River walked into the bar and grabbed one young vampire by the waist, "Dance with me" he smiled at her, and she followed him out onto the floor, "Alright then" she laughed and they began to move to the music as she rested her head on his shoulder, "It's in my pocket baby doll."
River slipped his hand into the pocket of her jeans and pulled out a bag of green herbs. She giggled, "I don't know why you like that stuff so much, it barely does a thing for us." He shrugged, "It just puts me in a good mood after I eat." He kissed her cheek as the song came to an end and he left the dance floor, leaving her there swaying to the music by herself.
He found a bench and plopped down into it, rolling himself a joint, and closed his eyes after taking a long drag from it. A waitress came by and he ordered a Type A Bloody Mary.
He looked around, nothing all that exciting tonight, just a couple making out two seats away and a few humans looking to get bit tonight as usual. The waitress arrived holding his drink, "Thanks Mel" he drank half of it right away and smiled happily.
