Dr. BD: crying I wanna lollipop, TOO!
Steube: I was referring to the evening when you were coughing up blood and refused to see a doctor even if I paid for it. stare It's got nothing to do with you being healthy or unhurt and everything to do with you being a stubborn idiot about going to the doctor for anything short of amputation--and I'm not sure you'd have the sense to go if you lost a leg, either, unless someone forced you.

((I still want a lollipop!))
I'm amused. Someone linked me to the Universal Mary Sue test, and I went through it with a ton of characters. A.C. the spy got a predictably high score, because I tried to make her as easy to play as possible... but some of my characters got surprisingly low or high scores. According to this test, my villain is a very bad Mary Sue, but my extraordinarily-cliched vampire chick is barely borderline. http://www.springhole.net/quizzes/marysue.htmI ran a few other characters through, based on what little I know about them. Xeen took the cake with 132.

Wow, well, I tried Ruby, Ora and Erica...and that was interesting. Ruby wanted me to cheat so it would lower her score, but I told her no. Still, they were generally pretty low, though a lot of the answers could have gone either way at some points. They also totally give advantage to the vampire characters to find a way out of being mary-sue's, totally not fair.

I dunno. I do like my legs. So I'd prolly go for that. As far as doctor visits go, I only go if it's something I know they can help with, and usually prescribe something for. The coughing up blood would prolly just them telling me to stop doing whatever it was I was doing that resulted in the blood-cough ((I don't even remember.)), maybe some kind of pill to soothe my throat, which I bought at Wal-Mart for like five bucks, as opposed to the 70+ the doctor would have set me back.

Steube: Eh.
ED: Funny thing about that! I understood why they did that for the vampires--those are all things that run counter to either the mindless-killer cliche or the romantic cliche. I actually didn't use any of them, which is the reason I was so surprised at the final score. She is beautiful, does have sexual relations, does have issues with killing, and so on. I ended up using those answers for other characters, just because it's the only place lack of sex comes up and so on.
Somehow, I'm not surprised that Ruby tried to cheat. xd

Honestly, I wasn't suprised that Anc and Xeen were suprisingly high, although, granted, there were several questions that were hard answers for them.
And Anc being Anc had a much higher score than Xeen did, being as Anc showboats and puts himself out, in RPs and things I wrote back when I used to write, so his 44 completely earned.

Ruby was getting upset because a lot of the character's who were into her or squabbled over her shouldn't have been her fault as a character, considering they belonged to other people. I told her it still made her more of a Mary-sue, and she had something of a fit over it. But after arguing I decided I didn't want to be her friend any more, so unchecked that box, and it helped lower her score. And after reading the actual directions to the quiz and noting that I shouldn't check the boxes where people's characters are acting on their own control and not mine, Ruby's score went way way down. She was pleased with that, but I still think she has a good number of Mary sue qualities. XD

Yeah. Xeen, spite his made-to-be-the-perfect-baddie-and-be-ultra-hot was only like a 29, if I remember. WAY lower than Anc.
