Alena watched him carefully as he placed her poems back where they belonged, at first she didn't register what he had said until a few seconds past. She backed away from him not knowing whether to trust him or not, "Why should I go with you? I don't know you plus I can't leave if my parents come back and see that I'm gone my mom will have heart attack!" She wanted to scream at him but instead she said "Why?"

(I have no idea. XD My character has a fighter-type spirit. Basically, she's a fighter)

((And Nathaniel is one to avoid physical conflict where he can... hm. We're at an impasse.))

(Don't worry, she'll only fight when it's necessary)

((Sorry. I had been watching Soul Eater for a while.))
Nathaniel opened his mouth. Closed it again. Looked away. Looked back at her. Looked away again. Blushed. Frowned. Smiled. Tried to do both at once. Failed.
"Because I asked nicely?" he suggested sheepishly. Damn. Damn, damn, damn. How exactly was he supposed to go about this, again? Or was the accepted method to hit her over the head with a rock and drag her back by the hair or something?

(It's alright) It looks like he's having a hard time or something. Alesea didn't say anything wanting to see what his next reacton was. Maybe it's just a prank or something?

(Well, It does still say accepting in the title, and as long as you're literate enough not to have one liners or look like a n00b, I'll be fine. ^^ I just need you to send me your profile like it tells you to in the Rules.)Richard listened carefully, thinking about the lyrics, trying to fit together the next vers in his mind from what he'd heard her sing already. Taking a deep breath, he stepped out of the shadows, dropping his horses reigns, and continued wat he thought was right in a soft tenor.
"Sing like you think no one's listening You would kill for this Just a little bit just a little bit You would..."
He kept his hands clasped behind his back and stopped singing as he met her eyes, up above in the tree house, somehow the horse followed him over and put its muzzle to his neck. snuffling.

((Please show me how to go about this... xD I'll post as nate once I know what to do. :/
I froze at the sound of another voice breaking through the solitude, fingers stopped in mid strum. At first, I was terrified, but the clear tenor made my suspicions melt away as music was apt to do, and somewhere in the middle of his part my hand slowly began to finger the chord once more. My own voice rose in answer, matching his more beautifully than I ever knew it could...
"Sing like you think no one's listening You would kill for this Just a little bit Just a little bit You would You would..."

(lol, Richard's got the Moves! Umm... I'll try and fix it? Fixed! smile )
"Sing me something soft Or sad and delicate Loud or out of key Sing me Anything..."
Richard finished the last verse, speaking the last word softly, his eyes stil trained on Jubilation in the tree, his horse still attempting to push him over with its muzzle. He bowed low over the ground, keeping his head raised enough that he could see the tree house, and grabbed his horses reigns while he was near them. When he stood up straight he pushed his glasses up a bit on the bridge of his nose, a smile on his face, and swung himself up onto the dark steed. With balance he'd been trained with in the caverns he lifted himself up and was soon standing on his horses sadle. "M'lady." He greeted, ducking his head again. He had a grin on his face like a foolish school boy.
