Todd and Maggie Summers both turned to look unexpectedly at their only son, though both had differing reactions. Maggie's face lit up at the sight of her boy all dressed up and looking handsome while Todd's expression changed to a sort of scowl and he folded his arms, first eying his son and then the girl hanging off his arm. "Boy," he grumbled, which was probably the best greeting Keegan would ever get from him. Other than the fact that he was dressed in a tux and not his normal, every day work clothes, Todd looked pretty much the same as he always did, stone-like expression while sporting the same bright and somewhat unruly red hair that his son had inherited. He could learn to smile once in a while though, Keegan thought, forcing on a smile for his mother's sake.
"Oh honey, you look so grown up," Maggie gushed, quickly moving in to give Keegan a hug. Having fully expected this Keegan didn't protest, and hugged her back. For once Maggie Summers wasn't dressed like a regular housewife. She had her long, strawberry blonde hair down instead of up in its usual untidy bun, and she was wearing a fairly simple yet elegant pale blue dress that made her look uncharacteristically professional. "Who's your little friend?" she asked, now directing her attention to Riza. "And what are you doing here? I thought you hated these parties."
"They're not so bad," Keegan shrugged, looking to the raven-haired girl next to him. "This is Riza," he said, nodding. "Riza, my parents. Mr and Mrs Summers. As you already know, they run a breeding facility in Lavaridge Town." He turned back towards his parents, not sure where to go with the conversation next. "We're actually looking into having Pokemon Eggs commissioned," he said finally, figuring he'd best be blunt and get right to the point. His mother could be downright nosy and he really didn't need her prying into his personal life right now.
His mother nodded along amiably with the introductions, her emerald eyes shining with happiness. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Riza," she said, reaching out to shake the girl's hand, though Keegan saw the odd look she gave him out of the corner of his eye. Undoubtedly she was wondering what had become of Kasiya. "Well, you've come to the right place! Maybe some of our carefully-bred Pokemon will interest you," she went, looking towards her stoic husband, who only shrugged in reply, obviously decidedly uninterested in the conversation.

Dante listened to the man ramble on about bug pokemon for a little while longer before he excused himself and Hera. As interesting as it was Dante didn't want to spend the whole night in a discussion about bug pokemon and their shells. Deciding that maybe he should get Hera and himself a drink before they headed off to the bar in hopes of getting a drink for them. However as he made his way to the bar his typical lack of luck seemed to come back to him as he tripped, probably over nothing, and ended up hitting a purple haired kids chair pretty hard.
Wincing slightly Dante picked himself up off of the floor careful not to rip the no doubt expensive dress he had been forced into. At his side Hera helped him up with her strong body easily helping pull him up. "Ouch, thanks Hera." Was all he mumbled before looking over ready to apologize to the person he had just hit. It appeared that he had also had the misfortune of making this unknown person spill all over there tuxedo. "Ah, my apologies about hitting you." Dante hoped the fact that he looked like a girl would help get him out of trouble. Knowing his luck though that would never happen.

As Robin and Luffy walked out of the gym they heard a loud laughter coming from above them. Blinking a few times in confusion the two of them looked around until they finally spotted a tiny Totodile on the roof of the gym. "A Totodile? On the roof?" Was all Robin had a chance to say before the Totodile took a dive from the roof and seemed to be jumping at them. Not wanting to get hit by the creature Robin and Luffy simply stepped to the side and watched as the pretty rare water pokemon landed on the ground with a solid 'thud'.
Robin and Luffy just stared down at the pokemon that had been knocked unconscious from his fall. Luffy just looked at the Totodile with wide eyes for a second before he turned around started to make his way back to the pokemon center. There sure were a lot of strange things in this town.
Robin on the other hand felt a bit bad for the probably pretty stupid Totodile. Even she and Luffy, to some extent, knew that jumping off of roofs wasn't such a good idea. So deciding to do the good thing she picked the pokemon up and they headed off to the pokemon center again to get not only her own pokemon healed back up but also this new one.

Riza couldn't help but smile inwardly at how different Keegan's parents were, though she was a little jealous to see that they were still together. 'Maybe it's because they're so different,' she thought, thinking of her own parents back in Blackthorne City. 'Mine are so alike it's surprising that they even managed to have me and Jaden with all their fighting.' She sighed and shook Mrs. Summers's hand, returning the woman's kind smile and handshake. "Likewise," she said, nodding, also realizing now that she'd gotten the town's name wrong. It was 'Lavaridge' not 'Lavarock', but Riza didn't think it mattered in the long run. "Keegan's told me a lot about you. It must be a lot of work, running a breeding center," she added, picking up one of the brochures from the table and looking through it. There were dozens of pictures of happy, healthy looking baby Pokemon and Riza couldn't help but smile at them.
"Actually, I'm interested in raising a Cyndaquil," she said, putting the paper down and looking back towards Mrs. Summers. "I've seen a full-grown Typhlosion in battle and I think it's speed and agility would make it perfect for contests." She could see it in her mind, the powerful flames dazzling the audience during the appeals round, and the Pokemon's superior speed leading them to victory in the appeal battles. Riza smiled and nodded, mostly to herself. "Yeah, perfect!"

Kilik took one of his gloves off and cradled the Egg in his lap, petting the top of it. It felt very smooth, but also wet, like morning dew on freshly cut grass. There was no actual liquid on the egg, but he couldn't help but worry that his clothes were getting wet as well. The boy looked at Mitsu as she sipped her cider. He just took another cup of tea and sipped out of it rather loudly. A few people glared at him and he immediately set the cup down. "I..." he scratched the back of his head, "I'm not sure. I'm just going to get all the badges. I've got a few now, but if I'm going to be spending all my time in Sinnoh, I should go for the League there."
He adjusted his monocle and yawned a bit. "What about you? Got anything major planned?" Kilik popped his knuckles and continued to stroke the top of the Egg with his ungloved hand. To be honest, he had no idea what was in Sinnoh - he felt his answer was very generic.

"Yes, it is a lot of work," Maggie agreed. "But at the same time it's terribly rewarding. Working with such darling Pokemon makes me feel quite lucky, wouldn't you say so, Todd?" Keegan's father grunted in reply, nodding slightly. Again, the best response it seemed the man was capable of giving.
At the mention of a Cyndaquil Keegan turned to look at Riza, slightly stunned. He never would have expected her to have interest in a Pokemon like that. "A Cyndaquil? Really?" he asked, though he really couldn't blame her. The battle Helios had waged against Mike's Typhlosion, Felsic, only a few days beforehand was still quite fresh in his mind, and he smiled towards the girl. "Great choice," he said, nodding, already knowing what his mother would say.
"Ooh, Cyndaquil! They are awfully adorable, aren't they?" Maggie beamed, nodding excitedly. "You're in luck, too, Dearie, because Cyndaquil just happen to be one of the Pokemon species our facility specializes in!" She beckoned for Keegan and Riza to follow her, and she lead them back behind their table where she'd set up a laptop. "We have a live camera feed coming right from the facility," she explained, quickly bringing up the video. Within moments the screen showed about a half-dozen young Cyndaquil in a holding pen of sorts. Most of them were sleeping, a few were playing together and one just seemed to be staring off into space. "Well, there are the little darlings, just waiting for a good trainer to give them a home. Have a good look, let us know which one you like best."
Keegan, meanwhile, was just staring at all the equipment in awe. When did his parents decide to go all high-tech? Perhaps he'd misjudged the amount of money Sheridan had given them. He tapped his finger lightly against his chin. And wouldn't they still have to go back to Lavaridge to pick up Riza's new Cyndaquil? That question would soon be answered as his father began to set up what appeared to be a portable Pokeball-transfer machine. "Amazing..." the redhead mumbled. Where were all these fancy gizmos when I was younger and had to go trekking all over Hoenn on egg deliveries? he thought, slightly irked. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a couple of men enter the room and approach his parents' table, stopping only to speak with Mr Summers. They look like hired goons, Keegan thought. I wonder what they want.

Riza's jaw nearly dropped open as she listened to Mrs. Summers speak. She couldn't believe the words coming from the woman's mouth and she looked over at Keegan, waiting for him to tell her it was just some cruel joke. When all he did was smile at her she blinked a few times, letting it sink in. 'It can't be that easy,' she thought, following along behind Keegan and his mom as they approached another table. She was quite surprised to see a laptop set up as well as some strange machines that Mr. Summers was busy setting up. "I can just pick one? It's really that easy?" she nearly squeaked with happiness. Upon seeing the adorable little fire mouse Pokemon onscreen she seemed to lose all traces of her cold self, and for a moment she just watched the Cyndaquil, completely lost in their cuteness, though she eventually snapped out of her daze and carefully studied each one of them.
'It's so hard to choose, they're all so cute,' she thought, giggling as two of them seemed to have started a small game of tag. One did catch her eye though, as this particular Cyndaquil was just sitting by itself, gazing off into the distance. 'It looks so deep in thought,' she mused, continuing to watch it. 'Maybe that one....?' Very suddenly the Cyndaquil looked directly at the camera and began to hop up and down, waving its tiny arms as though saying hello to whomever might be watching, who in this case just happened to be Riza. "That one," she said finally, pointing at the happy Cyndaquil. "I've got a good feeling about it!" In her excitement over picking out her Cyndaquil Riza didn't notice the men approach Mr. Summers. She was too busy wondering how the Summers' would get her new Pokemon to her.

Leon was totally spaced out, bored out of his freaking mind and taking a sip of his Coke every once in a while. Muuma had taked to floating a few feet away, observing the people nearest her, getting bored with them, and floating back to the table. Leon was taking another sip of his drink when suddenly he was knocked forward a bit, and the glass hit him in the face, sending Coke all over his face and his tux. He set the glass down and scooted his chair back, standing up and looking down at his tux angrily. Usually he might not have cared as much, but having been interrupted amidst traveling and dragged to this lame thing only to be sitting at a table with aboslutely nothing to do, all he needed was something else to set him off a bit.
"What the hell?" He demanded, turning around and raising his right arm to wipe some of the soda off of his face with his sleeve, and glared directly at the girl who'd bumped into him. Just because she was a woman didn't mean he'd be any less mad at her for making him dump his drink all over himself. In the midst of all this, it seemed Muuma had disappeared as well.

Mitsu took another sip of her cider, she enjoyed the bubbly feeling that filled her mouth when she drank it. Mmm, she mentally though, it's really good and I didn't even realize how thirsty I was. She listened to Kilik speak slightly wondering why he didn't try to get all the badges for his home region, Hoenn. Maybe home wasn't something he was interested in.
Mitsu thought for a moment not really quite sure why she was going to Sinnoh. "Well for the adventure and for a new place to train. We need to get stronger if we want to beat Tate and Liza and Wallace too," she replied. She left out the part about how she needed to train to be on the same level as her friends, most of whom were already far stronger than her or catching up rather fast. "That and Tate and Liza want me to meet some breeder there, though I don't know who they are or where they are at," she added with a sheepish laugh. It'd been the same breeder that had bred the Lucario that was now hers. She definitely have to thank who ever it was when she got there.
Karri had decided that she'd had enough of sitting in her Pokeball when she could be the most gorgeous person, or in her case Pokemon, at the gala and released herself from the spherical confinement. She appeared in a brilliant display of red light, her ball room gown-like body flowing easily. She look refined and wealthy as if she belonged at a venue like the Breeder's Gala. She used her telekinesis to bring over a flute of bubbly golden liquid. She didn't know what exactly it was but down it rather quickly.
Something told Mitsu it wasn't quite the cider she was drinking and from the smell of the glass, which was now flung unceremoniously onto the table, it was champagne. Karri looked around, her eyes already slightly glazed over as she down two more before Mitsu could protest. You're drunk aren't you Karri? "Oh Mitsu," she began, "You should have some too!" She swayed from side to side, making it look as natural and graceful as can be, one could hardly tell she'd had soemthing to drink. You'd think that she wouldn't be the one who got drunk easily Mitsu thought inwardly groaning. She wanted to recall the Pokemon but she knew it was useless. Karri giggled upon seeing Kilik sitting next to Mitsu. "Have fun you two love birds," she laughed pushing not only their chairs closer by their heads as well with her Psychic powers. Laughing some more she disappeared into the crowd, mingling with the other guests.

Kilik took more sips of his tea, nodding as Mitsu spoke. "I take it you're coming back home to get the Hoenn badges, then?" he said with a raised eyebrow. Stupid question, he thought, Why else would she need to fight Tate and Liza then Wallace? He was sort of jealous that she had the heart to get through the entire Hoenn League, and collect the badges here. He thought of his own Trainer Card. I may have seven badges, he thought, but they were all early Gyms. Except maybe Koga, but he gave me it. The boy shrugged, and looked up when he heard Karri come out of her Pokeball.
He laughed slightly as she pandered around, drunk, but then nearly spilled his drink when she swung his chair beside Mitsu. He fell to the side, causing his head to rest on the girl's shoulder. Kilik quickly sat up and put his tea on the table. "L-love birds?" the boy stammered as she walked away. Gardevoir are in tune with emotions, he thought, looking over at Mitsu to see her reaction, And Karri would know Mitsu's emotions better than anyone. Does she...? Kilik shook the thought from his mind and pulled his glove back on.
"I should...probably deposit my Pokemon. Just so I don't forget in the morning or anything," he stood up, holding the egg by his chest. I mean, if she does, that's great, cause I... Again, he shook his head. "I'll be back in a bit." He hesitated and nearly went to kiss the top of her head, but instead, he patted her shoulder. I should've but...what if Karri's just being weird? What if Mitsu...Well, that'd make me one sad...Forget it. If Mitsu wants to tell me, she can herself. No need to make assumptions from a drunk Karri. He smiled at the girl then left the building.
But what if...No, no... As he walked, he saw two kids on the side of the building, the girl was giggling and the boy was whispering something in her ear. He quickly turned away and kept his eyes on the Pokemon Center. After a five minute stroll, he entered, approaching the PC. He typed in his information: "K.J.Ranmo 18739, Hoenn." His box opened on the screen. He saw Ludicolo dancing about as well as Sudowoodo looking like she was begging to get out. Poppite was not in the box, as he was doing chores at home, like always. With a heavy heart, Kilik pulled his Pokeballs from his belt.
"You guys will see Sinnoh. I promise," he said, holding the small Pokeballs in his palm and the egg in his other hand. "Flareon, I don't know how I could have survived without ya," he placed the ball on the machine and it disappeared, a Flareon icon appearing on the screen. "Weezing," and with each name, he placed the ball into the machine, "It's been a ton of laughs. Aggron, you've become so powerful. I couldn't be more proud of you. Scizor...You're one of my strongest. You may not have liked me at first, but now you'd do anything to protect me and I would do the same for you." Weezing, Scizor and Aggron's icons all appeared on the screen. Finally, "Flygon, you may not be mine, but Dante trusted me with you. You've grown so much since I first received you. See you soon." He placed the final ball on the machine and it disappeared. Then he went to the phone, still logged in.
"Mom?" he asked. She smiled at him on the screen, "Take all my Pokemon out. I want them to be cozy at home. Then again...I suppose Aggron would destroy it. You can keep him in the box." She nodded then hung up. Kilik watched as Flareon, Scizor, Weezing, and Flygon disappeared from the computer. That was that. All he had now was Cable and his Treeko egg.
The whole ordeal took him about half an hour, and he returned to the Gala afterward, flashing the guard his ticket. He walked around alone for a while, thoughts still running through his head, but he sat down beside Mitsu again. A smile appeared on his face when he looked at her.

"That's the plan," Mitsu laughed deciding it would be best to just answer his question sans any kind of comment about how battling Tate and Liza meant that she was coming back. Her face immediately turned a quick shade of crimson as she felt his head swing onto her shoulder. How was it even possible? He was a good foot taller than she was! I'll get you for that Karri! You and your comments!
Pffffft. You know it's true Mitsu. . .Or do you? Karri replied laughing her musical laughter. Mitsu could feel her presence disappear as she moved on into the crowd, probably tormenting some other poor guest with her mind tricks. That or she was flirting Mitsu reasoned with a slight roll of her eyes. And just to prove her wrong Karri spoke in her mind once more, or rather she was making kiss-y noises to torment the poor purple headed girl making her crimson blush turn even a deeper red.
Mitsu chose to ignore Kilik's reiteration of the word, or in this case two words. She didn't want any awkwardness between them, but then again that kiss earlier in the day should have already made everything awkward. She shook her head slightly before nodding to Kilik, unable to really say anything as he left. She tried to keep her face low, hidden slightly by her curls that were coming rather loose at this point, to hide her increasing blush. Note to self, never let a Gardevoir, at at least Karri, have alcohol.
Love birds? It's not true, I mean we get along and we seem to be oddly close, but I don't think so. At least, not yet? Mitsu sighed. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm attracted to him . . . right? She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. By the time he was gone her face returned to it's normal color. She took a few deep breaths before getting up from the table. She wandered around a few rooms idly. She knew she spotted Keegan this time and a raven haired girl in a stunning dress. They seemed to be getting an egg of some sort. She swore she saw Kasiya through the crowd once as well as Dante, though he was rather far off and she couldn't tell if it was really Dante or just another girl at the gala.
It had been a good twenty or so minutes before she returned to the table, surprised to see it still empty. She pushed Kilik's chair back to where it originally was before taking a seat. She flagged down another waiter and this time took a glass of orange soda. It tasted funny and she really hoped it wasn't spiked, especially with that odd look the younger waiter had given her. She pushed away the glass just to be safe.
Mitsu smiled brightly when Kilik returned glad to have some company again, especially his. "Everything all set for Sinnoh?" she asked.

Brynn wandered through the thick grass looking for some pokemon to battle. She wanted her Munchlax to be level fifteen A.S.A.P. but she knew that was not going to happen. so for now she had to deal with training, very slow and very hard. Brynn was being very lazy in the summer heat. "Ok, Homeskillet go find a pokemon," she said very lazily.
"Lax?" the hungry Munchlax questioned her technique when he came back empty-handed.
"Uhhhhhhhhh, fine I'll come." Homeskillet was sad that her normal bubbly friend was so tired, it was like she had eaten a basketful of candy, then another basket, then another basket, then another, then ano... never mind. The point is she seemed to be suffering from a major sugar rush. They kept on dragging their feet in the grass. At some point, in the midst of the trudging, they ran into a wild zigzagoon. "Aww, it so cute!" Brynn exclaimed and came out of her tired state. "Go Homeskillet!" yelled Brynn and Homeskillet hopped up finally being able to do something.
The wild zigzagoon used tackle, and he charged toward Homeskllet tackling her to the ground. " It's okay Homeskillet fight back, use metronome." and she did. She did the same as the zigzagoon and tackled it. It fell onto the thick grass. It slowly stood up and regained its balance.
It growled ferociously, and Homeskillet felt immediately intimidated. "Don't be afraid Homeskillet, use metronome again." encouraged Brynn. Homeskillet did and thunder clouds rolled in, a flash, then thunder. The zigzagoon had been shocked and was now paralyzed.
"Know finish him off Homeskillet, use tackle." She charged at the zigzagoon and it couldn't jump out of the way. Homeskillet almost felt guilty charging at a paralyzed pokemon, it seemed defenseless, but he remembered how it attacked him and felt less guilt and went up to a sprint (which was like a walking nine tails) and tackled him. The zigzagoon fainted.

"Luxio, careful!" Lilah cried, watching the rain of embers cascade down onto her Pokemon. Luxio cried out again, looking weaker and weaker by the second. Okay one more of those and our goose is cooked, Lilah thought, eying the Monferno carefully. But something tells me that if we can land that charged-up Spark, that monkey will fall.
"You know what to do, Luxio!" Lilah called. Losing the match wouldn't bother her though she wanted to win as much as the next trainer. Luxio pawed the ground anxiously before he dashed forward, aiming carefully for the Monferno as he picked up speed. He wanted nothing more than to dish out some hurt to Genki, still quite angry that he'd been laughed at, and he let out a roar, eager to strike.
=-=-=-=-= Callum was hardly able to keep up with Train as they made their way to the outskirts of town, as it was easy to see just how excited she was about getting to battle with her new Growlithe. He was also interested to see what his new Rattata was capable of and as they walked along he scanned the Pokeball with his PokeDex, hoping to get a good feel for what the little guy was capable of.
Once they arrived at a nice, vacant area that looked as though it was commonly used for battles, Callum signaled wordlessly for his Growlithe to stay back, which it did, obeying without question. The orange and black canine sat back on his haunches, eager to see the battle unfold. Callum tossed out the Rattata's Pokeball with a fluid arm motion, revealing the purple mouse Pokemon in a flash of light. It's ears and nose twitched as it took in the sights, looking back at the young man that was now his trainer. "Let's see what you can do, little friend," Callum said, waiting for Train to make her move.

Train grinned as they finally stopped walking and took up places on opposite ends of what would be their battlefield. She tossed Growlithe's PokèBall, letting it roll off of her fingers as it went up in the air. She brought her hand back slightly but waited for the ball to come back down so she could catch it, and she made it smaller and shoved it into her pocket rather than clipping it onto her belt for now. It seemed like Callum was going to let her go first, but she had no idea what level her new Pokèmon was, and quickly pulled out her PokèDex to scan it. She scanned his current move set and snapped it shut, slipping it back into her back pocket before finally commanding it to make a move. "Growlithe, Ember!" She just couldn't resist. The first thing she'd thought of was getting to see him shoot fire and take down his opponents, so it had to be the first thing she had him do now that he was her's.
Meanwhile, the Growlithe blinked, tilting his head slightly when he saw that Callum was the one who owned his opponent, and glanced back to see who was battling with him this time around. He saw the girl from before and then looked at the Growlithe by Callum's side, apparently putting the pieces together and, as soon as he heard Train's command, opened his mouth and sent a small jet of flame at the Rattata that was his opponent.

The moment Dante saw that the person wasn't going to be so forgiving for him bumping him he sighed inwardly. 'Urg this is just my luck.' Dante thought in irritation. Turning to the person he ducked his head in a sorry matter and hoped he looked apologetic, then again knowing his luck it probably didn't. "Ah, I am really sorry I bumped into you. Sorry about your suit to." He muttered hoping once again to get out of any trouble.
Behind him Hera watched with a somewhat irritated look on her face. How dare this person talk to her trainer like this? He was apologizing for something he didn't even mean to do. Glaring at the other person Hera stepped in front of her trainer ready to protect him if he needed it.
~~~~~
Walking into the pokemon center Robin walked up to the counter and gave Nurse Joy a sheepish smile. "Sorry I know I said that you wouldn't see me again. Though this time its from the gym leader Misty! Oh yeah and this Totodile jumped off of the roof." Robin did her best to look innocent as she placed her pokeballs and the strange Totodile on the counter.
Nurse Joy just gave Robin a look that said she wasn't exactly pleased but she took the pokeballs and Luffy into the back. It didn't take her to long to come back with her healed up pokemon on the tray as well was an energetic looking Totodile. "Well I hope that I don't see you two again for a long while." Was all the nurse said before she stepped back.
"Luffy!" Robin cried as she gave him a hug. The two grinned for a second before Robin placed her pokeballs back into the bag. "All right Luffy are you ready to head back to Hoenn? How about a boat ride back this time?" Robin said with grin to Luffy who just looked back at her excitedly. As the two started to leave they were stopped by the Totodile that jumped in front of them. "Eh? Oh hello little Totodile. Don't go jumping off of roofs now." She said as she tried to step around the Totodile.
That however didn't seem to want to let her get past him. The Totodile took a fighting stance in front of her. How dare she try to step around him instead of acknowledge his greatness?! He was the best pokemon ever and there was no way that this girl and her monkey could just step past him!
Of course that is just what Robin and Luffy did stepping around the Totodile and out the door.
He nodded. "Yep, I'm all set for tomorrow. Come to think of it," he stretched a bit and yawned loudly. "I'm pretty tired. It's been a long day..." The boy stood up again, taking Mitsu's hand. "I had an amazing time here and I can't think of anyone else I would've rather spent it with. I'll see you in the morning, okay?" With that, Kilik lifted it up and kissed her knuckles. Leaving the table with a wave, he walked towards the back of the building where he first changed clothes, asking one of the guards for his belongings. After a few minutes, the man returned with Kilik's bag. "Thanks," he said. Kilik swung the bag over his shoulder and carried the egg in his arms. For a new Egg, it sure was wiggling around a lot.
He weaved in and out of the crowds, yawning a little more, before making it outside. He removed his gloves and stuffed them into the pocket of his slacks. The egg was now starting to feel prickly and sticky, but again, nothing was getting on his clothes. Pokemon eggs were a fascinating thing. Kilik moved on to the Pokemon Center and went into the bathroom. Quickly, he took off all of his dress clothes and pulled his day clothes out of his bag. They were a lot more comfortable than that tuxedo, that was for sure. Folding up his clothes, he put them back into the white package and stuffed them into his backpack again. "No telling when I might need 'em again, so I'll keep them for awhile." Picking up his things, along with the Egg, Kilik went back into the lobby of the Center. It was dead quiet, since all of Lilycove seemed to be at the Gala besides him.
He pulled a blanket from one of the closets and went to a couch, laying down and getting comfortable. What Karri had said earlier was really ticking in his mind. "I shouldn't really think about it that much," he said quietly, even though nobody would hear him regardless, "Besides, we're...friends. Yeah." He held the Egg close to his chest before he started to fall asleep. "Friends..." and with that, his eyes slammed shut and he was out like a light.
