Shadow of Julius Mrs Gey Shadow of Julius Mrs Gey Shadow of Julius the word Vizard and Hollow echo viciously in his head, making him remember his concious battle with his darkside- "You! What do you want from me!" Kratos said in a blank room with his Zanpakuto in its second form. The almost pure white version Kratos replies with 'his' Gemini blades in the opposite hands. "You, friend!" "Don't call me "FRIEND" you b*****d!" Kratos lunges at the alter ego using shunpo, but the hit didn't make it. Instead it backfired and the White Kratos slashes Kratos lunging him about 30 ft. "is that all you got, friend" A huge smile comes across his disturbing "and i was just getting started! Hehehehehehe..."...and at that time he made up his mind... "Show me the way out...If i am what you say i am, then "He" might attempt to kill me and you for fun, so show me the way out..." Kratos walks over and grabs his oversized blade, looks at Reena and reaches his hand to help her up... Reena slaps his hand away and helps herself up. "No, your not going anywhere. And you certainly wont find your way out without my help. Now sit back down," she shoved him back down. "If I'm going to do anything, I'm going to tame that thing inside your head. Even though I'd enjoy to watch a few shinigamis die, I don't need something else to worry about without getting a blade through my chest." She muttered the last part. She walked around, grumbling under her breath as she looked for the needed materials she'd need to keep Kratos at bay while he fought his hollow. "I'm going to fight you, and you're going to fight that hollow. You have to beat it." She continued, her back still turned."Hehehe...If its a fight you want! Then im not holding back!" He pulls out his sword and shatters the floor when the sword came down. "Ankoku Yo Rampu...Shitsunen!" His Shikai form appears and his eyes turn red and black. "I don't want to hurt you, but you give me no choice, so turn around and fight!" Kratos' hands clenches his sword so hard that his hands bleed. Reena glances at him over her shoulder, and raises an eyebrow at him. "I'm not looking for a fight from you." Her voice sounded disgusted. She walks over, stopping just two feet away from him. If he wanted to, then he could stab her through the chest. "If you're so eager to fight, succum(sp) to that beast of yours, and fight him. I'd happily fight you then, for then you would surely at least be a good match towards me." She crosses her arms over her chest and waits for his response."Unfortunately! I Will not succumb to "him"" Kratos says holding his blades ready to fight. "And im not one to judge to quickly! This is MY body and if anything "his" power will be mine to control!" Kratos lunges at full speed using Shunpo and attempts to strike... (I like how he "attempts" to strike. Then again, Reena is a super-powerful Espada...) Reena dodges and skips around Kratos. "Do you mean you wont succum, or you cant? If you can't then it means you're weak. If you wont, it just means your plain stupid." Reena ducked just as Kratos' blade whips toward her head.

Ai Enma of Hell ~ Back in the Realm of the living~It would be early morning, and Old man Daichi had taken Chou out to the middle of the forest on his land for what she had assumed to be training. Chou would look at her wrist watch with her oddly colored eyes not even completely open yet, it would read exactly 5:30 am. The sun hadn't even rose yet from the other end of the globe. Chou yawned sleepily, gently mewing at the end of her yawn, an odd habit of hers but a habit non the less. Lifting a her delicate pale looking hand up to her mouth to cover it in a graceful manner despite how tired she was. She would look over at Diachi with watery big eyes in an accusing manner. She would then speak out in an adorable whining manner. "Nakanaga- sensei! why did you drag me out here to the middle of this abandoned neck of the woods at this hour?! The sun isn't even awake yet!"Daichi's face wouldn't change from it's stoic look as all as he continued to lead her to an open medow. Daichi had become accustomed to Chou's habit's of being cute at odd moments. He also knew she knew how to be serious when she needed to be. He'd sigh as he turned to her and gave her a scolding look. "It's bad enough that a Gaigin (sp?) (half Japanese, half white person) was able to become a Quincy by blood, and then is lucky enough to find a Sensei to help her find the way of the Quincy. However when one can't even be serious in the time of need that is another thing entirely."Chou looked up at her teacher, and then her face grew stoic. It had been like this since day one. Daichi had done much to scare her away from becoming a Quincy, he told her much about her most likely dieing while fighting among other things like possibly even finding herself being raped by the enemy. She always ignored this and thought of her father, she was determined to learn what was in her father's blood. She believed it would bring her one step closer to her father in spirit and finding out what had really happened the night of the accident. She also found, it was better to die protecting something of great imporance to you as opposed to dying of old age knowing that there is a war going on and there is nothing you are doing about it. So in this she would look up at her teacher and say plainly. "I am as serious about this as bright as a fire burns through the darkness of the night."He wouldn't look back as his crimson eyes narrowed, this would be something he had never taught her before. Infact this may be the last thing her would teach her if she didn't watch her step. He'd let his arm relax at his side and then turned with a pitchers position, with a large amount of spiritual energy forming itself into a small ball into his gloved hand. Her eyes widened, before she could even think he chucked the ball of energy at her and quickly leaped to move out of it's path. It'd hit a couple of trees behind her causing them to explode. The splinters from the tree's would go flying in her direction and she hit the floor covering herself from the splinters. Chou would lift her head and look up as soon as it seemed the ball was out of site and then looked up at her teacher angrilly. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!"Daichi would smile and shrug as she lifted her head to yell, and then gently lifted her finger to point behind her. The ball was in fact out of the area but to one who could sense it's energy it would be returning to the direction it came from. "You might want to stop yelling at me and start running..."Chou's eyes would widen as she looked back and the ball of energy came charging at her at an incredible speed. She'd begin to run as fast as her weak legs could carry her. In the mean while Diachi would be dodging all the wreckage and chaos the ball was causing at a god like speed, keeping the grace of a bird, by leaping from tree branch to tree branch amongst other evasive manuvers. Chou kept running from the ball and kept landing on her face into the dirt while it chased her. Daichi would look at his watch after some time, it was now 7:30 am. His face would twist into an annoyed frown, she had done nothing but run and dodge his enery for the past 2 hours. He'd call out to taunt her forcing an arrogant smile. "You know you can't keep running and dodging it all day, sooner or later you will either need to make your move or die. Decide what you are going to do now or else you may run out of energy and lose all choice in the matter.... or... are you hoping to become a wimpy Shinigami? Tatsu would be so asshamed... his only daughter just so weak she always needs to run away..."He'd laugh viciously as she began to dodge the ball, moving faster, looking furious from his taunting. His purpose in this was to cause her to get mad enough to be able to force her spiritual pressure to work with her. If he was successful she would either be able to kick the ball out of the area, stop it, or punch it away. "Your just so pathetic... Just like him."Her eyes would widen in fury as she heard the rest of his comment and reached over picking up a large branch, with her right arm, that was next to her without thinking. She would feel a massive amount of energy burn through her arms, but wouldn't think anything of it she was furious. Even though the branch must have weighed alot by a normal persons standards to pick up with one hand, she managed to do it without feeling any strain in her right arm. She would grab onto it with her other hand, and the massive amount of energy flowing through her arms would flow out into the branch. The branch began to glow from the massive amount of energy in it, she waited for a few seconds then swung the branch hard, hitting the ball of energy. The branch began to snap causing splinters to fly out as it broke. With her fury she had aimed the ball directly at Daichi when she hit it. His face would remain stoic and he'd lift his hand catching the ball as if it were nothing. The ball stopped spinning and soon began to stop glowing, revealing itself to be a regular baseball. Chou would look up at her Teacher furiously and held the glowing bat with one hand pointing at him with her index finger of the other. She was panting hard, covered in sweat, trying to catch her breath. "You can say what ever the hell you want about me... but don't you ever EVER CALL MY FATHER WEAK AGAIN!"He'd look calm as he watched her trying to catch his breath, what caught him of gaurd was what had occured next. As soon as the girl screamed with all her strength, he mouth began to glow and a large amount of energy flew out of her mouth, much like a normal Quincy arrow would have. His eyes widened for a moment and then he calmed down and jumped down from the branch before it could hit him. He looked over at the girl for awhile and began to try and firgure out why she was able to concentrait so much energy. Chou would fall down on her knees leaning forward and coughing out a large amount of blood, her body would be shaking violently. It then suddenly occured to Daicho why she looked so young and so frail at her age, her lack of ability to control the spiritual energy around her was causing a strange reaction for her body. His eyes narrowed as he walked up to her and looked over her condition analyzing it carefully. He then spoke softly and kneeled naxt to her gently rubbing her back. "And so I shan't..."She began to cough violently again, looking up furiously at him coughing out more blood. It would be quite obvious to him that she was trying to throw harsh words at him. He looked at her and sighed, picking her up and placing her over his shoulder. He then knew automaticly what he needed to do. He needed to take her to the "Soul Society" (temporary word placement) and get her to the squad four team stat. He then began to run through the wood's and tried to keep Chou calm by making a few jokes. "Well... it looks like my inlaws the Sohma's are going to be madder then hell about "their" property being destroyed... Do you think they'll believe me if I told them it was my wife who did it?"He'd chuckle as he ran quicker. Chou's face would grow paler and paler as her body drained of blood. This was almost normal for Daichi by now, since the first day he had trained her he saw that she didn't take it too well, however this was the first time he had seen her cough up blood. He then knew this time she would build up more endurance, but she may end up being like this for the rest of her life, if she even survived this attack. He began to look pissed and began to scream out name's of Shinigami (sp?) he had knew personally for the past few years. He would see her color drain and began to run faster towards the nearest Shinigami watchmen in the area. "I need some help here!" It was right after Hikari had dodged the blast of Kido that she herself had thrown when she felt it. There were bursts of reiatsu in the area and then, she heard a commotion. It sounded like someone calling for help. She smiled apologetically at Tsu. "I'm sorry, Tsu-kun... It sounds like we'll have to continue this later. Duty calls and all..." She turned serious and put her zanpakuto away. "Over here!" She felt an unfamiliar reiatsu, actually, quite a few and wondered if the other captains were aware of this strange presence. "Tsu, what's going on?" She called over to her friend. She summoned a hell butterfly to alert Captain Unohana and any other nearby captains of the strange events and added a message that she may need backup. She saw the two figures approaching, and realized that one looked to be on death's door and immediately paled. "Please, bring her here! I am Misuzu Hikari, lieutenant of the 4th Squad. I have just alerted my captain and she should be here soon!" She knelt down, and silently prayed that she hadn't messed around too much with her kido earlier with Tsu. This was going to take a substantial amount of spirit energy to heal, and Hikari only hoped that she had enough.

And will Chou make it?" Chou had already fainted on the way over, however her body would continue to cough out an unusually large amount of blood. Her reiastu continuing to rise, her body once again began to shiver violently, and as he placed a hand on her forehead. He quickly pulled it away as he felt his hand seer in pain as he felt the heat rise from her body. Chou's eyes would shoot open and she began to toss and turn in pain from the intense heat of her core temperature. "Water... I need water... Sensei... we need to keep training, I'm not done yet!"It was obvious at this time that she was very dillusional with her core temperature, and yet she felt the heat of her body rise. She reached up for the crucifix around her neck and clung onto it tightly as she began to scream out for her father. Daichi growled angrily and ran into a different direction and came back with water and dumped it on the girl. "Damn it Murisaki LIVE!"

Daichi growled angrily and ran into a different direction and came back with water and dumped it on the girl. "Damn it Murisaki LIVE!"Hikari closed her eyes and concentrated her remaining reiatsu on the healing kido that she had mastered. A healing energy soon began to glow a gentle green color around the girl, and Hikari soon found herself tiring rather quickly. "It's... okay... Taicho will soon arrive. I think I'm able to sustain her," she panted. "At least until she gets here. I shouldn't have wasted... my kido so foolishly..." It was pretty bad, and Hikari knew that if she'd been at full strength, to save this girl she would have become winded, but unleashing that hado before, she had put her all into it. Figuring that she would practice and play around with kido combinations and train with Tsu awhile without restaint. I'm such an idiot. Because I was fooling around, if this girl dies because of me, I'll never forgive myself. She found herself thinking. "Misuzu! We recieved your message! What is going on?!" Hikari recognized the 10th Squad captain's voice but was struggling to answer him, feeling her reiatsu reach her limit. "My...captain..." she murmured to him. "Is she... here... I can't... keep this up much longer." The white haired captain assessed the scene and intervened. "Rest, Misuzu, I'll take over until she arrives," he ordered, pushing her out of the way; the girl too exhausted to refuse by now. "That won't be necessary, Hitsugaya-taicho." "Unohana-taicho," Hikari sighed in relief. She glanced over at Hikari as she began using her healing kido. "Misuzu-fukutaicho, it appears you managed to keep her stable until I was able to arrive. However, you should have been able to fully stabilize her yourself." "U-um... sorry...I guess, I messed up a little," Hikari said softly, trying to stand, but sinking back down to her knees. She couldn't stand right now, she was just too drained. Her eyes drooped, and she fought the urge to fall asleep. "This girl is going to need to rest," Unohana finally said, turning to her companion. "I was able to stabilize her for now, but she needs to recover in the 4th Division." She released her zanpakuto, Minazuki, and made to carry the girl with her. "Afterwords, of course, we will want to know your names and why you're here. Everyone else, please follow me. Hikari, come here." "N...no... I'm fine," Hikari said softly, ashamed. "I'll follow later. I'm perfectly fine." She felt terrible for her failures, and didn't want to burden her captain anymore. Besides, with the new arrivals, her captain would be busy and she needed to focus her attention on the injured person. Hikari was just exhausted, and a bit of rest would fix that. "Let's all head back, huh?" "There is still the matter of the other reiatsu that we all felt earlier," Hitsugaya was saying. "We must investigate this immediately. I'll have my squad look into this. Can you contact your squad members?" He turned to Tsurabisu.

The old man felt horribly guilty for forcing Chou into such a fury. He watched the Taicho of the fourth squad do her work, while he heard Chou suffer from the intense amount of reiatsu building up in her body. She clung onto her fathers cross tightly until her hand began to bleed and was being seered from the heat of the cross her body was putting into it. He winced as he watched her hand bleed from her fathers cross and then sighed and kneeled next to her. He then looked over at the fourth Taicho and spoke quietly, as he looked over to the blisters on both of Chou's hands. "My wife is at home and has no idea that I took her out to train so early in the morning. If I left my name, gave you her name, and stated what we were doing here may I go back to go check up on my wife? I will come back to check up on my student ASAP if I am allowed to..." His face looked very serious at the moment as he watched Chou squirm around.

Can you contact your squad members?" He turned to Tsurabisu. Tsu looked down at the bleeding girl and the cross she was clinging to so pathetically. "Quincy..." The disgust in his voice was more than obvious. He had no love for the Quincy and probably never would. He saw them as worthless. Less than worthless actually, since their methods still threatened the worlds. He shook his head as the fourth squad's Captain released her Zanpakuto. What a waste... But he knew it wasn't his call to make. The fourth squad would treat any injured person they found no matter who they were. It was what they did. So totally different from himself and squad eleven. Tsurabisu stood next to Hikari, resting his hand on her shoulder. He knew she would be alright after some rest. Nothing to worry about physically. But emotionally though... "Captain Unohana. The reason Hikari was unable to handle this by herself was because she was training full force with me. It's not really her fault that these Ryoka showed up when they did." Luckily for Tsu, the tenth squad Captain cut off the retort that would have undoubtedly come from Unohana. Tsu turned to Hitsugaya and nodded. "Yeah. I'm off duty but I suppose I could let the Captain know. He takes all the fun anyways... I'll send him as soon as I can find him." Tsu turned to leave but waited just a few seconds longer. "Hikari, I'll check on you later." With a nod to each, he said, "Captain Unohana. Toshiro." A grin played across Tsurabisu's face at the last part before he used his Flash Step to head toward the eleventh squad's barracks.

Ai Enma of Hell Hallie Neko-chan Hikari closed her eyes and concentrated her remaining reiatsu on the healing kido that she had mastered. ((Daichi is not an actually chracter just a side char)) Daichi looked over at his pain filled pupil and then looked away. "Yes, you may go back after you leave us your name and tell us how you ended up here. I must bring her to emergency care," the captain said. "Speak with my lieutenant before you leave."

TJ the Dragon Prince Hallie Neko-chan Ai Enma of Hell Hallie Neko-chan It was right after Hikari had dodged the blast of Kido that she herself had thrown when she felt it. The older man spotted Hikari and ran straight for her, his speed increasing as he felt Chou's reiatsu rise dramaticly in the next few seconds. He would run over to her and gently placed Chou infront of the fourth Squad member. Diechi would look at Hikari carfully and asked a question bluntly. "Will she make it on time? I shouldn't have wasted... my kido so foolishly..." "Let's all head back, huh?" "There is still the matter of the other reiatsu that we all felt earlier," Hitsugaya was saying. "We must investigate this immediately. I'll have my squad look into this. Can you contact your squad members?" He turned to Tsurabisu. "Yeah. A grin played across Tsurabisu's face at the last part before he used his Flash Step to head toward the eleventh squad's barracks. An annoyed scowl appeared on the 10th captain's face. He looked down at Hikari, who was still slumped on the ground. "You and your friend... are as different as night and day. He has very little respect for his superiors. And yet you, Misuzu..." She sighed. "Sorry, Hitsugaya-taicho," she said, too exhausted to explain further to Hitsugaya. In truth, she knew Tsu harbored dislike and jealousy for the young captain, but she never understood why. She just didn't understand Tsu as much as she wished to. Despite years of their close friendship she still felt like a stanger to him much of the time. His anger towards Hitsugaya was made obvious, and as far as him standing up to her captain like that, she couldn't understand his need to defend her. After all, she was the one at fault, right? Unohana broke in. "I am leaving with the girl now. Hikari-fukutaicho, get their information and report to me as soon as possible. There will be paperwork to fill out later on today for this incident." She left on her summoned zanpakuto, taking the girl over to 4th Division. Hikari tried to stand, but failed once again. "Hitsugaya-sama, I'm sorry to ask this of you, but could you please stay until I get the information needed from this Ryoka? I don't have the strength to follow him if he should run." After sitting for awhile, she didn't feel like she was going to pass out anymore, but since she remained conscious, her energy was returning to her alot more slowly than if she'd just rested normally. Hitsugaya nodded and summoned a hell butterfly, sending a message to his lieutenant. "I've just sent orders for Matsumoto to start investigating the reiatsu in my absence. But I can't stay long, in case my squad needs me. Time is of the essence." He turned to Diachi, waiting with arms folded. ((OOC: Okay I gotcha, Ai smile ))

((OOC: Okay I gotcha, Ai smile )) Daichi glared at the Shinigami that walked away, he had no idea what he was talking about as he threw out the Quincy's good name in disgust. The "child" that had just been picked up by the fourth Squad captain was no more of a quincy then the shinigami that threw that comment out. How could some half blooded outsider even be considered one of them. It was becoming more and more obvious to him that Chou was a danger to herself and those around her, the only reason he was even helping her out was because she was Tatsu's kid, other then that he held no obligation to her needs nor cared about her. At first he had seen potential, but now he saw nothing but danger for her and everyone else. The older man turned to Hitsugaya and crossed his arms as he realized that the captain of the tenth squad was indeed... short. His eye brow began to twich becauce he really did not feel like explaining his own business to a mere child, a shinigami no less, however he knew it was in his best interest to do so if he didn't want any trouble. "I was training that girl, and suddenly her reiatsu went out of control... As to how we got here I have no knowledege of it, for as your friend has clearly stated, clearly the Quincies and the Shinigami hold no friendly ties... The last thing I remember was running down the path on my land hopinh that one of your patrol members down in the Realm of the living was a squad four member, I would have been obviously out of luck if I went to take her to a human hospital. My name is Daichi Nakanaga... the girl's name is Chou Murisaki. If I were you I'd put her out of her misery as soon as possible, because as far as I am concerned she is a danger to herself and others around her... She is no longer any concern of mine..."

Tsu arrived at the squad eleven barracks in time to hear an argument begin between Ikkaku and Yumichika. He was still too far away to hear what it was about, but it was probably no different than usual. Tsu shook his head and went to find his Captain. "Captain Zaraki should be around here somewhere..." Tsu leaped to the top of the barracks building and looked around. No sign of him anywhere. This time of day, it was rare that he would have been sitting around his quarters, but it was worth a check. He jumped down from the building and headed in the direction of his Captain's room. When Tsu arrived, he knocked on the door and waited for a response. A few minutes and several knocks later, he decided to head somewhere else. "For crying out loud... I'm supposed to be off duty! Next time I should tell that half pint to do it himself." Busy talking to himself, he almost completely missed seeing Kenpachi coming down the hallway in the other direction carrying Lieutenant Kusajishi. "Look Kenny! It's-" Yachiru stopped short calling Tsu by a nick name, mostly because as soon as he heard her speak, he pulled out a few pieces of candy he kept with him at all times for just such an occasion. "Hey. You know the deal, Lieutenant. No nickname and you get candy, remember?" "Yeah yeah! I remember, Tsu! Now give me the candy, okay?" The little, pink haired girl shot off of Kenpachi's shoulder and landed next to Tsurabisu. She quickly snatched the candy and took her usual perch on Zaraki's back. "Yay! You always have the good ones! But I never get to caah meuh a nammm" The last part was spoken with a mouth full of sugary treats that he had picked up last time Tsu had been in the world of the living. "Yeah, exactly..." Tsu mumbled. "Oh, hey, Captain. That midget over in squad ten wanted me to tell you that he felt some weird spiritual pressure in the area. He thinks it might be from some Ryoka. Apparently, he wanted your help finding it or something. I don't really know. You know I don't really pay any attention to what he says. Heh."
"Is that right? Figures a kid like that couldn't deal with a few Ryoka on his own. Anything else?" "Well, I guess a few Quincies showed up. One was taken to squad four because she was pretty messed up. A waste of time if you ask me, but you know how they are. Anyways... Orders, Sir?" "No. Just go about your business. I'll go see what squad ten wants." Zaraki turned to leave, though he was heading in the wrong direction pointed out by Yachiru. "Oh. One more thing. I head the dojo's wall has a hole in it. I was told I should ask you about it, Tsurabisu." "Really? Hmmm... Well, can I really help it if someone accidentally broke it with his head earlier today?" "Fair enough." Yachiru spoke up after that. "Sounds like Tsu was having fun again today, Kenny! But he doesn't play nice with his friends. You should play with him later, Kenny! Bye bye Tsu!" "Later Lieutenant. Captain." And with that, they were gone. Tsu sighed. Now with Hikari out of action for a little and Yumichika and Ikkaku off somewhere fighting, he was bored. Maybe he could join the search for those Ryoka? Naw. that meant that he would have to deal with Toshiro, and that was one thing he didn't want to deal with right then. Shaking his head, he headed off toward his favorite spot to sit and think. Shortly, he sat under a nice size tree overlooking a koi pond. It was a nice spot to sit and relax. It didn't hurt that most of the seats under him wouldn't bother him unless it was important. Tsu leaned against the tree and idly played with the tattered red scarf that he wore.

Instantly, her reiatsu level rose as she gave into her anger and she clenched her fists, taking a step forward when the captain stopped her, by grasping her arm firmly and pulling her behind him. "Is that all, Quincy?" Hitsugaya stated, his eyes cold. "If so, then you are clear to leave. Your input is appreciated, but you don't need to worry yourself further. The girl is no longer your concern ." Hikari tried to shake his arm off her weakly. "But that's not-" "Misuzu!" The captain scolded her, giving her an irritated glare. Instantly, her anger evaporated, and without that burst of adrenaline, Hikari once again sank to her knees. "...I didn't mean it, Taicho. Yes, sir, you are free to leave," she mumbled, looking down at the ground. She knew that Hitsugaya was just trying to pacify the man and get him to leave with no troubles, but she couldn't seem to let it go. He was caring for the girl and then later speaking of the girl as if she were nothing more than trash? Hikari's fatigue was finally catching up with her, and having just released the reiatsu that she'd just barely regained, plus the fact that the person she looked up to just reprimanded her, Hikari gave into it and sank into the depths of unconsciousness. Noticing that the girl behind him had passed out, the white haired captain rolled his eyes slightly. What did she expect was going to happen, constantly having outbursts like a little child? He shook his head. She spends too much time training with Hinamori. She's just like her sometimes! He could send for help, but it really wasn't wise to stay there. Things were going on and waiting for a response from Squad 4 who were already busy with a potentially dangerous girl would probably not be the best thing. But Hitsugaya couldn't just leave the girl laying there helpless could he? He sent for a hell butterfly. "I'm taking the 4th Squad lieutenant with me. Please pick her up in the court yard gardens." He figured that the Squad 4 building was in the opposite direction of what he was going, but the court yard was on his way, and Hikari would be safer in there. He lifted the unconscious girl and took off with her, using shunpo and arriving at the gardens, before setting her up against a sakura tree. He suddenly felt a presence, and realized that the troublesome 11th Squad, 4th seat was nearby, rolling his eyes in annoyance. He hadn't the time to be dealing with this nonsense, but at least Hikari wouldn't be left alone and defenseless in her unconscious state now. As if her friend would leave her there. Well, if he's as good of a friend as she constantly claims him to be, Hitsugaya reasoned to himself. Saying nothing, and figuring that the presence of Hikari's reiatsu was explanation enough for the rude 4th seat to figure it out on his own, Hitsugaya used shunpo and disappeared from the scene in pursuit of the other Ryoka.

As he was starting to doze off, Tsu suddenly felt Hikari very close by. "Wha-?" To his left, he saw Toshiro setting Hikari next to a tree just a few meters away. Tsu shot to his feet, his hand going to Hoshokusha, the look in his eye unmistakable. No words were necessary. Back off and leave her alone. I'll take care of her. Hitsugaya didn't respond to Tsu at all before darting off using his Flash step. The second he was away, Tsu went to Hikari's side and knelt next to her. "You okay? Hikari...?" She was out. Though, he couldn't blame her. He had seen what she did after their little spar. Gently, he picked her up and carried her to the tree he had been sitting under and set her down on the soft grass. He sat down next to her and quietly watched his childhood friend. "How dare he lay a hand on her... I swear if he ever does again..." Tsu cut himself off. He knew he couldn't do anything to Toshiro. The main reason being Hikari obviously cared about him. In what way, Tsurabisu still didn't know. Though he hoped it was just respect for him. He always feared it would turn into something else some day though. Another reason was, while he hated to admit it, Toshiro was just stronger than him. He was a Captain for crying out loud. True, Tsu knew he wasn't that far off from his own Bankai, but the gap between them was still just too far apart. For now...

It would be several hour's later before Chou woke up. Her conciousness was the first to awaken, her eyes however did not open right away. She listened for any sounds in the room, nothing. She began to hope that everything that had happened was just a dream, if it wasn't she'd probably be scolded for sleeping in, to make sure she called out softly, "Sensei... I'm sorry for sleeping in again" there was no reply.
She then dared to hope that she was back home, in her bed back in her home town in Southern California. If she opened her eyes now she would most likely find that her dad had already left for work, and her mom was either down in the living room waiting for her with vicious intent, or had already gone out drinking. She frowned at the thought, but atleast it ment her father wasn't dead.
She'd open one eye reluctantly to greet the day, when she saw a wooden plank she was startled. She opened both eyes to quickly see where she was. It looked to be an old style Edo period room, which told her she definetely wasn't home or in a hospital from home, nor was she at Daichi's house. Her face looked paniced for a minute, it was the equivilant of a five year old waking up in a strangers house. When she went to lift her arm and any portion of her body it refused to budge, everything hurt horribly. She finally forced herself to sit up through all the pain and began to look around, she had noticed that a strange glowing tube made up of something she had never seen before come out of her hand much like an I.V. in a normal hospital would. Her arm didn't even look like it was even hers, it was scrawny and looked to have never been used in it's life.
She paniced and her eye's widened, she was so scared the scream she tried to force out wouldn't even come out. She went to move her hand to pull out the strange glowing wire from her arm, and she felt someone's hand clasp on hers. She'd turn to look over to see who had grabbed her hand, her heart nearly skipping a beat from how scared she was. When she turned she saw a silver haired young man laying in a bed next to hers. He looked very sickly, and yet he seemed to have a friendlt feeling about him. She couldn't help but stare because of how beautiful she seemed to find him. His eyes locked with her's in concern and he spoke softly. Unfortunately for her she had no way of knowing that the man in the bed next to her's was Ukitake the 13th Squad's Taicho.
"I wouldn't pull that out if I were you miss..."
He'd cough into his free hand weakly. He'd then smile compasionately after coughing.
"They'll make you stay longer if you do, that and you might hurt yourself..."
He'd chuckle as he caught her staring at him, he only seemed to have this problem with his subordinates, so he felt quite flattered. It was refreshing to have just one person do it, considering the only thing his two subordinates did was constantly bicker over trying to please him. Chou found herself blushing and quickly looked away, realizing she had been staring rudely.
"I wouldn't want that at all... By the way thanks for the advice Mr...um...?"
He'd cuckle weakly as he saw Chou's embarrassment and spoke softly. Neither one of them had realized his hand was still firmly clasped on her's and they wouldn't for awhile. She'd wince loudly as she felt burning surge through her hand. She hadn't felt the pain until now because she was so frightened, she didn't even notice it was bleeding.
"I'm sorry miss, the squad four members weren't able to heal your hand because you were clinging onto your cross too tightly, so they couldn't remove your hand from it without hurting you. My name is Ukitake, it's a pleasure to meet you miss. It's not often I get to see a new face around here... Does a pretty girl like you have a name?"
She'd blush at his statement, not many people called her pretty at all especially not in this condition. In fact alot of people assumed her to be bad luck because she always seemed to end up in the hospital at home in the US because of falling down a flight of stairs or something similarly dangerous. She spoke horsely because this was what her body permitted.
"My name is Murisaki, Cho it's a pleasure to meet you Ukitake..."
She wasn't trying to sound rude, it was just what she had gotten used to growing up at home. She wasn't aware that using titles were important in this country. Ukitake would blush slightly at the fact she hadn't used one and chuckled softly, assuming she just must have forgotten her manners in the panic.
"Not at all the pleasure is all mine, Murisaki- san..."
She would look a bit stunned by the fact that he had used a title for her and then said absent mindedly.
"Please just Chou is alright..."
Ukitaki's face would go beet red, because he now assumed that she really was interested in him, and that letting him use her name so lightly was quite a give away. She was unaware of this and looked completely oblivious to what she had said and then saw him blushing profusely and spoke sounding a bit confused.
"What is the matter...? Did I say something wrong?"
Ukitake went to speak, but before he was able to, the door slammed open and his two subbordinates ran in making a fuss.
"Ukitake- Taicho! Are you feeling any better today?! We just got a report from Byakuya - Taicho (Sorry I can't remember how to spell his last name) there is a large amount..."
The man subordinate would be stopped and then shoved by the girl subordinate who continued to relay the message. They however seemed to preoccupied with themselves to even notice that Chou was in the room.
"Of Reiatsu in the are...a?"
The girl was both shocked and surprised by the fact that the 13th Taicho's hand was clutching onto Chou's. She then looked paniced and began to point, waving her finger in over dramatized panic.
"Taich-chchcho! That strange girl is holding YOUR hand! Doesn't she even know who you are?!"
Ukitake blushed for a quick second and then it disappeared quickly as he quickly let go of Chou's hand. He would then clear his throat sounding a bit annoyed at the two.
"Lets get back to the point shall we? What is it that Byakuya- Sama wanted?"
The girl's face went from panic to seriousness in about 1.2 seconds. She then calmed down from her over dramatized panic from Chou and went back to her over dramatized panic of the situation.
"Ye-yes Byakuya- Taicho wanted us to come tell you that he wanted you to come help him check out the situation..."
At this Ukitake jumped out of the bed he had been resting in and was oddly enough dressed and ready to go. He looked a bit better then he had been when Chou first noticed him and he ran out the door shouting back to the two.
"Tell him I am on my way!"
Chou looked at the two in shock and spoke stumbling on her words unable to comprehend what had just happened.
"What about Ukitake's condition?! Shouldn't he be resting?! A minute a go he looked really ill..."
The girl turned after hearing this and barked at Chou angrily. She couldn't understand how some strange Ryoka could show her captain so much disrespect so easily. She reached out to slap her, and hit Chou hard enough to cause her face to turn.
"Don't you DARE, use Ukitake- Sama's name with such disrespect! A Ryoka who has no clue as to what goes on here has no business in our affairs! And Ukitake- Sama is more then able to handle himself unlike some pathetic girl like you who can't even keep blood down..."
With that a member of Squad four walked in to check up on Chou, and saw the girl yell at the top of her lungs to Chou, who's eyes were wide open with her face turned to the side. He would also notice the huge red mark on her face. It was Hanamaru, as soon as he saw the look on chou's face he walked over to the girl angrily and slapped her face hard. In which the girl clasped the spot she had been slapped and whimpered.
"How DARE you come into this area and disregaurd a very ill patient! For all you know you could have made the situation WORSE! Unohana- Taicho left this girl in MY care! So I will deal with her as I please... now get out! Before I decide to make up a report to send to your Taicho..."
The girl looked angry and ran out, the man who had come in with her looked dumb founded by what had just happend and ran after her. Hanamaru (sorry if that isn't his name I haven't watched or read up on any of this in a long time) walked up to Chou, and gently set a tray of food down on her lap. He'd speak in a much softer and shyer tone then he had a moment ago.
"I'm sorry about those two miss... they are a bit obsessive when it comes to Ukitake- Taicho. I brought you some food... you must be hungry, it was the crack of dawn when they brought you in here wasn't it?"
Chou would nod silently just staring at the boy, it was hard to believe he was the same person who was yelling at the two people earlier.
"Then you must be starving... that is a long time to go without eating... Lets see... I brought you some Onegiri, and some soup, they won't let me feed you anything more solid until we can figure out what the problem is exactly. You look as if you haven't eaten well in quite awhile though, which isn't a good sign. So I'll let you eat and I will check up on you later ok? I'll see you soon!"
Chou was quite surprised, alot of people here... where ever she was, were a lot kinder to her then most people she has ever met in her life other then her father. She sipped at the soup slowly, and found that it tasted wonderful, discovering she was really hungry and devoured most of the soup. She would then stuff her face with the Onegiri hungrily wincing at the pain she felt in her right hand from holding onto the rice ball.
She would look out the window and notice such lovely trees growing outside of the strange building, she found herself so relaxed in this strange place. She wondered where her sensei had gone to, and how she was going to get back.

TJ the Dragon Prince As he was starting to doze off, Tsu suddenly felt Hikari very close by. "Wha-?" To his left, he saw Toshiro setting Hikari next to a tree just a few meters away. Tsu shot to his feet, his hand going to Hoshokusha, the look in his eye unmistakable. No words were necessary. Back off and leave her alone. I'll take care of her. True, Tsu knew he wasn't that far off from his own Bankai, but the gap between them was still just too far apart. For now... It had to have been quite awhile since she'd closed her eyes, the last sight being the 10th Division captain's haori, and the last thoughts being that she had failed and that she was useless. I have to wake up... I can't fail them again... Deep in a dream she kept thinking, and in a way she thought she was accomplishing as well. "...paperwork..." She turned over in her sleep. "Hitsu...sama...Reiatsu in...area...report... Unohana-taicho...Ryoka...gotta find Tsu-kun...uh?" She half mumbled and slowly opened an eye. "Ah? Tsu-kun?" Her eyes shot open. "That quincy!? Where'd he go?! I thought that... wait. Why am I here in the court yard? Last I recall I was out in the training grounds with Hitsugaya-sama and that quincy was still there... I musta fainted," she said sheepishly. She blushed and looked over at Tsu. "Did you come back for me?" It was all coming back to her. She knew that Captain Hitsugaya had needed to get back to his squad, so if she had passed out, she figured that he would have just called the 4th Squad to pick her up and left her there. After all, she wasn't from his squad anymore. And he'd been pretty irritated with her, as Unohana was. She sighed. I'm in trouble. Maybe I should think of demoting myself to 3rd seat. I don't think I can handle this.
