Jeffery set Kat down as the cop pulled up, though he stayed near her, watching Lincoln and the cop as Lincoln apparently knew him.
Jeffery glanced down at Lincoln's hand on him, glanced back up at him and the knife, and threw a heavy right hook at his face, unphased by the slowing.

Lincoln deserved the hook he had gotten, so it took Rook just a second to long to react. YOu know... Just long enough for the punch to land, before Rook rushed to Jeffery, pulling him to the side, forcing him up against the SUV side. "Sir, I need you to calm down. You called down a lotta trouble me and the girl really don't need, and if you play along for a little while, we might just be able to get out of this before more people like him show up." Rook whispered to Jeffery, quiet enough so no one else could hear, but raised his voice for what he said next, "Hands behind your back! NOW!"

Kat, not knowing the cop was Rook, turned and tried to run as Jeffery was pushed against the wall.
Linc let out a frustrated growl, pulling himself from the ground with a burst of speed. He grabbed Kat by the back of her hair, pulling her to him, his knife hand hidden from any onlookers behind Kat's back and his power keeping her from struggling. He'd intended to stab her right away, but something paused him (most likely ED being nice--because he so would take the kill right now),"Rook, dispose of that one. He's got some sort of resistance, and we can't have that. I'll take care of Kat. Later we'll send a 'news crew' to interview the witnesses to the 'drug bust.'"

There's people here, witnesses to a pair of cops plugging some innocents on the street. Let's go somewhere secluded."

"What's one druggie passing out in the hold of a cop, Rook? Happens all the time?" He gave Kat a shallow stab with his knife but still held back, resigning to Rook's point. "We'll take them to the boat. Drive it out to sea...then take it slow. It'll give a good dumping ground when finished." His smile sharpened, "If you'd rather, I can do the dirty work on my own, and you can head back home."
For the most part their conversation was covered by the rushing sound of a fountain next to the parking lot.

Jeffery grunted as he got shoved against the car, knocking the air into his lungs, as it were.
Jeffery didn't bother explaining himself; after the brief exchange, it was clear Rook and Lincoln were together. He instead brought up his hand while they were talking jamming two fingers at Rook's eyes.

Arch the Angel Jeffery grunted as he got shoved against the car, knocking the air into his lungs, as it were. Jeffery didn't bother explaining himself; after the brief exchange, it was clear Rook and Lincoln were together. He instead brought up his hand while they were talking jamming two fingers at Rook's eyes. Of course, Rook wasn't stupid enough to leave his hands unheld. Jeffery struggled, and was met with his head getting bounced off the side of the SUV.

"If you keep up the struggling, I'll drop the girl right here and now." Linc said, looking over to Jeffery. "Get him in the vehicle, Rook."

Jeffery stumbled slightly at the knock to the head, finding himself dazed more often than he'd appreciate in one day. He focused on Lincoln and the knife at the girl's throat and conceded, nodding his head, deciding to wait for his chance.

Lincoln chuckled, "Tie him, and get him in the car, Rook. We're heading to the boat." Linc got into the SUV as well, deciding to pick up his car later. Kat was pushed into the back with Jeffery, still out of it, her breathing shallow.

Kat was pushed into the back with Jeffery, still out of it, her breathing shallow. Before tossing Jeffery in the back with Kat, Rook took a moment to rummage for something to tie Jeffery's hands down with. He couldn't very well keep him from fighting while driving. After having zip-tied Jeffery's hands, Rook took the driver's seat, and headed towards the docks.

The boat was a small sized yacht, owned and used by the keepers. The dock was also fairly private, though Linc made sure to call ahead and have it cleared. He smiled, stepping out of the vehicle, and glanced over at Rook. "She's a fun girl to take out fishing now and then, a b***h in a storm though." His smile darkened further as he looked back at Kat and Jeffery. "Ready for this?"

Rook followed, hauling Jeffery along, staying behind the other two, whispering to him quietly. "I'm going to loosen your wrist ties. I won't fight back, just knock us off the boat and get the hell out of dodge once we're out to sea."

Jeffery didn't know why Rook was doing what he was doing, but wasn't complaining about any part of his plan, including the punching.
