Right now my current obsession is World War II books. Specifically told in the point of view of the axis powers, but I can't find any. My friend found one, the book Flames of the Tiger by John Wilson, and I loved that book. Best book I ever read, actually. xd I barely ever read though, it's so hard to keep me interested because if I like one subject, I can't go out of that subject, not even a tiny bit, for some reason. The only books I've read all the way through were The Black Stallion and Flames of the Tiger, I think there are a few more that I can't remember for the life of me right now. But I did read about half of Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul, even though it has religion mentioned throughout it, I love the stories.

Why didn't I see this before?
I'm actually knocking through this massive stack of Star Wars novels that I got from Barnes and Noble when I used to work there.

Right now, I'm in my NCLEX books pretty heavily. Not much change from my last post. But I have gotten my grubby paws on a complete collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, and I'm happily giggling my way through it - Sherlock reminds me a lot of my husband, provided you remove his drug habits.

pantherdor I'm currently tackling Heinline books again along with the new Kim Harrison book. Good reads. Stranger in a Strange Land? I ought to read Kim Harrison, but so many of the paranormal authors now-a-days have turned me off, I think Patricia Briggs is the only one that's kept my attention. Anyways I've read a ton of books lately that were failed experiments. I'm thinking of going safely back to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance as a sort of refresher, to give me confidence once again in the writing community.

I love reading, its all I do when I'm not on the computer. I read a lot of things, just about anything that sounds interesting, and is well written, I will read. Lately I've been reading the Inheritance Cycle again, and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, which is based off real characters, other than the main characters of course. Then there are all the cosmology and physics books that I read. I also love to read autobiographies, there are so many interesting ones out there if you look for them. Though one of the newer series that I've started reading is the series my dad's been working on, the first book of the series is called Vintage Soul. I loved it, first book of his that I reread. Though now I'm resisting the urge to ask to read it before he sends it to the publisher.

Don't worry, Watson takes care of that. And was I the only one who's was ecstatic that the new movie actually got Watson mostly right? No fat, bumbling, doofus sidekick, yay! Anyway, currently working my way through a stack of old Andre Norton (mostly Witchworld), Captain Blood, and a collection of Icelandic Sagas. I tend to try and keep something scholarly and Norse in the mix, both because I enjoy it and because it's helpful for my path. As to the idea of listing all my books. That would take way to long. I'm actually running out of room on my shelves for them. I need more shelves but I don't have anywhere to put them either. I need a new place with a room just for all my books.

Right now I'm reading I'm reading Ghost Girl by Torey Hayden. She works with special needs kids, so it's really interesting. My last book was If God Disappears...., and before that it was Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. All very good books, but I really need a fantasy. I read the Pit Dragon trilogy by Jane Yolen and the Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan before those last three, but still...

I love to read but I haven't read fiction in years. I mostly read books about history(For instance right now I'm reading "The Red Flag: A History of Communism" which I find horrible by the way, the authors analysis of Marxism and how he carries that analysis on throughout the whole book is horrible) about foreign policy like Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine", or economics like "Capital vol.1"(Which is ******** huge and the greatest book I've ever attempted to read). Some say the books I read are boring but I don't.
