World Setting: Evelyn Glades [ My story is going to rely heavily on the title I chose so yeah... You can modify it if I win if you want. o wo ]
Backstory: The world was slowly dieing...
That much was certain. As the days passed the world slowly deteriorated. The vegetation took longer to ripen, the flowers took longer to blossom, and the grass was no longer lush and vibrant. Everyone was suffering because of the abrupt rarity of available resources. That's when the goddess, Evelyn, knew it was time to move on. The planet would only hold out so much longer, and they desperately needed a new home before the planet reached its inevitable end.
And that was what led her to discover their new home. She'd left her careful watch on the planet to inspect other suitable new homes for her beloved children. And that was when she discovered Gaia. The small planet not too far off from their world. It was a lovely place, really. There were abundant trees and flowers, however, with that there were also abundant cities and buildings. If they were to live on Gaia they'd need to be able to hide from man when necessary.
With that resolve she explored a nearby forest, and that's when she discovered the glade. Hidden in the rough forest was the beautiful glade. Its size, enough to start a city of its own. With that she returned to her planet and sent her most trust advisers to survey the glade. To make sure it really was unoccupied and suitable for life. They'd confirmed her hopes so then came the task of moving everyone to the glade. Their new home.
She knew there was only one way to do this, so she gathered everyone together on their planet and told them of their new home on Gaia. None of them protested, and most of them even looked happy about it. And so, Evelyn used her powers to send them all to the glade. That feat drained her of more than half her strength. And with the remaining, she cast a spell on the glade and the forest around it. She made it so that if a human should wander into the forest they wouldn't be able to find the glade. But with that, she also made it so that the fawn of the glade could venture out of the glade and forest if they so wished, and they would be able to return with ease.
The feat had drained her of her energy and so she fell into a soft coma. Her advisers took her to the clouds just about the glades so that she could forever guard the glade, even in her sleep. Though legend has it that the blessed would be able to communicate with their goddess in their dreams.
Are they on Gaia now? Yes
If so, how did they get here? Well, the goddess of all the fawns, Evelyn, had discovered a secret glade hidden in Gaia one day. She'd sent out a few of her most trusted advisers to survey the glade to check for compatibility and once that was confirmed she used the majority of her powers to send their world to the glade. [ This is merely a rough summary. The actual story will be more elaborate. ]
