Murring softly Nac grinned, "If they were around maybe." He stretched and stiffled a soft yawn.
"Maybe one day you can have a tail like mine" He grinned and purred. "It has sorta that vine marking my dad's has. Well without the actual vine and no grapes." He shrugged, "Though normally I'm sleeping in a tree or the hammock I've found recently."
He watched the cub interested in how excited he was over such a simple mane and tail. "Maybe because we are half and half I know Leopards have tails like mine and then I get the mane from the lion...."

He held te tail in his hands and moved it back and forth so that it waves, and his eyes followed it, watching it move back and forth. It seemed the godling had found a favored toy in Nac. Smiling, he tore his eyes away from the tail, but kept moving it in his small paws. “Being half and half gives you all the good parts. Fluffy tails and manes, and you even look more slender than a normal lion. You also have a god in you, which give you powers and pretty markings like Limbuko. It’s sad you don’t have grapes like your father. I wouldn’t like them though. A plant on my tail makes me think that they would be messy. Then again, I’ve never had grapes. They could be really good.” Khuluma never really ate anything. As a god, he didn’t have to. He could eat, but that didn’t mean he had the opportunity to. He never hunted, being small and having no one around to teach him, but he wouldn’t even if he could. He was best friends with the god of Prey and wouldn’t hurt animals to eat.
“It would have been nice if you had feathers like Limbuko. He has such pretty feathers.” He then thought of something and releasing his paws from Nac’s tail, he reached back and pulled some loose feathers from his wings. Taking them, he grinned. “Hold on a moment while I try something.” Putting the feathers in his mouth, he placed his paws up around Nac so that he was hugging them and taking one feather at a time out of his mouth, stuck them into Nac’s mane. Done, Khuluma stepped back and smiled. “Ta-da! Now you look like your daddy. Even better, because my wings are pretty too. ” The little feathers stuck out from Nac’s mane to imitate the peacock tail that Limbuko had on his back. It was his gift to Nac in exchange for his kindness and for giving him a necklace.

"Heh yeah I guess it does." He nodded he wasn't sure if that was luck or something else. He shrugged, "Depends on your taste I guess. As far as grapes go anyways."
Nac grinned and chuckled, "Why thank you Khul." He murred seeming to think.
"Would you like to take a nap with me? There's no tellings when my father's getting back and it's getting a bit late. You might not like traveling the jungle at night." Nac had been keeping an eye on the bits of sky you could see he knew the jungle was no place for a cub alone at night. Even if it was a god cub.
"Or I can help you out if you have somewhere else to be, just so you don't get hurt." He nodded softly tail flickering. Of course with the cub for some reason the time just flew by.

“I don’t know what my tastes are. I have yet to taste much of anything. Maybe when I’m older, I’ll know what tastes I have. Maybe I’ll like grapes. ” He hadn’t really been trying to eat anything. He tried grass once and it was fowl. Now when he saw green things, he decided not to try. He guessed he should at least make the attempt to eat grapes and other things, but something that had been on the ground seemed unappealing to him. Maybe that’s what he’d do while he was traveling as well. Eat! He just hoped it wouldn’t ruin his lovely figure. Did gods get fat?
At the mention to nap, he nodded. It was getting late, but with flying and afternoon naps, Khuluma just went to bed when he was too tired, or it was too dark, the weather was bad, or when he found a safe place to rest. Most of this was true, as it was hot, the jungle was new to him, he had company, and with Nac, it felt safe. He was getting use to sleeping with friendly strangers, gods and non-gods alike. There was something about sleeping with someone that he loved and took great pleasure in.
“I’d love to sleep with you, if you don’t mind. It’s getting dark, and I have no destination aside from just moving. I’m in no rush if I have company. I can’t fly in the jungle anyways. There are too many vines. ” It was like netting for godlings and he didn’t want to get tangled in the vines again. No one would be around to free him if he got caught.

Nac chuckled, "Maybe."
He murred as he walked over to the base of a tree that looked particularly safe and would be dry if the Jungle started raining on them, since it was prone to happen. "Around the river it's not that bad as far as flying goes I'd think. The trees are a bit thinner there."
He nodded softly as he curled up leaving room for the god cub. "I heard something about the pridelands being a good place to go to if you wanted to travel." His tail flickered as he gave another great yawn and muttered sleepily. "Though I'm not quite sure where they are.... a pretty lioness told me about it....."

Following Nac, they went over to a tree and tucking himself in, he settled against the older lion. Khuluma eyes Nac’s mane and tail as he spoke, nodding at the suggestion. “Then I’ll see about traveling near the river. I would hate to march through this forests for days. It’s hard to travel with all the plants that are in the jungle. I get tired too easily. Walking is such a chore when you have to fight through plants to get a few inches. I’ll also go looking for these pride lands. It sounds promising if it was suggested to you.” Khuluma was a traveler after all. Finding a place that catered to passing lions seemed like a great place to find others to talk to from all walks of life.
Smiling, he settled down and stretched before he curled in, tucking his wings in so they didn’t Nac.

Nac purred softly wraping his tail around Khul. "Yeah... I know about how hard it is to move in here. The river, it'll lead you out to the savanna as well."
He gave one final yawn before muttering, "Night Khul."

With a plan on where to head when he woke, Khuluma nodded, slowly closing his eyes before he felt the weight of a tail upon him. The added warm was inviting, even when it was hot out. Deciding to do the same, Khuluma opened one of his small wings and fanned it over Nac, letting it settle over the leopon. If it rained, it would serve as additional coverage.
“Night – brother Nac.” Saying it delighted him, and he grinned as he suppressed a giggle. Brother. It had a nice ring to it.
