Mankato smiles at her "ahh..well thank you" he replied before brushing stray hairs to the side and gently stroking her "you are fairly good sight as well" he told her with a soft smile.

She felt the heat and the red rise up in her cheeks. "Thank you..." She whispered softly. Did any of her sisters have this problem around guys? Sabline seemed very confident in hanging out with the guys and unphased by many...

Mankato smiles "your very welcome" he told her beaming a bit before swishing his tail to and fro idly. Given that Azure was just a teen he would wait a little longer..for her to reach adulthood. Then maybe he can tell her how he felt..unless she noted them already.

Azure hadn't the slightest clue how he felt for her. She was a little more concerned with the butterflies now fluttering around in her tummy. Maybe this was why daddys were so nervous about their little girls as teens...the butterflies were starting to make her feel sick. Even now, she was at a loss as to what to say other then small talk...

Azure blinked up and nodded. "Yea. I'm fine." She smiled sweetly and looked into the water. "there's fish in the water." D'oh! Why'd she say something so completely obvious?

She nodded, turning her smile into a grin. "Of course I'm sure I'm feeling alright? why wouldn't I be? I mean it's not -" She stopped in midsentence. She need to rethink her words. It was way too soon to be blurting out she liked him. "- Not everyday you see fish in the water." there..she covered herself. No way was she admitting anything else.

"True...I think it's pretty when the fish come up to the surface and they make little ripples when they go down." She looked at the water. A fish did what she said.

Mankato sat on his haunches near the water's edge and smiled as a fish surfaced "hello little fishy" he said with a light chuckle.

The fishy swished about before doing a little belly flop back into the water. Azure giggled quietly.

Mankato smiled a bit as the fish dove back into the water, he laid on his stomach and looked at his reflection before sighing ever so slightly and dipping a hoof in the water and swirling it around.

She watched him play in the water. She dipped her own foot in, grinned mischeivously and tossed a small bought of water in his direction.
