"It's alright," Henri said, "They have camera all over this place, and security guards galore.They won't be able to go far."
He said 'they', because Izzy had followed just at Zach's heels.
"There, THERE!" he chirped, pointing wildly toward a balloon-popping game that involved sharp, dangerous darts.
"Wanna pway dat!"
She ran for the booth, grinning up at the pimply teenager behind the booth and waiting for him to give her some darts. That was how it worked, right?

Zach whacked his hand up. "DARTS PLEESE."

"I'm sorry, little dude. You need some money to get darts. Go ask your parents for some money and then you can get some," the teenager said, giving a weak smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. Henri rushed up behind the children.
"How much per dart?"
"One gold."
"Can do."
20 darts. He held them up at his level and looked down at the kids.
"Don't throw them ANYWHERE but at the balloons. Nowhere. If you hurt anyone, we're going straight home."
And then he put them down. Why did he have the feeling he'd regret this?
"Kay!" Izzy chirped, aiming her first dart, tongue out, and tossing it. The teenager dodged and went to hide by the door. Jesus Christ, who let their toddlers throw darts?!

Zach picked up one and threw it at the balloons too. Rene ambled up behind him to watch.

With so many darts flying at once, it was kind of hard to tell who had popped what. Henri had a feeling that that may be a problem when it came to prize time.
Izzy giggled as she threw the pointy little weapons, not really caring what hit where but instead just having fun throwing things.

Henri was proud of the little b*****d for not throwing anything at the poor, underpaid teenager.
Izzy saw that Zach was done and, feeling slow, she chucked everything she had left in two throws. Yes, that was more than one dart at a time. Very dangerous!
"What'd we get, what'd we get?!" she giggled, bouncing up and down. Certainly they won one of those fancy toys on the wall for hitting some of the balloons! If not, she would be very sad.

"Uh. Well. Far as I can tell, you both get a medium prize," the teenager said, smiling. How cute was that?!
"That's anything from this row here."
Izzy boggled. Those were so BIG!
"Um...UMMM." Oh, it was such a hard choice. "The green teddy!" It was lime green, which was as close as she could see to yellow. The teenager handed it down to her, grinning.
"How about you, little dude? Which one do you want?"

Zach absently pointed at a blue dog or something. It wasn't too important. He liked the game, not the reward.

Zach got his blue rabbit (unfortunately not a dog) and the teenager waved to them.
"That was fun," Izzy said, petting her teddy's ears. She liked the game and the reward!

Zach offered the rabbit back to Rene and her big bag. She did as such. "Rides, now?" He asked.

"Sure. You guys can't go on some because of height requirements, but there's a whole bunch here that anyone can go on," Henri smiled. He wandered the few feet to a park diagram and tilted his head.
"There's a lazy river and a ferris wheel. Um. There's a roller coaster for you guys." Really, it was hard for one to find toddler rides in such a thrill-seeking society.
"Oh, and the spinny thing. I think it's grunnies here, which is a little creepy."
He figured the kids could go on one ride, and they could hop a quick one for adults. Rene deserved fun too!
