The sound of light footsteps echoed through the near-empty halls of the school, sounding that someone was in a rush. Her long golden hair flowed behind the small girl as her eyes shone brightly. If anyone didn't know better, she just seemed like a grade-schooler who had somehow slipped into the high school. It was the complete opposite, however; the tiny girl was actually a senior this year, stuck in between the ages of seventeen and eighteen. It was truly a case of "Looks can be deceiving."
The reason why the child was running was because of her mission. The mission for her today: to get a piece of whatever Hikari had made today before it was gone. Not that the girl's current mission was any different than any other days, as she absolutely loved sweets. Almost skidding to a halt before the third music room, the small girl only took a moment's notice of the music coming from within before opening the doors. "Hikaaaaaarriiiii-chaaaaaaan!!! You saved something for Sachi-chan, right?" The girl shouted, oblivious to the lack of guests in the room.

Hikari looked up from the piano, and smiled. "Of course I saved something for Sachi-chan." Hikari stood up and walked over to the kitchen area. She took a plate from the counter, then sat it on a table. "One cake with all the good stuff. Enjoy!" She was happy Sachi-chan had made it today. 'Well as long as there was cake Sachi would be there,' Hikari thought to herself.
Hikari went back to the piano, and sat back down on the bench. She began the song again. It still made her giggle for the fact she was playing rock on a classical piano. She smiled, and sang along with the song.

Sachi was already bouncing off the walls with excitement, but as soon as Hikari brought the cake, she exploded. "Yaaaaaayy!!! Thank you, Kari-chan! Thank yoooooooooouuuuuu!!!" The small girl squealed, nearby tackling her friend in a hug. She took the plate from Hikari, and joined Mikaro by the piano. "Hey, Mikaro-kun!! What'cha up to?" Sachi asked cutely, taking a bite out of her cake and savoring the taste. Hikari could always make the best sweets out of anyone she knew, and they always went good with tea or milk.
As she continued to listen to Hikari's music, Sachi grew quite calm. She could identify most of the songs Hikari could play, but Sachi thought it better to not bug her friends for the moment being. She took another bite out of her cake, munching on it slowly.

Mikaro watched Sachi bounce around the room, amused at the girls antics. Hikari brought in the cake and set it on the table, only to be attacked by the blond who then brought her prize with her to the paino's side. Piercing eyes hidden by reflected light off of his glasses, Mikaro observed the girls as they contented themseves with music and sweets.
Absently he ran a finger over the top of the cake, swiping a strand of frosting and putting it in his mouth as he looked at Sachi from over the top of his glasses.
"Good afternoon Sachi-chan," he purred with a twinkle in his eye as he licked the frosting from the outstretched digit. "I'm glad to see we weren't completely deserted. Did you have a good day in class?"

Noticing Mikaro swiping some of her frosting, Sachi scolded her kohai, shaking her fork at him. "Mika-kun, you meanie! Don't steal food from meee!" she whined, stabbing another piece of her afternoon snack and popping it into her mouth. After swallowing that bite (her parents always emphasized manners), she gave Mikaro a puppy-eyed look. "If you wanted, you could've asked Sachi for a bite… Sachi'll share with you, y'knooooooww…" she tried her best innocently sad voice, though who knows what she uses that for. Having the attention span of a fly (or whatever the saying was) the senior instantly perked up on Mikaro's question.
"Class was…okay. Sometimes it's booooorrriiiiiiing though… like Math and History. Most of the other classes are okay though… I guess." Sachi replied, twirling her utensil in the air absent-mindedly. Sachi didn't really mind school, except for when it wasn't a subject she liked. It's to be expected though, right? However, Sachi did enjoy coming to the club and hanging out with the other members or the guests. Her guests varied from time to time, but it was a decent mix of both of the sexes. Glancing around the empty room, she shot the same questions back at her friend. "So how was your day, Mika-kun? And why's it so empty today?"

Hikari smiled as the two other teens in the room chatted. She was still playing the same song, but was no longer singing. She wasn't really paying attention to the piano any more. She was just enjoying listening to the conversation going on right now. She decided the song she was a little to loud and switched to The Song of the Storms. She really enjoyed the host club.
The only thing that makes her feel apart from it was how she had only learned about it upon entering high school. To tell the truth she had been thinking about going to Lobelia. That is until she found out somethings about the Zuka club. Hikari's attention went back to the piano she didn't know if any of the other host knew about her wanting to join the Zuka club way back when.

"Hmm? oh, I'm sorry Sachi- chan. I just wanted to taste it. It just looked so good, I couldn't help myself. You really are a wonderful cook Hikari," he admited with an apoligetic smile. Opening his notebook again, he scribbled a few notes before snapping it shut and looking back at the girl devouring the cake.
"It would seem our fellow hosts have disappeared on an impromptu outing. They probably told everyone the club was closed today, but apparantly forgot to tell us. That about sum it up Hikari-chan?" he responded cooly. With a swift motion he swiped his hair back away from his face, though most of it settled back the way it was. His glasses glinted in the light for a second as he looked towards the window. Heavy clouds started to block the bright sunlight, making the room shadowy.
"Hmm. . . a storm wasn't in the forcast for today," he murmured as he walked towards the windows.

"Thanks," Hikari said with a girlish smile. She listen as Mikaro summed up their conclusion of why no one else was there. She nodded in agreement when he asked her. She was about to go back playing her song when something was said about a storm. Hikari hit the wrong keys in the middle of the song, and didn't continue.
A few seconds passed, and Hikari looked up from the piano. "Opps," she said with an apologetic smile. She quickly stood up, and hurried over to the kitchen area. She quickly looked for something to do. She garbed some random ingredients, and started cooking.
She didn't want to looked panicked on the outside. Thought she just wanted run until she felt safe.

Sachi let the fork slip out of her hand at the mention of a storm. It clattered to the floor, resonating in the now silent room with the surprise note from the piano. She froze, a shiver running through her. Realizing she had dropped her utensil, she laughed nervously, bending over to pick it up. "O-oops… sorry about that, I'll clean it right up!" she said hurriedly, running into the kitchen to grab a rag to clean up the mess she had me. Though it was just a bit of frosting and crumbs, Sachi just needed an excuse to run somewhere. To be honest, storms were on her list of things she didn't like--they were always so scary. "I hope the storm won't last too long…" Sachi murmured to herself.

Hikari froze for a second. She finish what she was doing, and put it in the oven. She walked over to Sachi, and got eye level. "Your scared to aren't you," Hikari asked the older girl. Hikari's motherly side kick in even though she was also scared. Hikari rarely showed her scared side, the one were she just wanted to run, and hide. She had a mp3 in her bag just in case something like this would happen. "Don't worry I won't let anything happen to us kay," she said with a smile.

She nodded, gripping her hands tightly. "Aren't you scared, Kari-chan?" Sachi asked the younger girl, her eyes beginning to water as she thought about the storm. Though she did practice martial arts, like the rest of her family, she could never really control her emotions or hide them really well. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she hugged Hikari. "Karii-chaaan… I'm so scared…" she sobbed, clutching her friend as her tears stained their clothes.

"Of course I'm scared," Hikari said hugging the older girl. "Its okay to be scared Sachi-chan," she said assuring her. "Everything is going to be okay though." Hikari gave her a reassuring smile, and another hug. She reaching into her pocket pulling out a handkerchief. She began wiping Sachi's tear away. She began humming her lullaby again. Nothing's gonna harm you, not while I'm around." Hikari began singing the melody. Nothing's gonna harm you, no sir, not while I'm around." Hikari felt her own body shaking with fear, but didnt bother to show it.

Sachi recognized the melody as an old choir song she learned when she first began. She had forgotten her teacher, but she remembered the song. "No one's gonna hurt you, No one's gonna dare. Others can desert you, not to worry whistle, I'll be there." she sang back to Hikari, feeling the girl shake with her own fear. She hugged her friend, hoping that she could comfort her friend too. Sachi could hear the distant sounds of the storm outside of the room.

Hikari smiled at the older girl. She was thankful for her friends, and there kindness."Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while,But in time...Nothing can harm you.Not while I'm around..." she continuing the melody. Hikari looked out the wind to see it even darker. She gave a weak smile and stood up. She waltzed over to the piano making sure to play very loud she started the song.

"Not to worry, not to worry! I may not be smart but I ain't dumb. I can do it, put me to it. Show me somethin' I can overcome. Not to worry, ma'am." Sachi picked up from where Hikari had left off. Her walk had a small skip in it as she followed her kohai back to the piano. "Hey, Kari-chan? Can you play this song?" she asked her, whispering the song in her ear.
[[The song Sachi's referring to is "Brothers" from FMA]]
