F.Y.I, I'm sending the parts to SPI first before posting them now. So if there is a lag in parts, that's why. Just sent a LOOONG part.
It went well, and I'm learning that Sylvian can be a real fun character to play at times! XD

Okay, as mentioned, this is a long part. If anyone else is reading this, please let me know if there's anything that can be done to make it seem more... steampunkish. I'm a bit insecure in that area.
Cont: AIR DOCKS, JAD’s HANGER
The Captain and his Second Mate lean idly against Jad’s ship.
The Second Mate nervously bites the top of a small notebook.
SECOND MATE: “Maybe we should have had Mr. Myles leave the other box with us? What if he doesn’t come back?
The Captain pats his pocket with an amused grin.
THE CAPTAIN: “Then we’ll find HIM.” Just then the elevator rises and Jad and Sylvian step out.
Sylvian looks almost swamped in her clothing, but she manages to look sophisticated.
The Captain steps forwards and rubs his hands together.
THE CAPTAIN: “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Madwing! If I hadn’t seen you with my own eyes I wouldn’t have believed you were still alive and well.”
Jad strides forward.
Sylvian follows suit, hands on her hips and sticking close enough to Jad to make their connection questionable at most.
JAD: “And you must be one of the guys I had the accidental pleasure of running into sometime ago.”
THE CAPTAIN: “Not long enough for me to forget about YOU, Madwing.”
JAD: “You were the Captain of a ship called the “Punisher”, right?” The Second mate walks up, peeking at her notes.
SECOND MATE: “Actually, now it’s the “Havoc”.
JAD: “The damage was that bad… eh?”
The Second Mate tenses up and looks at the captain expectantly.
The Captain walks towards Jad.
The Second Mate cringes.
THE CAPTAIN: “Looks like I’ll be able to collect two things while I’m here. My airship upgrade, and the Purple’s Wing’s bounty on YOUR head, Madwing.”
As the Captain reaches into his pocket, Sylvian steps between the two boys.
SYLVIAN: “Forgetting something?”
She takes both red boxes out from her pockets and reveals them.
SYLVIAN: “I come bearing gifts, but only for children who are well behaved.”
Jad frowns and turn to her, keeping one eye on the Captain.
JAD: “Luckily, WE have a deal, don’t we Sylvian?”
Sylvian shrugs with a smile, enjoying the attention.
Jad is confused.
JAD: “If the rest of the payment is a problem, then I can-“
THE CAPTAIN: “What’s mine is mine, and no girl will keep me from it.”
The Captain steps forward for the boxes.
Sylvian steps back with a shake of her head.
SYLVIAN: “One more step from either of you, and the boxes will be smashed.”
JAD: “But then Myles will be quite put out.”
Sylvian happily shrugs again.
SYLVIAN: “You think I’m concerned about that?”
THE CAPTAIN: “You’re on dangerous ground, woman. I paid good money for that part, and if I don’t get it, Myles will pay. No, Madwing and his whole city will pay!”
Jad turns back to The Captain and the cringing Second Mate beside him.
JAD: “Me? I have nothing to do with her!”
SECOND MATE: “Um… but you did destroy our ship…”
SYLVIAN: “AND you’re the one who took the wrong part and got Myles in trouble.”
Jad frowns.
JAD: “The Past is past, can’t we just move on?”
The Second Mate nods eagerly.
THE CAPTAIN: (demanding) “Not until you get what’s coming to you.” The Second Mate hides behind her notepad timidly.
Jad takes a step back, reaching for a weapon at his belt.
SYLVIAN: “Again you boys forget the point.”
THE CAPTAIN: “And what pray-tell, in your silly little female mind, is that?”
SYLVIAN: “You don’t know much about ether parts, do you?”
THE CAPTAIN: “I know how valuable they are and what they can do for a ship.”
SYLVIAN: “They have a good quantity of oxygen and akyl compounds in them. I could easily set it to overload, and add a spark from Jad’s guidance system part, which has a deal of electricity running through it…”
Jad pales and steps back.
JAD: “You wouldn’t…”
SYLVIAN: “Got your attention now, don’t I?”
THE CAPTAIN: “What do you want then? Money?”
SYLVIAN: “A bargain.”
The Second Mate lowers her notepad. She opens it and removes a pencil from her pocket, holding it at the ready.
SECOND MATE: “Terms?”
SYLVIAN: “First of all, I want information. I know the Pirates of the Purple Wing have contacts throughout the world.”
CAPTAIN: “Information? On what?”
Sylvian smirks and looks at Jad briefly.
SYLVIAN: “Aether. I’ve heard it’s becoming quite useful in some parts of the world.”
SECOND MATE: “But… isn’t Aether research a bit… taboo right now?” The Captain shakes his head and puts a hand over the Second Mate’s notepad.
THE CAPTAIN: “It’s not unheard of, but there are still some people who find such research a bit… eccentric.”
JAD: “So it’s the same deal as me.”
Sylvian waves a finger in the air.
SYLVIAN: “There’s another part of the deal.”
Jad and the Captain eye her warily.
SYLVIAN: “I can’t have my helpers going all out to kill each other. Until the job is done, YOU, Captain, must leave Jad alone. And YOU, Jad, stick to business.”
JAD: “Hey, I can’t help it if I happen to bump into people, who somehow end up wanting to kill me.”
THE CAPTAIN: “What if I say I’ll get the part elsewhere?”
SYLVIAN: “You WANT to be blown up?”
The Captain signs.
The Second Mate ventures a step forwards.
SECOND MATE: “I… I think it’s fair enough. I mean, Mr. Myles DID go though all the trouble of making the part for us. If this wo-er, lady is connected with him, perhaps it would be good of us to help her.”
SYLVIAN: “I guarantee you won’t regret your decision and Myles will appreciate the information I’ll pass along to him. Perhaps he’ll remember the favor and even custom build you a special part as a result of the information.”
Jad nods and steps forward.
JAD: “My earlier deal stands… and I’ll try hard to stay out of their way.”
Sylvian looks to The Captain.
The Captain frowns, then steps forward as well.
THE CAPTAIN: “My hands are tied. I agree as well. But after all is said and done, Madwing is mine.”
Jad’s hand goes for his belt again, but then moves it away.
Sylvian hands the Captain one red box, and Jad the other.
SYLVIAN: “I trust I’ll be hearing from you soon, right Captain?”
The Captain eyes Jad menacingly.
THE CAPTAIN: “You have my word.”
The Captain turns and leaves the area.
The Second Mate bows and follows after him.
Jad opens the box and examines his part.
JAD: “I can’t believe you sold me out like that.”
SYLVIAN: “I can’t help it if you’re such a trouble maker. I gave you some time, didn’t you? The rest is up to you.”
Jad closes the box and studies Sylvian thoughtfully.
JAD: “What if he decides NOT to get what you want and go after me, or worse off, you!”
Sylvian smirks.
SYLVIAN: “Myles DID tell you the part wasn’t finished, right? One way or another, we’ll be back in touch, and we’ll see how reliable he is.”
Jad: “Why do you want information on aether so much?”
Sylvian brings a finger to her lips.
SYLVIAN: “That’s MY little secret.”
With that, she turns and walks out smugly.
JAD: “…Someday, I’ll understand why I ever got involved with them.”
Jad goes back to his ship and starts working once again.

Checking in. Doing some stuff for an upcoming anime convention, so after costumes are made I should settle back into writing.
Psycho BF sent me her character and I'm planning on incorporating it into the plot. Getting into the next group of characters now... ehehe, then the fun begins.

Okay, the convention ended, and after sending it to SPI, the part is up! Sorry for the delay, for all those that read anyway, but now I should be getting a part of every two or three days as usual, unless work/social life inhibits me.
I added in psychobunnyfire's character, Lynn Merryweather/Stephen Pyrite in this part. The profile for this character is up in the CHARACTER's thread now. I plan on making this character waaaay more interesting in the next part. <.< Meaning I must IM psychobunny and pounce her for more info next time I see her. XD
~~~~ (cont smile ON THE HAVOC
QUARTERMASTER’S CABIN
LYNN MERRYWEATHER, aka STEPHEN PYRITE sits at a fancy desk in a cabin room that seems greatly embellished with some of the finer ornaments and baubles the pirate life has to offer.
She taps a pen on a piece of paper and mumbles to herself.
LYNN: “So far… un-expected interest in technology upgrades and names of officials in…
She yawns. Her appearance is that of an ageless youth, but unmistakably boyish. Yet, there’s something in her features that somewhat feminine.
There’s a knock at the door.
Lynn jumps.
LYNN: “Just a minute!”
She shoves her writing into the front drawer and locks it in one swift movement.
She stands and puts on a black, tri-cornered hat. Lynn is now Stephen.
Her face takes on a hardened look.
She starts to the door, but before she can get to the door, it opens a crack.
The Second Mate appears in the doorway.
SECOND MATE: “Mister Pyrite, the Captain would like to see you.”
LYNN: “Oh? So then I’m needed to help set the next course.”
She starts towards the door, but stops as the Second Mate shakes her head.
SECOND MATE: “Actually, he has a bit of a job for you.”
LYNN: “Annnd?”
She waves her hand for the Second Mate to continue, looking just a bit stern.
The Second Mate clasps her hands together shyly and abruptly turns away.
SECOND MATE: “It’s best if he tells you himself, Mister Pyrite.” With that she heads out with Lynn following.
THE CAPTAIN’S ROOM
It’s plain, quite plain as opposed to the rest of the ship, with various weapons and maps hanging up. This is the room of a man who is always on a mission.
The Captain is seated at a round table in the center of the room. He’s busy writing something, much as Lynn was, only he’s not saying anything. The small red box is on the table as well, close at hand and closed tightly. There’s a knock.
THE CAPTAIN: “Come in.”
The door opens slowly, and the Second Mate steps in and bows.
She backs out, leave Lynn to enter at will.
The Captain motions for her to enter.
THE CAPTAIN: “Quartermaster Pyrite, have a seat. I have a bit of a proposition for you.”
Lynn enters and sits down across from the Captain.
THE CAPTAIN: “How would you like some shore leave?”
LYNN: “Shore… leave?”
THE CAPTAIN: “In a sense, some time on the Anachron to take care of a few things for me.”
LYNN: “So, we’re staying here for a few days?”
The Captain shakes his head.
THE CAPTAIN: “There’s been an un-expected change of plans. It seems we have to take a detour from our original plans.”
The Captain’s eyes land on the box.
Lynn’s eyes go to the box as well, then back to the captain.
THE CAPTAIN: “So, instead of taking you on a voyage that’s a bit beyond your area of expertise, I considered the idea of leaving a man behind to gather some extra supplies and keep an eye on a particular person for me.”
LYNN: “Pardon me for say so Captain, but there isn’t much outside my area of expertise. Or if you feel I’m not as experienced as you’d like, perhaps I could come along to learn a bit more about what you’re after-“
THE CAPTAIN: “-Pyrite, I’m afraid they’ve given me no choice.”
The Captain crosses his arms and frowns.
THE CAPTAIN: “Have you ever been… cheated, Pyrite?” With a slight sideways look, Lynn nods.
THE CAPTAIN: “Then perhaps you can understand my dilemma. I got a part from a Myles Million who I enlisted the services of, but not before a few people got in my way. Yet, I was promised something in return for a little side mission. I’d like you to be here to collect it for me when the time comes.”
Lynn opens her mouth, but no words come out.
THE CAPTAIN: “I know it’s sudden, but I trust you with guiding my ship and making sure everything is ready for the departures. However, I know you’re also from the Anachrom and some leave may refresh your spirits a little.”
LYNN: “Wouldn’t this mission be better in the hands of someone more of this… profession?”
THE CAPTAIN: “The last thing I want is for that fool of a man to run. You’d be more inconspicuous then someone trained who might take it upon themselves to act at their own discretion. All you’d have to do, is wait for my call and follow the orders I give you.”
Lynn nods and the Captain thumps his hand down on the table with a grin on his face.
THE CAPTAIN: “Then we have an agreement.”
LYNN: “How long will I be there for?”
THE CAPTAIN: “A week at most. Don’t worry, you know how quick I can be with my work. You’ll depart as soon as you have some of your belongings gathered. You’ll be provided with an allowance for lodging, food and expenses as well.”
LYNN: “Expenses…?”
THE CAPTAIN: “We’ll need fresh supplies when we come back, so you’ll be expected to price and gather goods for when we pick you up again.”
The Captain stands and walks Lynn to the door.
THE CAPTAIN: “Any other questions?”
LYNN: “How will I get your orders?”
THE CAPTAIN: “In the usual way. Just go down, enjoy a bit of leave, keep an eye on that Myles for me and take care not to blow your cover.”
LYNN: “Yes, Captain!”
The Captain opens the door and waves Lynn off.
The Second Mate appears and takes her place next to the Captain.
SECOND MATE: “Mister Pyrite is the right man for the job. I know it, Captain.”
He looks down at her approvingly.
THE CAPTAIN: “Of course, we have to go with someone Madwing can’t connect us with, just incase he comes back before us. You got to think on your toes when you’re a Captain, Second Mate.”
She smiles shyly and clasps her hands together.
SECOND MATE: “Yes, sir, Captain!”
IN THE QUARTERMASTER’S CABIN
Lynn is at her desk again. There’s a bag on a small bed and some items scattered around it.
She is writing, and mumbling again.
LYNN: “I have been unable to find out what this new mission is about, but I believe this Myles Million will be able to fill me in. I will act in the manner most fitting to my position while aboard the Anachrom. Sincerely, LM
OUTSIDE AIRSHIP DOCKS
Lynn stands on the city streets with a large bag in one hand and a few coins in the other.
People in FANCY DRESS walk by, chatting excitedly.
She looks curiously at one couple, mother and daughter, in matching outfits.
Lynn starts after them to catch their words.
WOMAN: "I can't wait, the new play should be quite exciting!"
DAUGHTER: "Let's not forget about the parade after, Mother. Everyone will be there, even the Anachron's Captain!"
Lynn frowns and steps out of the hustling crowd.
She looks from the crowd, to the Airships, the Pirate's ship in particular, which is setting off.
Lynn sets down her bag and sits down on it thoughtfully.
LYNN: (to herself)"Well, this is one way to get the people's attention off the Pirates."
She looks up and her eyes catch two PATROL MEN, strong and authoritative in blue and red uniforms, gazing through the crowds.
They smile amiably at the theater goers.
Another patrolman rushes up, this one with an insignia from the Airdocks.
The three speak quietly, then nod and depart.
Lynn raises her eyebrows.
Lynn: "Theater and parade, eh? Sounds like fun."
She stands and picks up her bags, dusting herself off as she scans for the best route to take.
Finally, she lifts her chin, adjusts her cap, and blends into the crowd.
OUTSIDE THE THEATER
A grand, ornate building with large paintings of actors in delicate Victorian costume lining the front wall.
Two familiar characters line the front wall too.
SYLVIAN: "This is some way to gather information..."
JAD: "You can go if you want. I'd rather work alone."
SYLVIAN: "Nah. I'll stay... if only to torture Myles a little more."
Jad gazes off into the crows, smirking.
Sylvian watches him with an assessing eye.
SYLVIAN: "See anything you like?"
JAD: "Yeah, can't take my eyes off them."
In the crowd, directly in Jad's view, three Patrol men meet, and walk through the crowds.
SYLVIAN: "I would if I were you. You don't know how much they saw."
JAD: "Yeah, but they may not be after me, Sylvian."
Jad winks at her and pulls her towards the crowd entering the Theater.
JAD: "But knowing my luck, it might be best to stay low for a bit. Looks like those pirates shook the Anachron's leadership up a little."
Sylvian shrugs and tugs Jad closer.
SYLVIAN: "As long as you fulfill your promise."
JAD: "Hey, give me a break, I'm a victim here!"
SYLVIAN: "I always hold people to their word."
Jad nervously adjusts his glasses and checks his scarf, making sure it's still wrapped around his neck.
The inside of the Theater is decorated in rich golds and reds. There's a concessions stand with a crowd around it, selling trinkets and a door in the very center where a ticket seller waits for the customers to make their purchase.
SYLVIAN: "... and here I thought the entertainment would be free."
JAD: "Relax. While we're here, we may as well enjoy the show."
Jad watches a few Patrol men enter with the crowd.
JAD: "Least' we become part of it."
(Posting semi-early. I will fix if I get anymore comments from SPI)
INT. THEATER
The lights dim and a MAN dressed in dark stage-clothes walks out with a title card: IN THE BEGINNING...
The audience is packed with fancy theater goers. Jad and Sylvian sit near the end of a row in the middle of the theater.
Jad leans over to Sylvian.
JAD: "I hope it's not all card style. I actually dislike plays like this quite a bit."
SYLVIAN: "So does my other half."
JAD: "You don't mean..."
Jad looks at her warily. Sylvian merely smiles innocently.
SYLVIAN: "Nah. I'll hang around a bit. He would only cop out and spoil the fun."
The next card is flipped over: THERE WAS WAR.
There's a huge EXPLOSION as the curtain opens dramatically. Actors in PEASANT clothing run around through a 'village' wailing as STAGE LIGHTS follow them.
Lynn starts and jumps to her feet at the sound and looks all around as if the theater itself might be under attack. She happens to be sitting right in front of Jad.
JAD: "Hey, down in front!"
Lynn comes back to herself and drops her face into her hand in embarrassment. She sits down and looks over her shoulder, studying the guy behind her in the dark.
LYNN: "Sorry. Just startled me is all..."
Jad half nods, not even look at her.
Sylvian elbows him.
SYLVIAN: "JAD, say something, he's apologizing!"
Jad looks at Sylvian, confused.
He then leans forward and squints at LYNN, trying to decide something.
JAD: "Ah... I suppose that's alright then. Just take it easy."
Lynn turns back around and slouches in her seat as Jad and Sylvian continue to whisper behind her.
SYLVIAN: "There, was that so bad?"
Jad shrugs.
JAD: "Only a girl."
SYLVIAN: "Only a girl? You sure? Looks like a guy to me."
JAD: "Trust me, I know these things Sylvian. If it were a guy I would be the one apologizing."
SYLVIAN: "No doubt that would be a good idea with all the wonderful people who you've cheated recently, Myles included."
LYNN stiffens and leans back slightly, listening a bit, but suddenly there's another EXPLOSION from the stage.
ON STAGE The man in stage clothes flips another card: WITH WAR, CAME PIRATES.
Pirates jump down from above and start after the villagers.
There's shrieks and shouts from the audience.
Villagers on stage die and remain fallen.
The man in stage clothes flips another card: WITH PIRATES CAME DEATH.
IN THE AUDIENCE Jad leans towards Sylvian again.
JAD: "Well, THIS has nothing to do with the current predicament, now does it?"
Sylvian laughs.
Lynn frowns at the performance and stands, exiting her aisle. She glances back at the people in the row behind her, taking note of them.
LYNN: (whispered): "Does this mean he knows Myles?"
She gets a wicked glint in her eye and hurries off.
ON STAGE
The man in stage clothes flips another card as a MAD SCIENTIST rushes to the fallen villagers with smoking SMOKING VIALS and sprinkles a bit on each of them. : WITH DEATH... COMES REBIRTH!
IN THE AUDIENCE Lynn turns to the stage just as she hears the crowd ROAR spiritedly. The villagers suddenly jump up, ghastly white and disappear into the corners of the 'town.'
LYNN: (to herself) "So the Anachron Captain thinks he can get away with anything... well, we'll see what they think of OUR Rebirth!"
She exits one of the doors to the Lobby.
Warnings for a long part. SPI rocks cause he was online when I sent this to him. <.< my apologies to Mylian if Myles IS in fact, in a dress. I forgot sweatdrop
INT. THEATRE, BACKSTAGE
The DIRECTOR, a short, grandiose woman, stands at the curtain’s edge and leafs though some NOTES.
DIRECTOR: “I think we’re making some headway…”
An Assistant, a short young boy in dark clothing, peeks over the Director’s shoulder.
ASSISTANT: “Headway?”
The Director SNAPS the notes at the Stage Hand.
DIRECTOR: (with stars in her eyes) “With the Captain’s great plans!”
The Assistant nods, nervous.
ASSISTANT: “Yes… they’re definitely engaged.”
DIRECTOR: ( suddenly deflated)“But it’s not enough.”
ASSISTANT: “It’s… not?”
The Director wraps an arm around the Assistant’s shoulders.
They walk off to the side in confidence as the play goes on.
Behind them, on the STAGE, the Mad Scientist runs from the Pirates, who chase him.
The Director studies the notes again. The Assistant tries to get a look.
DIRECTOR: “Yes… the Captain thinks Anachron has gotten… stuck. Like a cog wheel that hasn’t been replaced in awhile. We must shine it up! Give it some excitement!”
ASSISTANT: “Give the cog some excitement?”
The Director smacks the Assistant on the head with the notes.
DIRECTOR: “No, the people!”
There’s APPLAUSE as the curtain falls, ending the first act.
The Director shoves the Assistant out the side door…
DIRECTOR: “Go! Take notes on the Audience’s reaction! See if they are becoming… SHINEY!”
The door shuts.
The Assistant collides with Lynn.
They flail around momentarily.
LYNN: “AHH!”
ASSISTANT: “OOF! Oh, I’m terribly sorry, Sir!”
The Assistant cringes and bows to Lynn.
The Hallway around them is empty.
LYNN: “It’s ok… at least you apologized, unlike some people.”
The Assistant looks up, relieved.
ASSISTANT: “My pleasure.” He starts to wander off, then looks back.
Lynn looks around, as if lost.
ASSISTANT: “Can I… help you?”
LYNN: “Oh… I was just trying to find my way to find the director… to comment about the play.”
The Assistant perks up.
ASSISTANT: “Oh, you’re an audience member! Wonderful!”
Lynn stares at him, and the Assistant stares back. Awkward silence…
ASSISTANT: “Sir, Could I ask you… what you thought of it?”
LYNN: “Well… It was-“
ASSISTANT: “-Did-it-make-you-feel-shiny?”
LYNN: “WHAT?!”
The Assistant flushes, embarrassed.
ASSISTANT: “You see… the director asked me to find out if the people felt invigorated by the play… spruced up… shiny…”
LYNN: “Invigorated? By a bland pirate attack that’s obviously aimed to shake the hearts of the complacent people living on this flying hunk of…“ Lynn fades off as she sees the Assistant’s wide eyes.
LYNN: “Never mind… Anyway, I had an idea to liven things up a bit… really.
ASSITANT: ”REALLY?!”
LYNN: “Really. Now, would you be so kind as to pass on a message to the Director? I happened to be sitting in front of two individuals who seemed rather desensitized to the whole thing. Perhaps if we were to… y’know… involve the audience more…”
Behind the two, the door is open a crack. The Director is peeking out.
ASSISTANT: “You mean… audience participation? I’m not sure that’s possible, Sir.”
LYNN: “It wouldn’t be much. Merely shake them up a bit and FEEL the action a bit. Such a thing would definitely leave a lasting impression.”
ASSISTANT: “Hmm… that sounds… it sounds…”
DIRECTOR: “BRILLIANT!”
The door bursts open and the Director wraps her arms around Lynn and the Assistant, frightening them.
DIRECTOR: “You, (looking at Lynn) you MUST have the creative spirit BURNING inside you to have thought up such an idea!”
LYNN: “Well… you could say that ‘acting’ is right down my ally.”
ASSISTANT: “But are you sure the Captain would approve of such an act in this fine play?”
The Director ignores the Assistant and takes both of them though the door to the backstage.
DIRECTOR: “Come, explain more to me, and we shall prepare the actors for the start of act, two!”
IN THE AUDIENCE
Jad leans back in his chair, bored. In his hands is the small red box Myles gave him earlier.
JAD: “Hey, you think it would be safe if I split after the show to finish installing this?”
SYLVIAN: “You worried about their head start?”
JAD: “No, I’m thinking that after this play, the patrolmen will be too busy escorting everyone home to worry about a guy like me.”
SYLVIAN: “I doubt it. Somehow I don’t think the pirate episode earlier will be forgotten so easily.”
JAD: (he frowns) “I have the Captain of all Anachron to thank for that. What a time for a play like this… it’s like he planned it all.”
Sylvian yawns and shoves her hands into her pockets, letting her chin rest on her shirt collar.
SYLVIAN: “Yep. Something’s happening.”
She glances at Jad innocently.
Jad glares back.
JAD: “… You started it.”
SYLVIAN: “Just keep telling yourself that, and maybe someday someone will believe it when you say something WASN’T originally your fault.”
The curtains rise, but the stage is empty.
The audience members are confused.
JAD: “Hey… they’re… gone.”
SYLVIAN: “Huh?”
She jerks her head up, but as the face is visible, it’s Myles.
MYLES: “WHAT THE DEVIL IS GOING ON HERE?”
Jad smirks and pats Myles on the back.
JAD sad to himself) “At least his words weren’t outta place when he came back.” (to Myles) “Welcome back, buddy. We were just enjoying a play.”
MYLES: “JAD! WHAT AM I-”
He looks around as he gets up and immediately trips over Jad and the feet of another audience member.
Jad winces.
JAD: “Yeah. It’s a good one too, but the view’s better from up here.”
Myles gets to his feet and grumpily fixes his clothing.
MYLES: “We. Are leaving. NOW!”
Jad looks up at innocently. But not innocently enough.
JAD: “But… there’s all these patrol men out there and making spectacles of ourselves after that run in with the pirates wouldn’t be suggested. And leaving would definitely be making a spectacle.”
Myles stares down at Jad.
MYLES: “… Sylvian, right?
Jad smiles.
Suddenly the doors of the Auditorium burst open. Actors dressed as realistic looking Pirates rush in and start terrorizing the audience.
JAD: “What the…”
MYLES: ”Pirates?!”
Clearly confused, Myles hauls Jad up and starts for an exit, trying to dodge people and pirates.
Jad tries to calm him.
JAD: “Myles, I don’t think they’re real pir-“
MYLES: “Enough. I’m not listening to anymore of your banter!”
JAD: “Right. Over drinks then.”
Myles shoots him an incredulous look.
They stop in the middle of the aisle.
MYLES: “You…”
Just then a Pirate walks up behind them and puts his hands on Myles’s shoulder.
It’s Lynn, but they don’t know it.
LYNN: “You… are coming with me.”
Another pirate comes up behind Jad.
The two men are pulled towards the stage.
Myles searches himself for some sort of weapon, but finds nothing he’s able to use.
In desperation, he struggles and looks over at Jad, who’s going along with the whole thing.
JAD: “At least… I don’t THINK they’re real.”
Myles slumps in Lynn’s arms.
MYLES: “Why me…”
Mylian Oh yes, at that point Myles would be wearing whatever Sylvian had been wearing. mrgreen I believe Sylvian appeared rather abruptly when she and Jad went to meet the pirates. If they had time to change before the theater... well, lets leave that up to the artists and hope they aren't ... stare well YOU know.
I'm loving the story so far but i noticed something that disturbed me a bit. one line is SYLVIAN: “First of all, I want information. I know the Pirates of the Purple Wing have contacts throughout space.” This is steampunk and yes theres all sorts of awesome steam powered vehicles and devices but its still set in the victorian era. I think that space travel doesnt seem at home in steampunk. Sorry to moan so heres a smiley :{|
