Shiori stared at him and stared laughing. "Gotcha! I wasn't really depressed, good acting skills, eh? You fell for it! I'm sorry, just haven't pulled a prank on someone in what feels like forever!" she grabbed his hand and pushed it away. "No, seriously. Sorry. Couldn't help it, just how I am."

 Selena flew over the forest, her wings casting unnatural shadows on the trees below. She was glad she even had wings, as some Aegyl weren't lucky enough to be born with them. I wonder if any Aegyl are around, she thought casually. Selena tilted her head and listened with her mind, scanning the area for the thoughts of nearby Aegyl. Mind reading was one of her favorite abilities, as it proved useful in many cases like these. However, she was still training to further her mind reading skills, as they were limited. Eventually, Selena picked up two Aegyl engaging in a conversation. Curious, she folded her wings and swooped down, landing soundlessly in a tree near the two Aegyl. Probing into their minds, she picked out all the information she could uncover about them. The male was an outcast named Shadow, while the energetic female was called Shiori. Shadow could control four elements, use telekinesis, and control aura. Shiori could read minds, use telekinesis, as well as hypnosis. They aren't too different from me, Selena thought with a light smile. They appear to be friendly, so I have no reason to hide myself. However, I'd prefer to mess with them a bit before a reveal myself... Selena smirked and summoned a gust of wind to mess up the Aegyls' hair. She meant no harm, of course. It was just in her nature to do whatever she felt like doing on impulse.

((It's okay. I understand.)) Shiori yelled as a blow of wind swooped in, screwing up her hair. "Hey! Who did that?!" she screamed, franticly combing through her hair and trying to get it back to the original, proper style. She tried listening around to see if she could pick up somebody's thoughts. Nothing. Gosh damn it! Why don't it show itself?

After the wind messed up Shadow's hair, he pushed it out of his face."That was not a natural gust of wind."Shadow said as he closed his eyes and focused."Hmm...you can quit hiding."he said.

Shiori spit the last of her hair out of her mouth from the wind. "Ya got that right. Not normal at all. Whoever it is, they got some nerve. Messed up my gosh dang hair, they'll pay." she muttered before choking on a grassball that was blown up with the unnatural wind. "I'm.... not kid-..... -ding..... thi-..... -s time......!!!!" she tried giving herself the Heimlich maneuver. Oh s**t. Oh s**t. least I can still think.... I'm probably gonna die like this.... that's weak.... augh! Nothing's working! Stupid freaking Heimlich, supposed to get it out, guess I'll try punching myself and coughing, might work. she thought as she did just what might work, she punched herself in the gut and coughed her brains out.

"i got it."Shadow said as he used his quickly got behind Shiori and did a Heimlich maneuver on her. after the second try the grassball came out."Are you ok?"he asked.

Shiori nodded and scowled. "Whoever did that, NOT FUNNY! You may not have meant any harm, but yeah.... don't do it again." she turned to Shadow. "Thank you. Probably saved my life. Maybe. I dunno." Shiori smiled and laughed a little. "Heh, never had that happen before though.... One thing, grass does NOT taste good! Blehh...."

Shiori fell to the ground, relieved. "That took twenty years offa my life. I owe ya one Shadow. Anything." she thought about that for a mintue then added, "Well, ALMOST anything...." she then heard the last part of what he said and frowned, "Oh. Well, uh. They're pretty useful, I guess. They act as a weak shield for me, a way to get other places fast, and mostly without getting noticed, uh..... Not really sure what else to say. Other than they blend me in with the others. Sometimes....."

Shiori sighed. "Everyone has their flaws. Believe me." she stared at all the trees, trying to find that person that had caused the wind. It should come out. Show itself. It caused it's torture already, just come out! Gosh damn.... she thought angrily.

Selena giggled quietly as she watched in amusement as Shiori coughed up a grass ball. "It should come out. Show itself. It caused its torture already just come out!" Shiori thought. That's probably a good idea, Selena thought to herself, but I like remaining hidden. It gives me an advantage. She opted to stay in the shadows of the trees, shielded from view. However, she summoned spirit to heal Shiori. I'm giving you your 20 years back, Selena thought to Shiori, knowing that she could hear her thoughts as if she was saying them aloud.

Shiori listened again to see if she could pick up somebody's thoughts. 'I'm giving you your 20 years back.' she stood up and screamed. "It's a mother ******** joke!!!! I didn't actually mean I lost twenty years! Why don't you people get it?" she again screamed and stomped off, throwing her hands in the air as a sign of surrender. "I'm out. Nobody gets me, I'm just gonna have to keep 'em to myself. They don't have any imagination. Stop being so realistic. Take a break. Be funny. I AM! It's those gosh damn people that don't get it."
