Having escaped momentary to the back room, Hatmon was checking over the night menus. Even though they wouldn’t be needed for quite a few hours yet, there was nothing wrong with another check. Aside from mixed drinks, which were left up to Vika and had not been added to the menu as of yet, all looked to be in tip top shape. Just as she was placing the menu she was holding back on top of the stack of menus a familiar blue hairs cook crashed into the unsuspecting chimera, sending the both of them toppling to the ground.

Her back collided painfully with the wooden floor as Kris landed on top of Hatmon in a flutter of pink colored robes and black skirts. “Kris…” she groaned as she peeled her eyes back open to verify that her nose did not betray her. How could any other person be so bold as to tackle the store’s owner in her own store? Her paws moved up to the man’s chest, ready to push him off, but hesitated. No one knew in Learania knew as well as Hatmon knew that Kris was without a doubt male, but his feminine features were still troubling. Quickly reweighing her options, her paws moved to his shoulders before she pushed him off and got into a sitting position. “Just what kind of work are you doing here, if it isn’t the work I assigned you?”

Vika rummaged through various fridges situated under her bar, sorting drinks by flavor, mixablity, and potency. That was important. Some drinks just didn't mix well with others, and they tasted bad if you did.

Vika had been somewhat adept at this unusual skill since she'd resided in Tellius, though. It was kind of an accident, actually. See, when you piss off the wrong people, sometimes you have to bullshit to get out of that situation. And...well, that one's a story for another time. The fact of the matter was that she knew her stuff and she was a damn good bartender. And she was friendly, albeit a bit meek, which made her perfect at greeting people when she wasn't stationed over here at the bar.

"Vika, wherever you are, can you get me a glass and a pitcher of water?"

"Hm?" Vika raised up sharply, barely avoiding making contact with the counter with her head. She'd done that far too many times for it to be pleasant. "Oh, um...right." She glanced at her fridges once more, deciding she was satisfied with it, and shut them. Then she grabbed a fine glass pitcher, a matching glass, dipped the pitcher into the nearby ice chest, filled it with water from the tap, and set both the full pitcher and the glass by a waiting Ganon. "Here you are, Ganon," she said with a shy smile.

Ganon smiled as the pitcher and glass were passed over, and tipped his... er, eyepatch? Wasn't wearing a hat. "Thanks, lady. Gotta keep my voice from getting dry." He took the pitcher and glass each in a claw and navigated his way around Blossom and Ninian. Since Aruna had gone directly to the kitchen, he had yet to see her, unfortunately.

Or perhaps fortunately, because he probably would have dropped whatever he was carrying when he did. Once he made his way back to his little platform in the corner, he poured himself a glass and set both glass and pitcher on a little shelf. Aww, Vika had even thought to put in a couple of slices of lemon!

He sighed happily, taking his seat and lifting his guitar slowly. People were already starting to come in, and he had a crowd to please; his claws played across the strings while his tail grabbed a small egg-shaped gourd, filled with dried beans and sealed up. His clawtips struck the strings suddenly, playing a rising, syncopated line, and then his tail began to shake the little gourd for a few measures before he started to play a familiar tune, strumming with his clawtips while using his thumb and forefinger to pluck the notes of the melody.

Derrin barely looked up at the waitress opting instead to read a scroll as he spoke. "Nomad Tea. I need something relaxing like tea right now anyways." This place was too cheery everyone was smileing and making idel conversation... someone was even playing the flute. He sighed "Will I get no peace and quiet.

He glanced back in the direction of the waitress. "Are you still here? I ordered so you can leave now." He waved a hand at her. "I suppose she will want to talk to me now and tell me her name.. Honestly people are so annoying." He thought. A familer face sprung to mind. "Especially that dunce! I'm only glad I managed to get away from him and that damn guard recruitment." He sighed. As he looked back to the scroll. "Hmm looks like no one currently knows a way back home yet... this is troublesome." He drummed his fingers on the table again while contemplating his options.
