Elune sighed with utmost contentment. Everything about this night was mystifying and surreal. A realization on how much the presence of Toki could make the night so different. How long had she gone without even a second thought of having the company of others? She had never had such a desire. Now...now, she didn't want this time to end. The night had new purpose, one for which she couldn't quite understand. To put into words how she felt, and before she could think a moment longer, words began to pour from her mouth in soft melody.
The night sky was born today, and I'll tell you how:
The stars above opened up and let it out.
I was gazing on the surface of a perforated dream
When your voice, filled every hole.
And thousands upon thousands making music,
Making music, where no music has gone.
My feelings are overjoyed; they take to your heart.

The rhythm of your hoofsteps crossing forests to my home

The distance is quite simply much too far for me to fly
It seems farther than ever before
His home the sky, hers the ground. Could the two of them truly be? The world around her spins like mad, as she steps in closer to the one unmoving force in this moment...Toki.
I need you so much closer
Stepping within a whiskers reach of Toki's cheek, her voice lowered to a humming whisper.I need you so much closer. The echoing warm words sent with the intent to linger in his ear.
I need you more...
I need you closer...
A mirrored desire.

Tokidoki stared at Elune in wonder. He hadn't expected her to sing him a song in return. But as she sang, he couldn't help but become enticed in her and her melody. It was beautiful, even more so then his song. There was something about Elune that lured him in with every word and movement she made. Whether she was singing or not. There was something about her that made him want to get closer to her. Could she hypnotize anyone into this situation, or was it just him? Could she make anyone feel like they've know her forever? Could she sing like that for anyone? Or just him?
As she stepped so close to him, a chill ran down his spine. She was amazing. And though their songs may not reach each other day to day. They did today, and he couldn't help but want to stay like this forever.
"That was beautiful... You're beautiful." He smiled.
What else could he say?

And Elune hadn't expected to sing in return. It seemed so easy just then. Now here she was, still standing so close to Toki, thinking about the two songs together. Thinking about the two of them, Toki and herself...together.
Pulling away from him slowly, she let her muzzle barely touch his cheek. A ghost like trail of heat. One that might leave his face feeling tickled and cool after she stepped away.
"I. Could get lost in you, too." Goosebumps everywhere, from head to hoof, covered Elune. Her senses tingled with the static after shock of that slight graze against his skin. A more youthful mare might giggle at the sensation. Elune embraced it, holding onto this feeling. This is a moment she would make sure not to forget.
"I think, we are both beautiful.." her words trailed off. Her 'I think' containing no uncertainty, but spoken with a matter of fact and enticing tone. A cool grin laced across her face, as she prepared to finish her statement. Her eyes fixed on his, she glanced down in a flirty way, then back up as she said: "Together." Her tail flickered a little, like a wild cat as she awaited his response.

It seemed the more Toki and Elune were together, the closer they got. Even if this was only their second meeting, no one but them could possibly know. But how can someone just fall for someone so quickly? Was it merely lust, or could it actually be true? How could one tell if they've never been in love before? Toki had never had the desire to feel such a thing. When he was younger all he did was mess around with the mares. String them along, and play with their feelings. He may have changed, but whose to say there isn't some of that still in him? Whose to say you can't really get rid of what you used to be? He had no idea. All he knew was Elune was different. Would things end up the same with her? He deeply hoped it wouldn't, but whose to say?
His heart slowy began to pound faster and faster with her words. No ones made him feel this way before. "We seem to be on the same page then, don't we?" His genuine continued to shine.
Toki didn't know how things would end up with Elune. He wanted to find out, but was deeply frightened it would end badly. Just like every other time. What should he do? He didn't know, but he surely wasn't going to let Elune know what he was feeling...

Elune couldn't have a more pure and innocent desire. The life she spent alone in the forest, never seemed alone till she met another. Toki was the only constant difference between her time in solitude. It was natural for her to not imagine time with another. To her it wasn't chance, but just part of the every day life around her. A pivotal moment in time in which she met him twice, time would only repeat itself and bring them together more and more. To her.
"Then stay with me, for as long as you can." Her words ribboned across the grass as she lowered her head, bent her knees, and cuddled close to the ground. As long as you can. However long he could manage, before he had to return to his sky. She would await his return, even then.
Friends, or more than friends.. This could only be kismet beginnings.

Toki was more conflicted then ever. He began to think out ever single out come that could happen if he stayed. And in the end, they all ended in pain. He didn't want to hurt Elune for a second, but it still seemed as if that would be inevitable. But what if he told her 'No' now? Wouldn't that make her hurt? Make her come to the conclusion he didn't like her as much as she might like him? Then what? Would they never see each other again. He couldn't bare not to see Elune again, and he couldn't bare to see her hurt. If he knew his past self was gone for good, he would've said 'Yes!' in an instant. However, he knew there was some of his old self lingering inside of him. It haunted him everyday, but is that reason enough to hurt her? No, I can't hurt her. My past may be fighting a battle inside of my... Trying to get back out. But with Elune around, how can I lose that fight? He wanted to stay with her... As long as he could.
After a moment of silence, he answered. "I will." He hid any doubt he had well with his charming smile.
God, don't let this end bad...
