She coughed and hacked, looking like she had just been drowned. The faun had barely made it back up in time. "S-s-sorry" Fi managed to squeak out between her coughs. She was glad he had a surfboard, she needed to rest for a moment after that wipe out. There wasn't a chance she was going to make it back herself right now, good thing she didn't use a board. poor thing would have been lost at sea.

Hula bob did his best to help her onto his board. "Don't worry about it. We all have to wipe out some time." He chuckled. The demon then began to swim towards the shore pushing the surf board as he went. "Anyway, you are the best first time surfer I've had. Gnarly!" He winked at her hoping she was feeling better.

She took a deep breath, hand on her chest. Air was good. Clinging for dear life was better, but he was busy, she couldn't do that and she knew it. Fi groaned some, rolling off the board to help him get them back to shore. Only problem with that was, she didn't roll into the water.
"What happened?" She blinked, voice hoarse from the water that had been shoved down it. The faun was curious as to why she wasn't in the water, but then the fact that she didn't need a board probably explained it.. "T-thanks..." Water decided to force its way out of her stomach this time, and she leaned away from her rescuer to release it.

Since she had spoken to him Bob didn't for a moment thing she needed cpr. So, he was content with just pushing her back to shore. When he heard her he looked back. "Fell off again? Well, dudette you just can't stay on a board. Just not for ya." He shook his wet hair from his face as he too saw she hadn't fallen in.

Fi rubbed her head, looking at Hula Bob. She couldn't help but feel some sort of affection as he had attempted to save her. "I don't think they like me much right now..." Fi blushed, starting to paddle towards shore. She wasn't too happy with the water right now, but for now she'd put up with it so she could get back to shore.

Hula Bob got back on his board as he found it easier to paddle while on it. "The water is a fickle mistress. One must give her much respect just like any beautiful lady." He winked at Fi as he headed in. "I can get you something hot to drink from my bar once on shore if you like."

Fi nodded, following Hula Bob back closely. If she fell off again she didn't want to be caught that far under again. It was scary!
Once on shore she clung tightly to the male's arm, forgetting that he still had a board he needed to carry. But then, she was just distracted with the fact that she had nearly drowned out there.

Once on the shore Hula Bob put his board down and went over to where he kept the towels. He pulled one around himself and the girl that was holding onto him. "Better?" He asked hoping that she did feel better. "Want something to eat or drink?"

She nodded some, still clinging to Hula Bob's arm tightly. She was still having a moment after the crash. But then she'd probably forget it in a few hours or days... Whatever worked for her mind. "Um.. S-sure.." Fi probably wouldn't mind a drink. It might actually feel better on her throat than the salty water that had just been forced down it.

Hula Bob walked with Fi still holding on to him until he was in front of the bar. There he let go and placed the towel all the way around her. "Have a seat on the hammok and I'll be back." he gave her a wink before going inside.
Once in there he began to whip up a nice hot chocolate. Sure, his fave drink was the Coconut Freezer, but after what happened he thought a nice hot drink would be better for the teen.
After the drink was the made the demon came back out holding onto the drink and one for him as well. "Here you are."

She sat in the hammock, rocking lightly. Fi snugged into the towel, drying off a little. The faun was feeling a lot better, but that didn't mean she wasn't cold!
Phiona looked up, taking the drink from him. "Thanks~" She giggled, sipping at the cocoa. It certainly tasted better than that salt water!

Hula Bob smiled and nodded. He then looked back to the ocean. "That was a great first day, dudette. Everyone has to fall once in a while and you did that awesomely." Sure he was worried about her when she had fallen, but he thought it would be better to give her encouragement. With a power like her's she could rival even him at surfing.
That thought brought up something he had long since forgotten. The demon shook it from his mind. He was now a teacher and anyone he gets better then him was still taught by him. It was okay.
