Hahah, yanno, I never noticed that until you pointed it out! But you're right - I think people try to emulate the style of the original artist and fail. That's what it looks like to me. But it's kinda odd, if you think about it. What generation was the Super Nintendo generation? Ours. So who played Chrono Trigger and adored it? Uhhh, mostly our age group? So wouldn't we draw Magus as an adult..? Mweh, go figure. My theory is that the artists who draw him tend to be inherent fangirls, and prettify him without even realizing he's supposed to not be their same age group. Besides, ten years too young is STILL almost ten years older than me, in my book...

It's been a long time since I've painted, but last night at the SCA meeting we were learning how to make illuminated scrolls. They're given away as awards. I'm so excited - I get to draw and paint and then give it away. I'm not sure why the last part is so cool in my head, but it is. Anyways. I wish I had I scanner, from my long days with out you guys I drew, and some good stuff that I lie and say my sister did it there so good well one but the other just meh, so yeah. I would take pictures of it but them they look bad, but yeah lets see what happens
