i suppose if we don't fill in the later months, i would be willing to work on another one. since me and bidelle are up in january, once that is done there will be sometime afterwards to work on later ones.
have we decided how release will work? one a month digitally or a printed deal?

Oooo! I'd be up for April or a collab-- I'd prefer to work with a colorist though since I suck at it.

Hey everyone! I've been gone from the guild for awhile, a long while, but I want to get back into it. So can I do a month? I'd like December since its my birth month if possible. BTW nice going with the changes and stuff to get the forum more active.

Is there a certain style in regards to calendar format ? Are we doing it ourselves, or is someone doing that part ?
Either way, I can easily do it through Adobe Illustrator.
P.S. This is for 2010 right ?

I'd love to do april, and I'd love to do a collab with someone. I dunno if I have time to make something epic and calendar worthy on my own, but if I got to do the coloring/rendering I could totally rock it.

I just noticed I'm after Josh. Thats a tough act to follow. Lol actually I'm after everyone aren't I. Gotta think up something good... Right now I think it's best to focus on the illustration aspect and then determine what kind of media to present it. Printed would be the best but then it gets a little tricky by terms on where to get it printed, how the money will be distributed and etc. Lemme know if you want to go solo and/or want to collaborate on a month. Sorry for the late update you guys! I got struck down with a flu bug :/

Spork realized tonight that we never officially decided on resolution/dimensions for our calendar pieces. In order to keep it looking sharp for print, we decided we should all at least be working at 8.5 x 11" @ 300 dpi (or 11 x 8.5" landscape), or 2550 x 3300 pixels. Also, for those collaborating and sending large files back and forth, I recommend using dropbox: https://www.getdropbox.com/referrals/NTYzNzg5NDkAfter installing dropbox, save the file you want to share in the "Public" folder of "My Dropbox". Once it's finished automatically uploading, it will have a green check mark on it. Then you can right-click the file, select dropbox->copy public link, and use that link to share. There are other ways to collaborate with dropbox too, but I haven't tried them out. Also if you sign up with that link, I get an extra 250mb space in mine, w00t! But if you want, you can just go get it from the homepage and deny me that :b
