User Image Once more cheering and going into her less-than-quality dance moves, Annabel grinned as she looked down the cliff. Man, she could take on Normandy if she kept this up! Turning and hustling off to the Gators once more, she took at least one moment of unease- peering down to the swarming reptiles, Annabel had paused a moment. Well. No sense getting caught here again. Backing up, Annabel took a running start at the rope, leaping as she went in for the swing. Come on, try two, not in the Gator's mouth!

Rosalina went about the same route when she reached the cliff, remembering which rocks were steady, and which rocks she had gripped earlier were rather shaky. She wasn't about to fall, even if it was into those mattresses. It meant having to climb back up over again, and her paws already had a few cuts on it from the sharp rocks that had scraped at her fur. Testing a few other rocks to make sure they were steady, she placed a paw on it and hauled herself up.

User Image Well, s**t, so much for cockiness- scrambling out of the water thanks to an over-enthusiastic swing, Annabel quickly dried herself off, thankful to have avoided any Gators. This time, she took the rope before she went, backing up to start in a run- wouldn't overdo it this time! The twisted material in her hand, the Beaver swung for the opposite side once more. Come on, Tarzan skills, bring her back~!

Grinning slightly at the success of climbing the cliff again, Rosalina faced the gators, her eyes turning cold as she stared at them. She still remembered the last challenge when she had spent some time on one of those mouths, and she wasn't about to let it happen again. Taking a deep breath and grasping the rope tightly, she swung herself across.

Yes! She wasn't dropping straight into their jaws again!

User Image the last thing ozzie wanted to do was a second round of this obstacle course. (well, second to last thing - talking directly to chef or eaing his probably-poisoned cooking would probably be worse.) but he felt disappointed to have racked up some failures, and he really wanted to give his team the best shot possible. so, he buckled down and squirrled his way through the wire crawl again. he was glad he remembered his tricks from the last round as he edged through without so much as a snag.

Success again!

The grin grew wider until she reached the last obstacle, and for a moment, there was murderous glare in her eyes as she watched the seagulls get shot by, whizzing across the log.

And as luck would have it, the log collapsed after a few steps.

...At least she wasn't knocked down by those seagulls this time?

Really.

Rosalina felt like killing whoever was manning that seagull gun, and by killing, she meant, a slow torturous death. She didn't like being smacked into the side by a screeching flapping thing for like...the 5th time now? Those things were annoyingly loud, and she turned up the volume on her phones so that she wouldn't have to hear them the next time.

From the side lines, Chef was roaring... well, 'encouragement' was a nice way to put it.

"AH'VE SEEN INTERNS MOVE FASTER THAN YEW!"

"THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO BE PICKIN' DAISIES BOY, MOVE MOVE MOVE!"

"OI YEW! THERE'S NO TIME FER A BREAK ON THE BATTLEFIELD SOLDIER! NO LAZIN' ABOUT!"

Chef stomped and roared, using his words in an attempt to whip the sleepy campers into moving.

(( OOC: GUYS! Remember, there's a four sentence minimum per post requirement. I'll warn you guys now, but I highly suggest you go back and pad your posts up a bit.

Next time I see posts with less than four sentences, I won't count it and will make offline notes about it, so you won't be able to go back and edit it up later. ))

User Image YES! Successful in her second attempt, Annabel could've kissed the ground- but with another camper hot on her trail, she didn't have time for any victorious celebrations. Only when she ran for the damned Gull Gun crossing did she contemplate her achievements- mentally considering herself a Hercules of the camp. Nemean Lions? HAH! Try taking on the Ball Pit of DOOM, Hercules! And she didn't even have any legendary artifacts to help her in her tasks!

Labor number four at hand, Annabel quickly sprinted for the log, desperate not to take a gull to the face this time.

User Image ozzie cringed as he heard chef's voice booming over the distance. he hurried towards the cliff wall and dug his paws in. the sheer will to get away from the large brown audio propelled him upwards. in less time than it took him the first round, he scaled the cliff wall. he lay panting on the edge for a moment and caught his breath before moving forward to face the gators.

User Image So much for Hercules- more like Jerkules, at this point. Falling to the ballpit in an overdramatic, maybe even slow-motioned look-alike that could've been the result of a Sparta-Kick, Annabel plunked into the happily colored river below. DAMN the Gulls- she was REALLY starting to hate those birds! Clawing out of the nightmarish child's world, Annabel quickly readjusted herself, taking only a moment to breathe. No dilly-dallying. She had a challenge to play for here!

Dashing full speed, Annabel gave the log another run.

User Image No more despair on this camper's plate, Annabel was on a ROLL. Not wanting to question her seemingly good luck, she rounded to the front of the course, passing Hatchet on the way. Flashing him a grin as she went, calling something that might've been THANKSFORSCARINGMESHITLESSIT'SGREATMOTIVATION, the punky girl quickly dove for the wire crawl, gung-ho into her third round's start. Hell, maybe she really would go all five! ...And maybe that'd get Hatchet off her a**!

Yeah. Five rounds of this were starting to sound better and better. Down into the wirecrawl, HOOOOOOOO~!

Not. Again.

She could get past the previous obstacles pretty well, so why couldn't she handle this balancing act? Rosalina had almost wanted to grab the seagull and wring its neck for not having enough sense to use its wings and fly away from here. Were all the birds they were shooting stupid, or did they truly enjoy hitting the campers? Sighing, she went to attempt it.

Again.

Again, again, again.

Seagulls were so annoying! This time, she didn't bother to stay for a while to rest and immediately got up after she had fallen, pushing the hair out of her eyes determinedly. She wasn't about to give up, not to a few stupid birds which liked to bump campers off a wobbly log just for the amusement of the viewers!

That was it.

Rosalina concluded that the seagulls were indeed working with the camp producers to spice things up. Rosalina couldn't imagine who would want to sit at home and watch people crossing a log and laughing at them while a seagull smacked into them...oh wait. Yes. She could.

It was a lot better if you weren't the one experiencing it.
