Ikeda turned slowly, sending an icy cold glare at the brash new-comer.
"I could give you some speech about how you should watch your manners, whelp. But I feel it would be better to ask you why you are asking? It may end up being a pointless question, but if you are to be chastised, I would at least like some small semblance of a reasoning for doing it."
He resumed a sitting position, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
"Or perhaps you are to senseless to think about using your own abilities to determine which of us is strongest, and then judge for yourself who is the 'head honcho'. Or are you just to weak to be using that kind of technique?"
He smirked lightly, raising his eyes at the man in challenge. For the moment, it was not martial, but it was important to establish a clear chain of respect.

∞ Soviette ∞

Ilimitado stood from her seat and defiantly turned from the others, fully desplaying her back to them out of blatant disrespect. Not caring what any of them had to or would do, Soviette casually walked towards the doors of the throne room and attempted to make an exit. Such stupidity and neanderthol like behaviors waste of my time. Cooing softly, Soviette did her best to entice the attention of the others, making other attempts to seize a rise out of them and cause more hype in order to align them all and remind them who really is in charge here.

And then the snoring commenced, long and drawn out with each inhaled breath that Palo took. He really didn't care what was going on, but figured someone would be so inclined as to fill him in later as to what had gone on during the meeting while he continued to nap on the table's surface in such a carefree mood. Whatever, really helped him escape was good enough reason for him to partake of, and at this moment that was sleep. The conversations buzzing around him an oblivious blur of noise to the ears of a sleeping man. Unconsciously, he curled up a little towards his seat, arms coming in to further cradle his head against the edge of the table.

Kimiko showed no signs of anger although she realized where these Espada were getting towards. She simply sent a mental message to Ikeda. “This is getting more pointless by the second. Perhaps we should drop this meeting for right now or we can directly assign them each a stupid role.” Gently rubbing her bare right arm, covered in intricate black tattoos – which was actually her zanpakutou in sealed form – as if nothing happened, her eyes turned towards Chara, lighting up rather brightly. Finally an Espada to look upon, besides Rakey, that is, she thought. On the other hand, Soviette was a blatant b***h whom she really cared to pay no attention to at all. And Palo seemed disinterested in every word that ever came out of anyone’s mouth. She actually felt somewhat pitiful towards him.

"Touchy," Ink said staring at Ikeda through his one eye hole. He continued to smirk, amused by the glares he was receiving. "You must not pay attention to the inner conflicts of the desert. If you did, you'd recognize me immediately. Judging from how you two are reacting, I'd say both of you are sharing the top spot.
"And, just so we can establish this quickly, pesquisa is a technique I learned three decades ago. And no, I don't think before I speak because if I did then I wouldn't be as infamous as I am.
"Why do I ask? Because if I'm gonna be here, I need to know who I'm going to hate for however long it takes before I kill either one of you."
Ink crossed his arms, waiting for the inevitable outrage and questions.

Ikeda ground his teeth audibly and drew his zanpakuto with a smooth motion. On a normal day, he would not be so irritable, but today was an exception. He was tired of the discord and lack of control, and needed to do something about it.
"PALO!" He roared, his voice deep and rumbling, and his reiatsu spiking to an enormous level, cracking the ground beneath him and sending a long crack through the center of his throne. "GET OFF YOUR a** AND PAY ATTENTION!"
He took several steps forwards, and slowly turned in a circle, throwing each member, Kimiko included, a glare.
"You dare to call yourselves espada? You are nothing more than a disorganized group of rabbling hollow! The menos would be of more use than you!" He whirled around, pointing the tip of his zanpakuto at Rakey. "You. I want you to put together a small group and attack one of Earth's towns, try to bait the shinigami and draw them into close combat, should your mission succeed, myself, Palo, and Chara, will arrive shortly after the shinigami, catching them in a four-point pincer maneuver. Depending on the power-level and quantity of the shinigami that decide to show their squirming faces, Kimiko, Ink, and whoever the hell we have left in this miserable castle, will be on standby for backup." He paused for a moment, considering something. "I will act as supreme strategist during this battle, and you will all take my orders, without question. Kimiko, being my equal, is set apart from me for a specific purpose, should one of us fall, Las Noches will not be without a leader." He turned to Kimiko. "This is all with the agreement of my esteemed partner of course." He smiled, although it held very little amusement, and more expectant formality.

EDIT: I did not see your post Alaana, but I am just going to have Ikeda ignore it for now, berate him if you wish, but he's in a mood.

Palo lurched backwards from the waist up, arms sliding down to his lap as his head snapped back against the chairback, breaking off the section where his head hit and above. It hit the floor with a loud crash, breaking into smaller pieces. Palo's eyes were open now alright, not even phased by the little knock on the head, but rather frazzled about who he'd been so rudely interrupted from his sleepy duties. Oh, he was out for blood now, scanning the room to see where the command had come from and looking squarely at Ikeda.

The fire in his eyes died down to a dull campfire, sensing the immense spiritual pressure engulfing him and suddenly dying out as quickly as it had roared into the small space. He averted his gaze, nodding at the same time in defeat. "Forgive me, my Lord K-. I-I didn't realize you were here already." The tone was different, trying hard to cover up that little nuance of his that seemed to annoy Ikeda on a regular basis. Normally he would've let the phrase slide, but today he obviously wasn't in the mood for Palo's character identify noises. The slouch return though, a little more erect than usual, but still prevalent in his posture.

The orders, however, were something he really wasn't in the mood for. At least being the second wave made his escape from combat longer, but he still didn't want to be involved, period. He really wasn't in the mood for it anyway, not really wanting to divulge this little tid-bit of personal inquiry upon his superior, but still feeling a small sense of discord within himself.

"Kerokero." He mumbled to himself now, the initial shock of suddenly being awakened by one of the few people he actually held fear for gone now as he sat totally in character of his usual self. It was strange how quickly he could forget what had just occured, but still retain the information from the conversations being held, but there was nothing one could sense wrong with it in the end. He still knew what was going on, well now at least, and was rather more alert than earlier. A state of much gain in some eyes. "What about the Ilimitado, my Lord Kerokero?" He asked, now twiddling his thumbs as he fought himself in a child's game of 'thumb wars'. "Should she be involved in this little excursion as well? Kerooo, oh." He chuckled to himself, right hand losing to left only to instantly begin the rematch after victory was attained.

(Uh, quick edit, Mirouni. You don't know Ink's name. >_>)
Ink shook his head.
"Jeez, someone's a little cranky," he said, still deeply amused. "Calm down. Posturing only works when you actually act cool instead of like a dictator."
He really didn't mind being called a rabbling hollow because it was very true. That's the way he was and he liked it that way. As for the comment about menos, now that was just pure bullshit. He devoured menos often. They were weaklings.
Maybe he's trying to compensate for having a tiny d**k, Ink speculated.

Kimiko smiled pleasantly and nodded in Ikeda's direction, ignoring all the sarcasm that was held within his own words and smiles. Then she shot a warning glance at Ink. "Show some respect," she said, not even in an angered tone.

|| Short port, sorry. Gtg to school D;
Just to clarify - Kimiko can hear thoughts. ||

((Actually... he does. Ikeda makes it his business to know everything that is going on within the Las Noches, as well as hueco mundo in general. He doesn't know his full name, or powers just yet though.))

Ikeda turned eyes as cold as ice towards Ink, and began to walk slowly towards him, his zanpakuto still held loosely in his hand.
"When I want the opinion of an arrogant weakling, I will ask for it. Remember your place boy."

((Sorry for the shorty, same reason as Mango. I'll probably be back sooner though. ^_^))

|| Orly? O; Well you're lucky XD ||

"Rakey, take Gaigan - he should be arriving in a few moments...and whoever else. Actually Ink may go to the living world too.
Lyusya and I will stay behind unless help is needed.
And Ikeda, Palo, and Chara will do their own thing after you guys leave,"
she said, just quickly summing up Ikeda's points.
"Now all of you may go."
She watched the tension between Ikeda and Ink and sighed. Looks like things won't go too well around here...
However, she stayed seated in her throne chair, staring at the table with a highly disturbed look.

"Do my own thing" Chara repeated to themselves, this sounded a lot more fun than just messing with some Shinigami, truly it mystified Chara why exactly they 'needed' to go and attack the Shinigami now, this feud was getting ridiculous now, just what were they fighting for?

It wasn't worth pondering however, orders were orders and he had to take them however stupid he believed them to be, now came the complicated task of 'doing his own thing'. It gave him no joy to just sit here and do nothing, in reality right now he would've prefered to be on the field of battle, it was something to do. He noted his double standards and then just let his body slip down the wall into the shadows until he was in a seated position.

Kimiko's eye instantly flashed towards Chara, her jaw rather tightened. "Should I clarify? You stay here and wait for Ikeda's orders. You'll have something to do. In fact, you will be important to our cause because if you haven't caught on, your job is to trap the shinigami after they all gather in the living world...hypothetically," she said in her usual monotone voice, although she wasn't as calm as her words sounded.

As Kimiko sat on her chair, red eyes began to form in the middle of the room, with a smile full of sharp teeth that glittered in the dark. The red eyes slowly began to take form of an arrancar with black bandages, wearing a long coat with his tongue sticking out, revealing his number. By his number, he was part of the espada, bearing the quinta sign on his tongue

"You said my name boss?" Gaigan hissed.
