Kai heard the footsteps approaching one after another, the footsteps were light. It was most likely the female that had been standing not far off. Man I can't be seen just laying here like a fool.. I have to come up with some way to make this look less embarrassing.His memory was transfixed to that day in class when he mastered the Bunshin no Jutsu. Jutsu Learned Here Using this jutsu Kai managed to create a clone of himself in the place where he was laying. He then managed to quietly move to a better location.((Clone actions)) Folding one leg slightly under he managed to make a feeble attempt at looking as though he was just lazily lying upon the ground. When the footsteps had ceased Kai took a quick glance in the direction the noise had been traveling. His thoughts were correct it was the konoichi from before, She appeared to be a genin as well, for her age wouldn't seem fit for a jounin, From the headband displayed as her belt it was apparent that she was a genin of the same village. Feeling slightly more relaxed Kai reached for her hand. Once the hand had reached the image in front of her the clone blurred and disipated into the air. Kai himself came walking casually up the side." Uh, Hi there, the name is Kaizuru, but feel free to call me Kai. Might I ask for your name? I don't quite remember you from the academy." I hope she wasn't in the same class as me.. that would be quite embarrassing.. that may even hurt her feelings if I didn't remember her; although, I'm pretty sure most wouldn't remember me either. I wasn't exactly the shining star of the class.. nor was I very popular.Blue text = Edited

OOC: Normal bunshins like that wouldn't be able to be helped up like that at all. The second someone touched it it would immediately vanish due to the fact that it carries no substance, and it wouldn't be able to fool anybody due to its lack of a shadow. It can't even say anything, or make any noise of any kind (no footsteps, no anything). Basically, I'm just saying her being able to help up the bunshin is impossible, and it most likely wouldn't fool her since normal bunshins are only useful for confusing people in a fight so his plan to try to look cool or something is doomed to failure razz lol

OOC: It wasn't the clone that made any noises. On top of that the clone was lying on the ground, so unless she is actively looking for a shadow underneath a body so close to the ground it shouldn't be an issue. Also I did edit it so that it didn't get helped up but rather disapeared after her hand connected with the image. Thanks for the advice.

Just lots of people forget that little detail about the Bunshin no Jutsu... myself included haha that was embarrassing. And I was a Nara too. Completely embarrassing xD

Ayame backed a way a bit, watching as the boy disappeared like he was never even there. Was it some sort of trick? Was he trying to pull something? She glanced around, looking for anything suspicious. Searching upon the skies, beyond the trees, and within the green grass. But nothing. A few seconds after she had heard his voice once again, turning to where it had been coming from. It was defiantly the same genin look a like she had seen before. Except, he wasn't lieing down. He seemed to be walking up to her before greeting her. She couldn't help but smile, the way he introduced himself was a pretty neat way. Getting her to be confused, and searching for him, was a pretty funny way to greet someone. And his confidence was totally a ten out of ten.
"Hey Kai!"
She smiled once more, waving as that was her way of greeting others.
"My name is Ayame. Oh man, the academy. The best time of my life. I dont think any of the teachers liked me.
Ayame was thinking if there would have been any, but she couldn't think of one. It was mostly because she was such a prankster. The teachers would likely get sick of that. And the whole leaving class early. She turned her attention back to Kai, after thinking of such wondrous days.
"I don't believe we were in the same class..I mean if you don't remember. I can have such a terrible memory at times. So I'm no help at remembering. If you can recall a prankster, it may have been me. And we may then have been in the same class."

SlimShady777 OOC: I'd say a little lol. As a Nara you can actively give your clones shadows too. As an aburame I may be able to use my insects as a way to produce a face shadow, it's a stretch but if caught off guard the senses of an opponent could possibly be weakened enough for it to work.

Kai grinned at her odd waving and smiling. She was definitely a friendly girl that's for sure. It was nice to be greeted so warmly after his long life of cold shoulders and odd looks. It was a little.. unnerving to tell the truth. It was a feeling Kai wished he could get used to. "I don't believe I remember anyone playing many pranks in class. Then again I wasn't very attentive back then. To go back now I may have payed more attention, but I wasn't much liked in the academy either. More by the students than the teachers." Kai debated hiding the reason from her. The last thing he wanted to do was to chase such a nice person away. She may be ok with it. I mean she seams so nice, she wouldn't just turn and run on me like the others... but what if she does. I'll be left all alone again. NO! I am of the great Aburame Clan. I must be proud of who I am. Kai raised his hands and allowed a small cloud of insects to raise from his sleeves. They flew around him in circles only landing for a few seconds before flying back into his sleeves. "You see I'm one of the Aburame clan.. and insects don't fare well with kids.. especially girls."Kai watched carefully ready to brace himself for what ever response Ayame offered.

OOC: They should be able to in theory, They have control over shadow don't they? I"m not quite certain if it has to be stringed back to them, so it may give a lead to your location, however if mastered you could stretch the shadow thin enough that it wouldn't be detected, or run its line along the path of another shadow. It's all about location.

Ayame listened inattentively to Kai as he spoke about the days in the academy. And unfortunately, it seems he never really had the best of times. Some of the kids were huge jerks, and thats something even Ayame could agree on.
"Ya..I know that feeling. Some kids were so spoiled and acted tougher then others. But in all fairness, you really cant get too far with an attitude like that. I would be surprised if they got held back another year or so."
Ayame nodded her head, feeling a bit terrible for Kai. It sucks that all the kids who actually try to lean something, always are put down by others. Mostly because the others know they could never be as good. So they try and put others down to make themselves feel better.
Ayame watched as Kai rose his hands, and allowed a whole bunch of insects to fly around his sleeves. She didn't backup or anything, just stood completely still. She knew there were bug users, and just because of that, you shouldn't be afraid of the person for the way he was born into this world. Its just the circle of life. And it cant be helped.
"Well, it's ok. That shouldn't stop anyone from liking you for who you are. You were born like that, and everyone is made different. Your special for being who you are. And no one should ever turn down someone just because of the way they are. Everyone has that special spark in them, in one place or another.."
Ayame smiled, trying her best to let Kai know that she would accept him even if he was a bug user. And bugs were the one thing she was afraid of. It didnt matter to her, because you cant just not accept someone for who they are or wanna be. It wouldn't be right.

Kai was relieved.She hadn't even so much as moved an inch. Once the insects returned and she remained still he awaited her response. What Kaid didn't anticipate were her kind words. Had he finally found someone to accept him? This may be an opportunity for a new friend. Kai raised one arm again and a single beetle flew out. As it's wings emitted no sound it fluttered slowly until it landed directly on Ayame's forehead. It rested for a moment then returned. "I hope we can be good friends. Now that my tracker beetle has your unique scent, if you are ever in need or danger. I will find you."The word danger seemed to remind him of the problems happening withint he city. Kai turned to look out upon the village. A fierce battle was being held, he could smell it in the air. A serious and somber look overtook him. "I just feel so useless in times like this. I mean we are shinobi as well. That's what these headbands represent, yet we are powerless right now against such a threat. I just wish there were something we could do.. Anything.."

Ayame watched as Kai's beetle floated toward her head, daring herself as much to just stand there and not even move one single inch. If she wanted to make friends, she had to overcome her fears. It was the only way and it was defiantly possible. She just had to get over it, and let it happen. After a few seconds has passed, the beetle suddenly had flown off of her and back to Kai, making her feel a bit more comfortable. Ayame smiled weakly at Kai's touching words. She never thought from becoming a ninja, would lead her to meet someone so nice, that she felt really comfortable just being around him. And even though her fear for bugs were so intense, being around Kai made all the worries and fear go away. She felt like she could handle all the bugs in the world at this moment. And it would never ever scare her again.
"I hope so too.."
Ayame had her arms behind her back, and as she spoke, she couldn't stop smiling at how sweet Kai had been. No one has ever done such a sweet thing for her, or said such nice things to her. And for that, she had a deep respect for Kai that would last forever.
"Aw, thanks. Thats really sweet of you. And if anything ever happens to you, I will find you too. My heart tells me if anything happens."
Ayame's smile faded once she noticed Kai had seemed to be sad about something he may have been thinking about. She didn't have to wonder for long as, she listened to him speak about the war and how being genin, they weren't able to do anything.
"I know how you feel. The village being destroyed, countless ninjas probably not making it out alive. And the fact we, genin, have to sit here and watch. Just because were not the best fighter, doesnt mean a thing. Why must we sit here and watch everything we've ever hoped for be destroyed? It's worth a try atleast to help. Just one chance..I think we could all do it if were put our minds to it. Theres nothing you can't do. You know, we should try to help out, on our own. But, I don't know what is there we can do right now. Theres gotta be something.."
Ayame pondered the very thought for a moment. But, she just couldn't come up with anything at all. It didn't seem like there was anything they could do. But the feeling of being useless, was a lot worst.

Kai's attention was again drawn to the village after Ayame's words of helping. He himself couldn't think of anything useful that they could do. Closing his eyes for a moment he searched the inner most workings of his mind for a solution. If we weren't so powerless we could fend off the oncoming attack. The only other option we have is to assist those who needed help escaping. We could find those in need of rescue them to safety. Kai again raised his arms to let the swarm insects out. The beetles flew out over the village surveying the landscape for anyone that may need help. Three women with small children were in a building not far off. The problem was that there were also four shinobi on route to that building. They were far enough away that Ayame and Kai should be able to make it in time to save them. The insects returned and gave Kai their findings. "Ayame, if you really want to help then follow me. There are three women with small children in need of an escape."Kai lept over the cliff and began running to the village. [Exits to The Streets and Alleyways of Kanoha]

Ayame watched as the bugs had set out, figuring he must have been using them to search the area. For what, she wasn't really sure. But she knew he must of have some sort of plan. She nodded at Kai, hearing what news he brang as his insects had returned. So, she figured his plan was to help those in need. Which was really a great idea. It was something they could help with. And they wouldn't be in the way.
"I do want to help. We've got to do whatever we can to help that family!"
Ayame followed right behind Kai, hoping to make it to the family before anything really serious would happen. There wasn't a moment to lose.
