"A is correct. Future bickering will be resolved by us," Lionel declared. "It's pointless and there's no time for it. Come on, let's go." After some discussion, it was decided that Michelle would be going with Jon and Finnegan and A, while Kevin would be going with M, Schraeder, and Adela. They moved into the snow.
The storm had gotten worse, and the colors swirled about them. Sometimes it seemed like they were biting at them - as though the Sigil auras were attacking them. It didn't do anything other than make them a little chillier, though, and normal snow did that anyway.
The ground they were sweeping was fairly empty. They happened upon buildings occasionally, but very little in the way of life appeared in them. The cold became more discouraging as they trudged through deep snow banks and dragged themselves over the occasional barbed wire fence.
However, when they ran into a hangar, they realized they might have gotten on to something.
"The hell is there an airport here?!" Kevin shouted over the wind. He approached the hangar first, leaving the others to trail along. Jon, Finnegan, and A likewise discovered a well-sized, snow-encased hangar.
It struck both parties at about the same time that they hadn't actually run into anyone here, or any blinking lights, but it was an airport. Airports ran lights even in snowstorms.
---
"Keep... holding..." The Thief growled through his teeth to the Hosts. "This is absurd. I'm going to beat that woman like she had never experienced before. I am going to - dammmmmmmmit!" He kicked the ground; it served no purpose but to make him angrier.

"This is absurd," Agent M declared. "Do we even know where the ******** we are?" Nonetheless, he followed Kevin to the hangar.

A didn't say much when going out in the snow. He was surprised by the snow-encased hangar when their group had found it. "The hell?" he murmured.
Adela was busy cursing both in spanish and english. Stupid weather. Why freakin' Canada?! She had a bit of trouble with the snow, but managed to follow Kevin to the hangar.

Clarissa looked at the Thief with a bit of worry and went over to him. "Please don't be mad. I'm sure she has a good reason for not being here by now." She hesitantly patted the Thief's arm.

Jon glanced at Agent A and his shared surprise at finding an operating structure in this frozen landscape.
"In any event, it is the only building in the nearby vicinity that I have seen, it would be wise to investigate, if for no other reason than to temporarily escape the very blizzard that seems to almost be attacking us."

Both parties approached the hangar and entered from opposite ends - they could now see each other across the way, more or less.
There were aircraft in here - mostly personal prop-driven ones, Cessnas and their ilk. A single Learjet broke the monotony.
A few offices were walled off near the back. There weren't any lights on anywhere in here, but they were lucky enough to all be capable of unusual vision. There didn't appear to be anyone here, but it sounded like there was a TV on or some people talking in the offices.
---
The Thief nodded slowly, digging his fingers into his eyes. "Sorry. She's just got a way of... guh. I suppose I should explain who, but I really don't feel like it, since she'll just tell you again. Any minute now..."

A nodded at Jon's words, having already thought the same thing.
Adela was quiet and hugging herself. She was slowly getting warmed by escaping the cold.
Clarissa didn't say much, seeing as the Thief's friend would soon arrive.

In a stroke of irony neither would ever fully appreciate, Elizabeth and Agent M spoke in unison: "So... what now?"

The Thief ran a hand down his face again. "I guess we..." His thought was interrupted by what was unmistakably an explosion. The Thief's face brightened. "We go that way! Good," The Thief added. As he began to walk, the sphere of melted snow and warmth began to follow him, forcing the Hosts to accompany him.
As they walked, they approached a hanger whose rear corner was blown out.
---
The explosion could be explained by observing what happened to the group of Eves and Agents gathered in the hanger.
"Sure, we'll go together," Kevin suggested. "Actually, let's just walk over - it'll be safer that way, dunno what it's like on the inside." They walked over to the offices, which were just that - offices with some sort of recreation room further back, presumably for the people who ran this airport. They could see through the door that the lights weren't on in here either, but the TV had been hooked up. Schraeder stopped to examine the offices as Kevin began moving into the rec room.
It struck Schraeder just a moment too late that all the light switches he could see were flipped to the "on" position.
By that time, there had been a chorus of shouts, only one of which belonged to Kevin. Immediately after, the building was rocked by an explosion, and only by the timely decision to teleport out to the rest of the Eves was Schraeder spared some manner of injury as that corner of the building collapsed. Snow again began to blow in, blurring their view of what had just occurred.
However, those responsible were obviously not eager to let it go at that, as a blade of energy distressingly similar to Lizzie's burst up through the rubble, shortly followed by a heavily dressed figure. This figure jumped into the air as various others began crawling out of the wreckage. The one floating in the air examined the stunned Hosts, Adams, and Eves, before apparently coming to a decision and launching a hefty barrage of what seemed like Sigil-based missiles.
Of course nothing was easy.
---
"And that's her," The Thief declared, pointing to someone floating in the hole cut in the hanger by the explosion. "Looks like the others are inside - you guys ready to fight? It'll get a bit chilly, but if you keep moving you should be fine. If you get too cold, lemme know, and we'll do something about that." The Thief continued moving the sphere towards the rubble, drawing his knife and gathering his mind.

Adela stared at the missiles. "...are you shitting me?!" First thought: RUN. She was ready to run for her ever-loving life. I'm never going to a party like Mike's ever again. Ever. She was starting to panic - having someone attack her was fine. She couldn't fight a freakin' missile. She saw one of the missiles hit the ground. Okay. The explosions aren't as big as a grenade. So running and dodging will work!
A, on the other hand, tensed up at the sight of the missiles. "This is a predicament." In the normal English language, his words would be interpreted as, "OMGWTF!?" But this was A - a man that rarely ever panics. He saw one of the missiles (the same one Adela had seen) hit the ground and figured out their range of explosion - it wasn't terribly big. We can dodge these missiles. So long as he was careful to dodge and stay away from the range, he'd be move forward and fight the enemy.
Clarissa followed after the Thief with some amount of nervousness. They were about to meet a girl who blew up part of a building with no problem at all - and from the sound of her, she seemed to like drama.

Elizabeth followed the Thief, not knowing really what else to do.
Is the only thing we're going to do for the rest of our lives be fighting?
--
Agent M groaned with irritation as he rolled away from a missile, his hands melting away into Slaughterfists as he rose to his feet. "How pleasant," he muttered, trying to identify a way to get to their opponent, who was several times more "flying" than he was.

Schraeder's heart was absolutely pounding as he made it back to the others. "Kevin might be alive in there!" he said. He wanted so badly to teleport back there and see, but those...people? Those people were coming out of the wreckage, and there was no way that Schraeder could take them alone.
Wait. He wasn't alone!
"Hey! M!" Schraeder shouted as he ran towards the Host-Agent. A missile flew over his head and he ducked, turning it into a blink as the missile struck the ground in front of him. He appeared on the other side of the explosion, sliding to a halt in front of M.
"If I get you into the air, can you get that crazy missilebitch?" He waited anxiously for a response.

"Heh, this is gonna be good..." Jesse said with a certain ammount of sarcasm to back him up. It seemed that at every turn, there was to be some sort of turmoil. Some sort of situation that made him want so badly to return to his old life, where he was a student in highschool, and nothing more.
What is to become of this? How is this chapter going to end? Whatever way it went, he was sure that he was going to back up his new comrades, no matter how much his better judgement nagged at him. This was his new family now, and he would do all he could to help protect them.

It struck the Eves that this was a bit of a bad situation. While the Adams must have heard, they only had two who were actually here, and one of them was missing, possibly in the pile of rubble.
Luckily, the one they had left seemed plenty competent. Michelle wove a sort of pattern, a graceful, beautiful dance, just in between the missiles, pushing those which she could not avoid aside where they detonated harmlessly. As she got closer, her aura expanded outward, then began to point in a direction, and then - she put out her hand towards the figure floating above -
The figure there dropped like a stone for no apparent reason, bouncing off the rubble and rolling to the concrete below, where she picked herself up and fired a solid beam of what appeared to be red light. It struck Michelle dead in the chest, and the girl spun away, ricocheting off a biplane and grabbing its propeller for balance.
One of the other figures began rushing forward, aiming specifically for Schraeder. He didn't appear to be wielding a weapon, but he was bounding low across the ground and looked rather dangerous.
---
"Over the hill!" The Thief suggested. "I'm going to catch up on what's going on here - I think you gents and ladies can handle yourselves this time around, there're only a few and you've got plenty of reinforcements."
Catch up on what's going on? Didn't he... know?
