, and most of my things are being shipped to me in a few days." Then it dawned on her. "Wow! How could I forget about plumbling and electricity? I'm no good at that...unless these houses already have it? If not, I'm sure we can ask at the Centre," she said optimistically.

Meanwhile, in the jar.. :O All was quiet, the glass jar sitting on the stump and noone around. The glowing artifacts within seemed to have gotten bigger, swelling and distorting out of all shape until they became, it seemed, a spherical swirling mass. This.. mass buldged out suddenly, pressing against the glass walls of the jar, filling it so that it became the same shape. Slowly little cracks and splits began to form in the container until there was one encircling the whole thing, including the cork lid! With a final creaky parting, the two sides of the glass came apart, falling onto their sides. The little glowing mass took a spherical shape once more, hovering above the disintegrated jars, as if waiting for something... Nyxa shook her head, "I've asked, and there's none except for what's in the Centre." She chuckled, "It's a big change, that's for sure." Suddenly, her attention was grabbed by the sound of shattering glass, and she turned to look at the jar that had previously contained her artifacts. "Ooooohmygolly." She jumped up and down, looking at Fae excitedly, "Look! Do you see what I see?" Grabbing Fae's arm and dragging her over to the stump, Nyxa peered closely at the glowing ball in question. "What's it doing?!"

Fae looked somewhat dissapointed again. "Civil hogs!" She teased and grinned. "Well, we'll have to work with it. Like you said, it is a big change."
As they were talking about their housing and life styles on the new island, the glowing jar caught Fae's attention again. She squinted her eyes and watched the jar start to crack until it broke open. 0.0 Before she could say anything, Nyxa had grabbed her arm and pulled her over. Fae fell to her knees and the jars inside clanked visoushly. She fretted over them for a moment in haste as Nyxa spazzed over her morphing artifacts. "Woah! What are they doing?!" She echoed the question right back. "They're....they're..morphing together!" Fascinated, she quickly rumadged through her bag and slapped out a sketch pad and pencil. She quickly begun to sketch a picture to later study. Perhaps this information will help her better understand her own artifacts when they get to this stage.

Nyxa watched the glowing ball of ..stuff, wide-eyed and a little faint. She blinked rapidly, her mouth moving like that of a fish gasping for air. The small ball rose, moving to eye-level with Nyxa. She sputtered silently, trembling. "Lu-Lucius?!" Oh, seriously, she felt like she was going to pass out.
The glowing sphere moved closer, insistantly. It nearly beckoned for her to interact physically with it. Warily Nyxa lifted a hand, brushing a finger along the almost gaseous appearance of the ball. "It's kinda warm." She giggled softly, eyes never leaving the small glowing ball. "Fae, isn't this amazing?"

Fae, with her tongue stuck out the side of her mouth and her sitting position of that resembling a frog, busily detailed the picture out. She jotted some notes as Nyxa touched it and the ball's movements. "Wha? Oh, sorry!" She crawled up to it and stared. "Ohh, so that's its name? Lucius?" She grinned and stretched out a hand along with Nyxa's. "May I?" She asked if she could pet it. "This is simply incredible, Nyxa! How long have you been here, and it's almost to its Gryphonic stage!" She idly thought. "I wonder if anyone else's has reached this stage yet, or if you're the first?"

And then SUDDENLY.. The small glowing ball shudders, jerks and darts up and down. It seems agitated almost. Slowly it begins to take on a form once again - but it is no longer feather or fluff... The cmall creature, not yet able to fly, newly created from the sphere of energetic mass, lays down on the stump, trying to avoid the sharp glass which pricks at it's skin. It's eyes slowly open, looking upwards at the faces which stare down, deep black orbs shining. "Cheep"... At this point Nyxa dropped to her knees, warily reaching a hand out to brush along the feathered head of Lucius. He responded well, and she promptly scooped him up. "Holy.. crap." Nyxa was nearly speechless as she held the Aerandir, "You are so beautiful. Isn't he beautiful?!" She picked off a few random shards of glass from his long tail which promptly flicked against her nose. She giggled and scritched under his beak. "Just ..amazing."

Fae's jaw dropped. "Oh my gosh.." Right as her hand stretched out to touch the sphere, it jumped up into the air and sprouted feathers. Her eyes sparkled as Nyxa held her new Aerandir. She then begun to jot some more notes down. "Wow....congradulations, Nyxa! What should we do? Should we go inform someone about this..?" Fea looked back down to her jars, then back up to Lucius. He was soo colorful and pretty!

Nyxa eyed Lucius, a winning grin on her face. He chirped softly at her, moving to sit in her hands. As if testing himself, he stretched his newfound wings experimentally. Lucius' head tilted as he almost seemed to smile, if it were possible. He obviously enjoyed the ooh's and ahh's he was receiving. Nyxa chuckled at him, glancing over at Fae. "Thanks! And I'm not quite sure what we should do.. What do you think?"
