"It's why I'm asking you. I promised I'd try my best to make our meeting worthwhile. I think you'd enjoy this." Which honestly, should be an honor by all accounts. Tristen didn't take girls to places. Normally he'd just charm them on the spot.

"I'm not going anywhere until you at least tell me what it is you want me to see." How could he have any idea of what she'd enjoy? They'd only met today.

He had half a mind to say dragnid, just to be funny. but wisely decided that she was not the type to jest with. "A waterfall." He spoke softly, earnestly. His entire body seemed to soften with the admission, amber eyes gentle. "Powerful...beautiful...dangerous...yet it doesn't need to tell you that. Reminds me of you."

A waterfall? Why would he want to show her a waterfall? She snorts softly. Reminds you of me indeed. They'd met only a few moments ago, and yet he acts as if they had been friends from the cradle. This man was all emotion and no logic. All dreams and no rationale.
Still, a waterfall could be a good place to meditate.
"Alright," she says finally.

Funny how she had pegged him so perfectly when she thought it was impossible so quickly. The pae was simply, completely and totally, emotion. He still didn't understand why he couldn't feed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to toddlers. He smiled his brightest smile all day, seemingly delighted. It looked like she was starting to turn around! He was winning! He started to offer an arm before quickly reconsidering. She wasn't a fairy-tale type of girl. Tristen might forever have his head in the clouds, but he was an excellent judge of character. "right this way, my dear Elizabeth." With that, he happily started walking again, spirits up.

Elizabeth smiles only a little. "Alright, then." She follows him. "Please don't call me 'my dear'. Makes me feel like a child."

His first smile from her! YES! Tiny, but there. "How about Lady Elizabeth? Beautiful? Your name is so elegant it deserves it's own title." The male chuckled softly at his own humor. Not exactly all charm there. Elizabeth was the most elegant name he had ever encountered, and since she didn't want it shortened...Well, he had to put his own special twist with it. Something to remember him by.

Elizabeth makes a little face. "If you insist, I suppose. I think Elizabeth on its own is fine, though." Seriously? Its own title? You're trying too hard.

Trying too hard...getting too excited...Many people always misjudged Tristen. It was easy to when he disregarded all intellelect and acted however he wished. "I'll think on it." He mused, rubbing the bottom of his chin. "Your name reminds me of my sisters...So, it is extra special." A moment of sadness, pure and fleeting, flashed across his eyes. Always did at mention of his sister.

"How does it remind you of your sister?" asks Elizabeth, tilting her head slightly. Her cropped hair swishes over her shoulder. "I haven't heard of anyone else named Elizabeth, or anything like it, really."
