Lance decided to walk around the forest. He spent 15 or 20 minutes wandering a bit. Then he saw a really big house through the trees. "When did that get there?" he aksed himself as he walked in the direction of the mansion.

"Oh? More company. Fun, fun." Derek walks to the other room where the entrance is. "Tell me when they get near the door, I want to scare them." He didn't know if it was a human or not, but opening the door and hiding off to the side somewhere usually freaks people out. Not much, usually, but enough to get a good laugh.

Laughing cruelly she watched as Derek went to go hide. "It might be some time." she said, watching the boy move closer to the mansion. The edges of her eyes began to glow, as if they were burning.

Lance finally stood in front of the mansion. He looked at the top then worked his way down. He wondered when the heck htis had gotten ehre. He didn't remember there ever being a house here.

Blaze watched with pursed lips as this boy wandered up to the doors of the mansion. "Careful." she whispered, although she knew Derek would hear. "He's human." she finished, snapping her fangs at the last word. She wouldn't open the doors for him, but she could blow them open with a gust of wind, that along with Derek trying to scare him would be quite a show. And he might run away right after. That would be perfect. she thought to herself.

Derek smirked as he hears the word "go". Knowing that means the human was right at the door, he opened it. He was careful to stay behind the door as it opened. After he slowly opens it wide enough for the human to slip through, Derek uses his vampire speed to hide behind a column a few feet away. Now, I wait...

Lance's head tilted in ocnfusion at the opening door. "Huh..." he said and walked to it. He popped his head inside. Then he stepped just inside the doorway. "Very nice architecture..." he said in a fleeting thought that ran through his head, like most of his thoughts did.

Relying on his sense of hearing, Derek knew that the human had just stepped in. He would wait for the human to get farther in before he made his move. Come on, human. Just a little farther...

Lance stepped forward to look at a painting. "Huh...very....imaginative..." he said a bit hesitantly. The painting in question was rather dark. ......not to mention gory...

Derek quickly, but quietly, ran up behind the human and raised his arms up over his head. To tell you the truth, he felt like an idiot doing it, but seeing the human's reaction would be priceless. He bared his fangs and waited for the human to turn around. As soon as he did, Derek would "hiss" at the mortal.
