Reiniku ran though the winding streets of the market with Hyousetsu perched lightly on one of his tender shoulders, he was to kind to tell Hyousetsu that she was hurting him and instead opted to just deal with the pain as he ran along. The close quarters of the streets became more and more crowded until the point that Reiniku had to jump onto the rooftop of one of the nearby buildings, making his way though the market via rooftop with a clever grin showing.
His forehead was still dotted with beads of sweat but his breathing was returning to normal and his legs that had been trembling and struggling to support the weight of the vest felt slightly more normal once more as he trotted along. Hyousetsu had seemed to daze off as she had remained extremely still and quiet throughout the entire trip though the market and it was bugging Reiniku a bit, but he decided to leave her alone and to focus on his training.
Making good progress though the market place Reiniku couldn't help but to smile as he jumped across another gap in the sea of rooftops. He seemed to be carefree and happy that the training was this easy and his mood reflected that of a child in a candy shop, overjoyed and rather relieved.
His mood continued unimpeded for a good part of a quarter hour until something caught Reiniku's attention that completely boiled the happiness away. A group of kids had surrounded a single child behind a small shop and had been pelting her with rocks for what looked like a long time as a large amount of stones had already surrounded the child, Hyousetsu must have seen the same situation as she tore into the sky in a flurry of feathers, leaving Reiniku alone with his anger. Dropping off of the roof Reiniku made his way across the street until he stood directly next to the child, he looked towards the ground with a outraged flame of anger burned in his eyes that seemed to make him appear dark and evil. "Hey, move out of the way!" One of the kids yelled at Reiniku before he glared at the source of the voice with an expression that could make even grown men stop dead in their tracks. "What...Are you doing?" Reiniku growled, his voice soft yet still carrying a large hint of anger with it. When no answer came Reiniku let out a small growl similar to that of a dog before speaking again, "I asked you a question..."
The kids all seemed to look towards the larger of the group as he held the air of a leader. "She is a thief...We are just taking care of the scum of the village like a true shinobi would." The boy stated with a triumphant grin before he gathered a few rocks in his hands. "So which side are you going to side with? A thief, or a group of shin-" The boy started to say before Reiniku cut him off. "Don't you dare call yourself a shinobi, people like you shouldn't have the right to even dream of being one!" Reiniku's voice had grown in volume and the anger it carried only increased as he glared at the boy, his hands in fists and his eyes smoldering embers of anger.
The boy laughed as he picked out a single stone, smirking at Reiniku before he through the stone at the girl who had started to move back down the street away from the group of boys with stones. Reiniku seemed to move in one fluid blur of motion as he moved in front of the stone, catching it with his right hand in a sweeping arc that the children had a hard time just following with their eyes alone. "A shinobi would never attack a defenseless villager..." Reiniku stated as he dropped the stone, "Leave....before my friend decides to deal with you...." At the last sylible of Reiniku's sentance Hyousetsu dropped down in the street behind the boy's, completely grown to her full size with the same angered expression Reiniku himself had. "And she doesn't play around..." Reiniku stated as he turned around, only to find the girl gone. "Huh....must be shy..." Reiniku muttered as he looked towards Hyousetsu for a moment before nodding, a seemingly invisible conversation had taken place between the two without words. Reiniku sighed as he once more jumped onto the rooftop, Hyousetsu letting out a terrifying cry to scatter the boys before she followed after him. The both of them remaining silent as they made their way though the market gates, it was only when they passed though them that Reiniku sighed. "The future of the village is in the hands of idiots....Sometimes I wonder what will become of the world..."
