"Thanks." Morph spat out the crab legs and kissed her back. Settling down, he picked one of the legs and cracked it open. "Do you like crab, Ara?"
He offered her some, pulling out more and eating it happily.
"When we finish this, I'll get us some nectarine."

Ara smiled and shook her head. "Crab makes my tummy upset so i stick with shrimp and fish." She said with a smile as she popped a shrimp in her mouth and purred. She sat down and crossed her legs happily as she watched Morph. "When were done eating can we go to the park? I'd like to dance some more for you if you want to play for me." She asked with a smile as she took a bite of her salmon.

Morph purred happily back at her. "I'd love that." He pulled out the rest of the crab meat and cracked open the second leg. "So what drew you to belly dancing? What did you like about it that made you want to learn how to do it yourself?"

Ara thought about it as she ate. "Well my owner was into India movies, Bollywood he called them, so i grew up watching them with him. I loved watching them, seeing how happy they made him and how graceful the females looked in the movies. They were so beautiful when they danced and looked happy. So i started learning to dance to make master happy. I wanted to be that happy with him even though i had always wanted to be out in the forest with other cats. In the grass dancing and playing with butterflies." She said as she finished her food and smiled at him. "I wanted the freedom that it seemed to give them, even for those moments that I was dancing."

Morph smiled softly, leaned over and kissed Ara. Pulling back he glanced at her collar. "Do you feel free now?" he asked quietly.
He picked up a shrimp and toyed with it, thinking about his brief stay in a house. He missed his freedom then, too. Missed his real home, his family... Morph was glad to be back among those he loved and cared for. He exhaled quietly and pulled himself back to the present. He was happy where he was in life, and how he had gotten here, and he wouldn't change a thing about it. There was no sense moping about the past.

She thought about what he said and nodded. "I do feel free. Though i don't know yet how i'm going to get this collar off." she said toying with the edge of the collar as she looked over at him and smiled. "Does it upset you that i still have it?" she asked. She wasn't ready to take it off...and didn't quite know what to do to get it off or why she would want it off. She looked up at him and smiled as she stood. "Should we find that fruit and then go to the park? I'm itching to dance again." she said with a smile sure that he was itching to see her dance again.

Morph stood too and hugged her, nuzzling her gently. "Of course it doesn't upset me. Mir says that everyone is different about their collar." he looked at her seriously. "I'd want you to feel comfortable about when and why you take off your collar." He kissed her and took her hand, starting back towards the mouth of the alley. "Honestly? I actually like the sound the tag on your collar makes when you dance." He looked at her and grinned widely.

Ara smiled at what she said and wrapped her arms around him tightly nuzzling into his chest as she purred softly. She let go and stood back looking at him and smiled, her eyes showing how happy she was. "I'm glad. i wouldn't want to do anything that upsets you." she looked at the little tag that reflected her name hanging off her neck and smiled. "You like the sound of it? It doesn't interfere with your music at all?" she asked thinking about adding some bells to her outfit soon.

"I think it complements is nicely." Morph smiled. They were at the mouth the alley by now. Skirting the fish seller, Morph lead Ara though the marketplace to the fruit seller.
"Hello, little one." Said the old man. "And Who is this?" He asked, looking at Ara. Morph purred in reply and rubbed against the man's legs. "I know what you're here for." He pulled a knife out and picked a ripe nectarine, slicing off a bit and holding it out to Morph. "And would you like some too?" He asked, holding out another slice to Ara.

Ara smiled happily as they walked down towards the fruit stand. She looked up at the man that Morph was talking to and looked at the offered fruit. She leaned out and sniffed at it. The sweet smell made her nose go crazy and her mouth water. She took it gently in her mouth and the taste almost made her actually drool. She sat down and ate the fruit happily, devouring it quickly. She licked the juice off her lips and looked around with a little mew looking for more, if she could have more.

The old man laughed kindly. "Another fan, eh?" He knelt down and stroked Ara gently. "Keep telling your friends about me and i wont have any more to sell." He chuckled, teasing Morph. Morph maowed happily and purred, grinning back at him.
The seller cut the rest of the nectarine up and placed it in a small bowl which he set between the two cats. "Well, help yourselves."

Ara smiled and took another slice and began eating it. "This is very good! I never thought about eating fruit before! What made you think of trying this? And how often do you come here?" she asked as she ate the fruit happily trying to not get too sticky all over from the juice. She swished her tail happily as she ate her eyes closed as she enjoyed the flavor, a purr coming from her throat happily.

"Oh, every so often. I guess you could say that Mir got me into them. We walk everywhere together, and she used to go on walks before she met me, too. She knew the old man, and when we were passing by, she stopped to say hello, and he offered us a slice and I was hooked." He leaned over and licked some juice off her cheek and nuzzled her, forehead to forehead. The old man chuckled softly. "I see now..."

Ara smiled and looked over him. "Whos Mir? I don't think i've met her yet. I haven't met very many others. You, Nyx, Ishtar, this pretty red head named Satine...i think thats all so far." she said as she ate another slice. "But i'm glad she showed you this stuff!! Its amazing!" she said as she nuzzled him back with a purr not noticing the mans comment about them, just happy that she had Morph and her fruit, and she couldn't stop thinking about dancing for him again.

"Mir, or Mirelle, she's my god-mom, even though she only a few years older than me, so i guess she's more like my big sister. I think you'd like her. She sort of adopted me because Mom and Dad had to take care of Nyx." Morph laughed. "She keeps me out of trouble most of the time. I think she's probably out looking for a territory right now." Morph picked up another slice, leaving the last one for Ara.
