Dhiren sighed and let his head hang a little, hearing her begin with the things he knew would come up. He had botched their first day together, and she seemed to think she was the problem. "Stupid..." He growled softly, covering the trembling fingertips at his cheek with his own hand, "Of course I don't hate you. I'm here, aren't I?"

Whatever cool, cocky joke he had ready on his tongue fled from his mind at her sudden admittance. His eyes snapped wide open and something caught in his throat. For a moment, all he could do was stare at her in shocked uncertainty, his heart speeding up in his chest. Realizing she was expecting an answer, an honest report of his own feelings, Dhiren's surprise melted away and his lips tightened momentarily. "Alice... You torture yourself needlessly." He closed his eyes again, his bangs falling over them, "I'm just an idiot who can't seem to handle himself in the presence of others... even when..."

Opening his eyes slightly, he stared down at the distraught beauty in his lap with a softness that was foreign to his features. "Even when I really want to be near the person I chose to spend my day with." His stomach began getting that weird squirmy feeling in it again; he did his best to ignore it. He sighed again and held the female's gaze, his own growing more intense. "I've never been in love before, and I won't claim to know anything about it." He began, unable to return her honest feelings so simply, "You are the first cat besides myself that I've ever given a damn about, though. I... care about you; what you think and how you see me. I'm truly a fool, so loving me will be difficult. I want to stand by you, but I won't have you beating yourself up over every mistake I make..." The tom tore his gaze away from her face, shooting a slight glare off to the side, "You shouldn't have to endure that; especially not on my behalf."

Dhiren blinked at her and rolled his eyes a little with a smile. The tom nodded though, "Slow would be best, I think..." Not more than a few breaths after he had said that was the female climbing into his lap. His ears perked up and his arms jerked up to encircle her lightly; he could feel her wobble on his lap, and her weight rested heavily against him. His heart thumped hard and fast against him rib cage, and he gripped her hips gently. "Learning everything about me...We will have to go slowly on that as well..." He smiled when she admitted to thinking of him and worrying about what he'd think. Still, his face flushed and he raised his head a bit when he found her nuzzling into his neck. Certain she'd be able to feel his quickened pulse there, he raised his arms around her shoulders and simply hugged her close. "If that's what you want, then I won't leave you again, alright?" His rumbling voice was low, quiet, trembling from his chest into hers, "I am content to remain with you, for as long as you'll allow it."

He nuzzled the top of her head, kissing one of her furry ears lightly. His tail flickered a moment before wrapping around the both of them warmly. Trapped in his chest, for the moment, his heart thundered happily.

Dhiren's low, deep purr began rolling from his chest, truly displaying how satisfied he was to simply have the female in his embrace. He met her gaze with relief glowing gently in his, and leaned down to bump his forehead against hers. "Trust is something earned... if you can trust me, I think I can return the favor." He murred quietly, then chuckled, "And the only way I'll be disappearing is in the event of my untimely passing, Woman." The orange tom's fur tingled as the female in his arms drew on his chest and wrapped her tail about him. His heart still beat strongly for her and he kept his arms locked around her. Their eyes met again when she tilted her head back to look up at him. His purr sputtered to a stop for the moment while he gazed at her quietly. Slowly, as if in a trance by the silent, questioning gaze, the Somali tom lowered his head and pressed his lips gently against hers. The emotion that he couldn't express clearly to himself or her, flowed freely in his actions.

Dhiren was oblivious to the opening and closing of the door. His head hit the bed, just under the pillow and he blinked at Alice, one ear crushed awkwardly under it. Almost immediately, his face heated immensely and he swallowed hard, feeling her curl into him. "A-Alice..." He began, his voice coming out in a wavering mew. The orange tom was still holding her as the two snuggled in the bed. If her position in his lap hadn't been bad enough, laying in bed with the female was threatening to push the tom's thoughts into places they shouldn't be. The sensible part of his brain tried reasoning with him; he didn't get worked up at all when they shared Alice's 'den' the previous night, so what was different?

His tail flicked against the bed a few times behind him, thumping softly against the sheets. Nervously, the male fidgeted a bit, his free ear flopping back. "What if that jerk, Aidan comes back in here... I can just hear him now..." Dhiren trailed off, thinking of the jeering comments about how he finally figured out how to treat a woman that he would surely get from the siberian. He fidgeted a little more against her.

Dhiren relaxed some at the kneading in his shoulders, but his mind still raced with thoughts that he knew shouldn't be there. His heart sped up to a dizzying pace until so much blood was surging through his head that he was certain it would explode. The feeling of her claws very gently grazing his back and working his muscles made his skin tingle and his fur fluff up. The heat radiating from her body, mingling with his own, and her scent all around him, it was beginning to make him loose his mind. She did little more than lay with him and talk, and yet, he could feel his resolve slipping, just like that first night they met. That night where he had just barely pulled himself back from that dangerous line.

This time was different. She was curled tightly against him, pinning one arm with her weight; the circumstances had changed. Her lips met his in a fleeting kiss, a rumble fluttering briefly in his throat. Amber eyes fell half lidded as he stared at her, unconsciously beginning to breath harder with the strain she was putting on his mind and body. Half a million thoughts were racing through the fiery tom's head, and very few of them honorable. "Woman... Alice... We should get up..." He growled, his voice trembling slightly with his straining resistance, "You're... We're going to find trouble if you keep this up." His face was blushing heavily as he stared at her. Behind her back, his own hands had unconsciously taken a grip on her clothes. Dhiren's tail had fallen still some time ago, only trembling slightly every now and then.

Ever so slightly, Dhiren's back arched at the female's provocative caresses. Both ears managed to slip back, clinging to his head. "You... tempt me carelessly, woman..." He hissed through clenched teeth, rolling slightly on the shoulder of the pinned arm and drawing himself closer to her. His hands slid up her back, taking the portions of clenched dress with them, and he uttered a husky growl before claiming her lips again. A ferocious passion escaped him then, his arms tightening around the smaller female and his lips pressed hard to hers. Without thinking or realizing what he was doing, the tom's tongue lapped at her lips, begging to deepen the already heated liplock. The Somali's bushy tail suddenly flickered back to life again, lashing against the bed a few times. His chest began to rise and fall visibly, the air between them becoming sparse and shared. Dhiren lifted himself just a little more on his shoulder, and managed to roll the two of them just enough that he was able to hover half-way over Alice, propped up on an elbow. The whole time, his lips scarcely parted from hers. "...Wonder..." He growled, panting and drawing himself only the slightest distance from her for the moment, "Do you realize.... what you're getting into?"

A fanged smirk crossed his lips briefly, then he nipped at those of the woman beneath him before placing one kiss just to the side of her mouth and continuing on to n** at her neck. His tail blazed fire as it swished at the air behind.

Dhiren, enjoying the feeling of the woman beneath him, continued his administration of nips and licks until a persistent tugging forced him back. Growling with frustration, the tom leaned back and whipped an arm over his head, aiding in the removal of the shirt that seemed to have been a problem. Taking only a moment to let his eyes roam over the beautiful Somali before him, he leaned forward again, both arms snaking about the small of her back and lifting her torso up. Hooking his thumbs into the fabric that had already risen and bunched at her hips, Dhiren removed the dress with a quick, impatient tug and flung it across the room.

With his limbs free to do with as he willed again, the tom laid her back and followed closely. In their brief interlude, he had found his way completely over her, straddling her hips and letting his hands explore the newly exposed skin. Beyond thinking any longer, the Somali tom was working purely on instinct, his clawtips poking out just a bit and grazing over the sensitive flesh of the female's stomach and working up towards her bosom. He continued to kiss at her neck while the exploration continued. This was it; he had completely given in to that feral urge that had inexplicably drawn them together at their first meeting. The only thing left to prevent the inevitable were the now-wrinkled slacks clinging to the male's hips.

Dhiren didn't remain asleep much longer after the female removed herself from his arms. Groggy, he cracked open his eyes and growled at her, stretching his arms out after her fleeting form. "G't back he'r.... w'man..." His eyes slid shut again and his arms fell limp as he drifted off once more. He rested in that half-awake state until Alice opened the door to the chorus of catcalls and slammed it shut again. Dhiren's ears flicked and he opened his eyes once more, gazing about the room until he spotted his female by the door. "'Morning." He yawned, flashing her a grin and stretching languidly. The tom was sleepy, but completely relaxed from the events of the previous night. His expression was almost disappointed when he realized she had already redressed herself. Even so, the tom pushed himself into a seated position on the bed, the blankets and sheets falling to pool in his lap. He yawned again and ran a hand through his tousled hair. "What's for breakfast...?" Dhiren seemed to still be half asleep, not realizing that they were still in the feline base at Kokitsu Plaza.
