(( Why do i always miss so damn much! >O ))
Rayne had ran after the man that had seemed to have heard the scream as well. She had saw the demon just before she vanished. "Why am I always late on the scene? It sucks!" She complained to herself standing behind the guy. She turned to see the Bard coming up behind them. "Sir, the demon has gone, the boy is safe, he ran home."

-My eyes stop glowing and I turn around to see someone in a cloak come towards them- "May I ask why this is such a big deal around here that people cower in fear of demons?"

"They just do." Rayne shrugged. "We help those who can't defend themselves. Simple as that." She looked at the stranger. "By the way, who are you?"

Elistral stopped. The only people she saw were Rayne, and a stranger with some beast standing by a broken wall. "Good," she said, answering to Rayne. "That boy has got to stop sneaking out of his house at such a late hour." She turned to the stranger, her hand loosening on her sword's hilt. He must've come sometime in the night, she thought to herself. "It's not safe to talk fully here," Elistral said, keeping her guise as a man. "These streets, this town, are not safe at night."
Verin woke up from his recent sleepy daze. Someone talked,not outside, but in his room. He peered out from under his pillow, still on his head. A woman was leaning up against his open window. Strange, he'd closed it before he had went to bed. He couldn't see her very well, but he could see that her hair was purple, or indigo. "Who are you?" Verin asked slowly.

-I answer Rayne first- "My name is not important but people call me Strider. As for safety I do not fear whatever is going on here but if you feel it unsafe then let us go somewhere else to speak freely. I feel a storm comeing." -Then just as I spoke clouds began to roll in and wind swept across the streets- "Is there an Inn where we could speak?"

Blair smiled, trying to sooth the child. "I am your Guardian, Dear. My name is whatever you wish to name me." She took a few steps closer to him. He seemed like a good target, or a wonderful pet to Blair.

"Wait." -I raise my hand and look around. Then I walk a ways and look up- *Gasp* -I run up the wall and jump into the window to see the demon and then I see the boy- "Get away from him!"

Elistral stood there as the stranger, Strider, talked to Rayne. The clouds above darkened as he spoke for some reason. Suddenly, Strider ran up one of the nearest walls to an open window. It seems he found the demon who scared the little boy, she thought. "He's certainly got a bit of energy, don't you think Rayne?" She chuckled a little.
"My guardian?" Verin asked. He pushed his pillow to the side, sitting up. A guardian wouldn't just sneak into a bedroom at night, right? His knife was on the table next to his bed. He reached over to it, yanking his hand back when someone else popped up at his window. Woah!" he gasped.

"Get out of here kid!" -My staff turns into a sword and I slash at the demon- "Go back to the pit you came from."

Blair protected herself with her demon wings. Her wings where really strong and as tough as anything. She turned and faced the stranger from before. "You." She growled. "Why don't you get out!" She shouted, kicking him in the gut, hoping he'll fall back and fall out the window.

-I convulsed to make it look like she kicked me but really I had grabbed her foot- "Ladies first." -I twist my body and spin to throw her by the foot out the window-

The room swam out of focus as Verin shook his head back and forth. He was probably hallucinating, maybe it was his mom's cooking. Just in case though, he pulled his knife out, the blade glinting. It was better not to take chances.

-I look out the window to look for the demon but she had escaped to some other shadow- "Well at least no one died."

"Yes, he is" Rayne replied to Elistral. She ran around the corner, searching for the demon. It seems that she shadows moved all around her as she pulled her shotgun from it's straps on her back. She was expecting to be close range, being surrounded by shadows, invisible herself.
