"We...woke up. We suddenly felt drawn to each other and discovered these things." She looked at him with curious eyes. "I'm Clarissa. Who are you?"

He looked at them. "I see. Then...this is not what we predicted."
He stopped, thinking. "But no one will know that, will they? I can just take you out now."
And he began to advance again. His arm shivered and morphed into a gigantic monstrous version of itself.

"On a scale of one to not good, I rate this not good," Elizabeth declared, raising the shield and stepping between Clarissa and the Agent. "We should run," she added helpfully. "Like, now."

Clarissa did not run though her legs were shaking. "Please just tell us a bit about ourselves!" She wasn't going to leave or run away until she knew something. Anything at all! She stepped to the side of Elizabeth. "If you take me out, fine. But please tell me about about this," she raised her hands. "Consider it a death wish."
The only way she was leaving was if someone dragged her away. She was that adamant (and possibly stupid) about getting answers.

"He's not going to tell us, he's just going to kill us, his arm isn't like that because it's good for storytelling," Elizabeth rambled, backing up and pushing Clarissa back with her.

Elizabeth was right, and the Hosts began to move. Host-Agent R let them run, following at a walk. It was apparent that he was enjoying the hunt.
The Hosts ran back towards the warehouse. It would be easier to escape in the confusion than trying to lose him in the open. They made it inside quickly, to find that the fighting had moved out of the first room. The noises of fighting were coming from the nearby hallway.

Helena would have dragged Clarissa away, but her arms were still... "active." So she did her best to make sure the way was clear for the Hosts as they moved back into the facility. Once inside, however, she wasn't sure where to go, so Grissom followed her first impulse which was toward the sounds down the hallway. She moved quickly and beckoned the others to follow.

Elizabeth continued to push Clarissa back until one of the others - one with actual hands available, probably Saive - grabbed the stubborn girl and dragged her. She then followed them, guarding the rear with her ridiculously overgrown arm.

Helena had the right idea, but the soldiers saw them coming and hit a wall panel. Twenty feet in front of Helena, a steel door slid into place. They could not break through it if they wanted to escape Host-Agent R.
They needed another plan.

Host-Agent R followed slowly, smiling as he enjoyed tracing them.
"You can't run! I can sense you wherever you go. There's no place on Earth that you're safe from me, least of all here. I will tear this place to shreds. I will rip every part of it to pieces to find you. I have the power and authority of the entire US Government at my back."
He stopped in the doorway, surveying the warehouse, then came sauntering into it to find the Hosts.

"You can't possibly mean the Eden pods too, could you?" a man cut in. A figure dropped in from the roof, his cloak flowing behind him and his knife catching the light. "I don't think I'll let you stay in. I think you should take this outside. There is sensitive equipment in here you could damage." The Thief wore a smile, but his eyes spoke a different story - he looked ready to tear the man apart.
The knife in his hand did a little twirl.
"I think I'll end you if you can't resolve this peacefully," The Thief announced with a sudden tooth-bearing grin.
The knife spun again.
"What do you think?"

"I think move, stranger," Host-Agent R said, his eyes locking onto the newcomer and the tip of his gun twitching almost eagerly. "I'd hate for things to get messy."
He had stopped moving forward, though. Seemed he knew how to read an opponent.
Suddenly, his gun whipped up and he sprayed automatic fire at the Thief.

How exactly a man's hand could move fast enough to intercept bullets was unclear.
What became more unclear was how a knife could take the impact from each and every one without so much as bending.
"I think that's the wrong answer," The Thief declared, and suddenly bursts of visible light exploded from behind him as he pitched himself forward at Agent R, his knife cutting a path through the air in front of him.

Dead end! <********> Spinning one-eighty, Helena's stomach lurched as Host-Agent R rounded the corner. It looked like yet another apocalyptic moment, and yet again rescue arrived in the form of a rugged man, a metaphorical Knight in Shining Armor. Albeit, the visual was quite a stretch: armor was exchanged for a cloak and traveler's garb and the lance exchanged for a knife, but he had unnatural talent just like every other soul in this place. It was quickly becoming a mutant-superhuman no-holds-barred, free-for-all brawl. It seemed this mystery Knight was going to be able to buy the Hosts some time, and Helena made sure not to waste a single second: she immediately began hacking at the wall with all her might, hoping her arms could handle it.

"Let me go!" Clarissa was struggling against whoever it was that was dragging her away (she didn't care to find out). However, she wasn't able to free herself. "Please, let me go! He knows why!" Her sanity was quickly fraying away. Whatever mental block she put to hide the guilt and pain of murdering her family was crumbling away at the sight of Host-Agent R, and it was crumbling fast. He can tell me why my family had to die! I need to know!
When they hit a roadblock, Clarissa was waiting for the chance to run. But then a new person came into the picture and seemed to be helping them. Finally she stopped struggling - she was in awe of the fight that was going on before her. So long as their one source of information didn't die, she had no problem with this man fighting their opponent.
