Selena looked up from the mushrooms and blinked at him once more. They had eye contact. Then she continued to eat.
Poor soul, he's gone insane.

After making eye contact he felt perplexed. He then started to think something was wrong, going over to her he asked, " did I do something wrong?"

Selena sighed and mumbled to herself, quietly enough so that Chev could not hear.
Why are all the Soquili I encounter so set on knowing if they did something wrong? Everyone responds diffrently, and I am not hurt easily by words or actions, if ever. Its beyond me how they are so kind to everyone.
But she tried to answer as politely as possible, "Yes Im fine, I have my mushrooms and nice company, so why would anything be wrong?" Her question was serious. She was fine, she was enjoying herself and his company. Perhaps insane company, but that's alright.

Chev blinked innocently."ok."
He laughed to himself a bit" at least you don't look like a mouse!" He remembered seeing mouse like soquili.

Selena raised an eyebrow at the stallion?
"A mouse? No dear sir, I am in no way or manner a mouse" She said with a giggle.

Chev nodded laughing a little.
"nope not a mouse, but a horse you likes cheese, and hats..."
He liked the hat, it made her look good.

"Cheese is very good for you, as is milk, which is what cheese is made from," She said with a stern nod, which made her hat flop over her eyes.
She burst out laughing and fixed it, "As for hats, they can be a bit mischievous at times" She said with a cunning grin.

Chev smiled broadly and happily.
He then started to look for more mushrooms
eventually he quickly got bored of the silence and asked a question.
"what's the worst thing you ate?"

Selena blinked at the question. The stallion was so random, funny and surprising that it was hard not to smile or enjoy his company.
"Hmm..." She hummed, pondering over her answer. She thought of all the disgusting left overs and trash she was feed as a foal when she was in the hands of the Angeni. But then thoughts of the fruit and plants she had eaten when running away. Not knowing what they were, she usually would wind up sick.
Then it hit her, she knew the one thing she had eaten, the last day she was with the Angeni. it was so horrible, so disgusting that it was one of the reasons she ran away.
"Rotting liver, with half an eyeball, spinach, dead grass, and dirt on top." She said with a wide smile.

"Im not sure, it seemed like it at the time," she said with a giggle, "But I was so hungry I would eat anything, even that."
"Though I was sick and vomiting for weeks after it, I still have nightmares." She said with a smile and chewed on a mushroom.

Selena smiled sadly at Chev. "It was a long time ago, and there is no point in trying to get revenge. They are all probably dead anyway. And it was far away from these lands, I would not know how to get back there..." The cheery atmosphere suddenly changed, so she quickly put the bright tone back in her voice.
"What about you? What was the strangest thing you have ever eaten?"
