L0rd Asriel How about "Thou shalt tune to high C every chance you get" (If you get three or more people, it'll create a time and space paradox @.@ My friend and I used to do this all the time when we were just like... waiting. Unfortunately, we were in tune most of the time sad ) lol that's a lot of notes though! even though you tune to the tuning note, most of the other ones will forever be out of tune! lol i HATE high Eb and E though...most annoying notes in the friggin universe! >.<"

Twelve is definitely my favorite. I'm not a flutist, I'm a bass clarinet, and my flute friends LOVE to complain around me about their cases. I once had to carry my case with a green jump cord all the way up to the fourth floor, b/c the clasps broke off, and they go up to me like, "Ugh my case is freakin' killing me!" I'm just like, '"wanna trade?" and when they have to carry mine, they're like, "this is so easy, you drama queen!" and i'm just holding one of their tiny cases and running up the stairs two-by-two going "Great! Enjoy! Meet you at the fourth!" haha

i like them all - but i say to put something in there about the trumpets because at our school, the flutes and trumpets have like this everlasting rivalry. sad fact is . . . i'm the only flute player in our house.
my younger brother, little sister and my dad all play the trumpet. my mom played the marching xylophone.

Lawls. I laughed very hard. And it's true, most times. Except, my BD gets really mad when we eat and then play... -.-; He yelled at our whole class once. T.T My friend and I sit right in front of our BD, but he never catches us when we're writing notes to each other. He even was staring down at our stand, and all we did was put music in front of the notes. xD He never noticed. ;D

i SO need to show this to our flute section, at least kels and keru...
but what if they dont like one of their fellow flutes? a girl in our band that we would be extreamly happy if she was gone is a flute. if our band in general could (without getting kicked out of band for it), we would break every last one of those that we could.

@ imaprettyrainbow: I have it in the mornings, off schedule D: !lol...it's flautist, anyway. but yeah >_> "flutist" is as much a word as "aint". it can only be considered a word because stupid people didn't know any better. seeing as the world is dominated by stupid people, flutist has been made a word...just as "aint" has been made a word.

No, flutist is just a correct as flautist. Dare you disagree with Webster?Anyways, I really don't agree with these. Why the ******** would you TRY to play out of tune and TRY to play badly on the high notes? It's annoying and makes the band sound bad.

It's annoying and makes the band sound bad. i never said "flutist is not a word" i said "flutist is as much a word as 'ain't'" both are words. they both gained "word status" by the sheer number of people who just couldn't stop saying either one. i completely agree, "flutist" is a word. it's a "correct" term for someone who plays a flute. at one point, flautist wasn't a word either, but by the amount of people who considered it a word, it was made a word. that's how words are made.
